I was about to ask what are the chances the killer/killers have been members of this board? Also, I'm craving some froyo after watching that.

I took my first real cooler hand in a while on Friday. lost my first 500 buyin with AK vs AJ on a A-5-7 flop in a 4 bet pot where he turned 2 pair. then adding 500 more, spent 3 hours getting smaller wins targeting one specific player to get up around $1100. Its now past 1am. new super splashy player gets in, the kind that likes to blind bet 500 all in.... and wins an inordinate percentage of the time. he quickly ends up with a 1.1k-ish. I get AKdd MP, there was a $10 straddle and a $30 open. I make it $100, splashy player calls. so does the open player. Flop is As Ks 9d. open bets out $100, I raise to $200.. splashy player shoves. folds to me. This screams flush draw to me. and I know he doesnt have AA or KK here based on his play. so I snap call.... and he turns over 99.... ouch... no escape for me and Im felted and done for the night. -1000

2025 Boston Red Sox: Anti-Torpedo Countermeasures
Mittens replied to MuellerHorn's topic in Baseball
I know there's a lot of new Sox fans over the last 20 years who may not feel the true depth of hatred for them, but I went to my 1st game in 1982 and had to live through a LOT of Yankee winning before 2004. Every day we're above them in the standings is a good one. -
Going on nothing but the sky,, tell me what month you think this morning is in central Texas? no cheatingβ¦. Yeah thatβs not an August morning sky. Iβll take it!!!

Itβs also an issue that βfacts have a liberal biasβ has gone from some smug asshole thing to say to a real problem where you canβt present both βviewpointsβ while adhering to any of the core principles of journalism. -
ok, this is not seinfeld related but I canβt find a dumb and dumber thread and I donβt want to start a new one. and you pricks in here seem like youβd be the ones whoβd appreciate it. but Iβd never seen this before. any of yall ever seen this before?

Interesting, but just under 10.7 by the kid in Britain wouldn't have got him out of some districts in Texas and what the article failed to mention is not only did a 17-year old junior when the 100 M last spring, but there were two younger participants who ran under that 10.68 they highlighted in the story. Also, fucking spikes aren't the reason these kids are running in the so damn fast.

Conservative media today would be nowhere as even-handed as Buckley, who actually believed in the exchange of ideas. Incidentally, Firing Line was restarted in 2009 with Herbert Hoover's granddaughter as host. She is conservative, and former Fox commentator, but anti Trump, as I suspect Buckley would have been. If there's any liberal slant in PBS/NPR, I suspect it's really in PBS News' various shows. But, the presence of Firing Line in the lineup indicates more of an effort at even-handedness than most. I suspect that those of you claiming its liberal captured don't listen to NPR or watch PBS. Like most things, you've been suckered by propaganda. Also, caught up on some American Experience and Frontline. The AE on German American Bund was excellent. Almost completely factual, but it has darky and Jew commentators (woke!). It's timing is felicitous, as is the one on the Gilded Age. THAT is the very subtle liberal slant of PBS. -

His essay is on point - basically a couple of short vignettes demonstrating the impact of poor leadership that lead him to his view on leadership, inclusivity, lead by example and accountability. He finishes with vignettes where he did those things as drum major. It totally shows compassion, leadership and passion. off the rails - I mean heβs quit his job and has no money, he quit doing things around the house without asking, before we left for a vacation he got drunk with his friends (not the worst thing a senior can do but way off his baseline), heβs running on adrenaline and full of cortisol as he tries to be the baddest drum major ever and itβs not a good look. Heβs told me to be quiet 3-4 times in the last week where before it was rare. Heβs got an inflated ego beyond anything Iβve seen from him, he wonβt work on his college apps without me sitting on him, and heβs acting like a dick and is just an unpleasant kid to be around where before he was a dream kid to raise. Iβm taking it in stride but it isnβt fun rn.

RMDs are necessary and I donβt have a ton of sympathy for someone who is pushed to 200-250k in taxable income and higher tax brackets. There was a deal with tax advantaged, retirement accounts that the owner would someday pay taxes on their accounts. Time to pay the piper. Im going to assume an older person, who doesnβt want to take RMDs, already has plenty of money and assets. And they want to avoid a >30% bracket. I get it but start spending the money, or give it away. Or is it their eventual heirs that are ticked off?

Almost done with reading Newey's book and he really isn't too cautious when making his feelings known about Ferrari, the way they were treated differently by the FIA, the way other teams felt about Ferrari, and his thoughts on Michael crashing out David to make sure he won the WDC. No doubt Adrian has his faults, but it reminds me of listening to Cowboy fans.
