  3. This transparency is going to contribute to the downfall. They can be counter traded. Prices can be moved by other entities to where they lose money. With this burst in retail interest, I'm sure hedge funds and other traders are now looking at how to capitalize on it. You should read about Long Term Capital Management. The best and the brightest. Nobel Prize winners. Had a great couple of years. Ended in the first big Wall St bailout.
  4. Let me guess . . . the Longhorn should be upside down?
  5. Similar feelings here, but for me I was always pissed that Sandberg kept Bill Doran out of the all-star game.
  6. Now Burton is just trolling ctj.
  7. Kevin and Winnie had a trans son?
  8. They are located on I-20 for a couple of years now.
  9. Suarez is the obvious advantage because he can actually hit a home run which is what we fucking need....but I am not sure what he would cost.
  10. your reading comprehension ain't so great, is it? or do you just look to be the victim when you realize you are wrong? it's one or the other.
  11. "There are two peoples living between the river and the sea, not one, and they are entitled to separate states in which each of these peoples enjoys the full panoply of civil and human rights." Britain and France Have Pledged to Recognize a Palestinian State. What Would It Mean? The announcements reflect deep frustrations with Israel’s conduct in Gaza and in the occupied West Bank, experts say. Britain on Tuesday said it would recognize a Palestinian state if Israel did not reach a cease-fire agreement on the war in Gaza by September. Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s move followed France’s announcement last week that it would officially acknowledge Palestine statehood. Both announcements reflect the deep frustrations by both nations with Israel’s conduct of the war in Gaza, analysts say, which has killed tens of thousands of Palestinians and left a population of about two million in a state of extreme privation and hunger. They also came in response to Israel’s actions in the occupied West Bank: Its military activity there has displaced Palestinians en masse this year, settlement plans have expanded, and violence by settlers against Palestinians has risen since the Hamas-led Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel ignited the war. That assault killed about 1,200 people and led to the abduction of about 250 others to Gaza. The announcements raise questions about what the recognition of a Palestinian state would mean and what it can actually do. Countries that have recognized the State of Palestine. If the UK goes through with it in September, you have to think Canada, Australia, and New Zealand aren't too far behind.
  12. This I was four or five and my parents took me and my older brother to the drive-in in their convertible VW Bug. At 53, I still remember crying and hiding in the backseat because I was so scared of Frankenstein.
  13. He looks like ass in his commercials and I'd bet he'll be dead within a year or 2.
  14. Sounds like we need to build more coal plants, just as Jesus wanted.
  15. A couple of days ago, we did a Freedom Trail guided tour in Boston. Dodgers were in town, so lots of L.A. people in the crowd. As the tour starts in Boston Common, the guide made reference to the king sending troops over, to camp in Boston Common, as a show of force. He says “so, imagine, your national guard showing up in your home town as a show of force.” One couple from LA audibly laugh and shake their heads “yeah…we don’t have to imagine it.” Guide realizes, says “oh yeah…sorry.” The rest of the tour just sighs. Fucking A.
  16. Have they determined the class of Kaiju yet?
  17. That looks like the eastern US, besides Florida. And I guess Michigan is kind of f*cked. I wrapped some brisket in them, it is delish.
  18. I’m guessing she will have a heart attack instead. Leading to increased interest about the risks for heart attacks with women.
  19. Helobious

    Florida Gators

Florida became my 2nd favorite team as a kid because I like alligators, and that developed into still being a fan and following them as an adult. Lagway is currently in a boot and is unlikely to play in the first game. There’s a growing concern that he’s made of glass and will never play a healthy season in Gainesville. Needless to say Florida is completely fucked without him. They have Baugh and a solid o-line and solid receivers but it’s all meaningless if there’s no threat to get it to the guys outside.
  20. @StassneyHorn I had already tried once
  21. Why the hell would the Astros trade for Carlos, a guy that it has been proven can't pass a pre-trade physical due to his body falling apart, when they can't keep the players they already have healthy.
