  1. Past hour
  2. I may have missed it but what happened to Watson?
  3. I think you could make a decent profit betting against guys who go around saying 'Mark it' or 'Book It'.
  4. Why would a wr with 5 star athleticism only be rated a 4 star? Hmmmm.
  5. That would give those fightin Texas ags a great excuse for their season and the next few. They’d have won 3 NCs in a row but for the unfortunate sideline death of the best coach in football.
  6. HTF does a headstock get broken off inside a hard shell case? Plus I’ve flown with an acoustic many times, and an electric a few times on Southwest. Every time they’ve let me carry it on. I’m calling bs.
  7. Shot: (note the 27 "stars" given to this post) Chaser:
  8. no msg?
  9. Thought ref should have given advantage on that yellow card.
  10. It's not about you. Your post was merely convenient.
  11. Or, here’s a thought. Work with me here. Maybe just use these?
  12. thank you ctj for posting this - it has a critical data point - i've been running with the 2014 win at #9 south carolina as the last true road win the google AI search results often return incomplete or totally incorrect results and this is such a case as the win at #3 barn was 8 games after the south carolina win we have a new date the last aggy true road win over a ranked opponent was 9 november 2014 at jordan-hare 3934 days ago
  13. i read that as littlest and thought she was putting one in at her house
  14. Yeah. It was a hand me down. in high school, we were taught basic computer literacy using HyperCard, lotus 1-2-3, and ClarisWorks.
  15. Well said. Agree with this 1,000,000%.
  16. This. This COVID shit needs to be looked at again. Just like the new college overtime which also sucks with the alternating 2 pt conversions. That sucks. Want to make it better? Make OT no kicking. Boom. Better. No field goals in OT. Just TD’s and 2 pt conversions from the start. That would incentive teams to try and ‘win it’ in regulation too… well at least in my non analytics brain it does…..That’s at least football. Not soccer penalty kicks BS. I was watching something that stuck with me the other day in which someone said it’s now (unlikely) possible for you to throw a perfect game a lose. 9 inning of perfect but game 0-0. You go out into the 10th. Deep fly ball to deep right center. Runner advances in tag up. Second batter deep fly ball to center. Tag up and score. And then you get 3rd out. you’re down 1-0. Your team does nothing and you lose. So no hits, no errors, no base runners outside of the free one…. And an L Theres something fundamentally wrong with a set up that would allow a pitcher to throw 9+ innings of perfect baseball and lose.
  17. Burton: We had some major questions going into the scrimmage yesterday. Some of them were answered: Back-up QB The role feels more and more like transfer Matthew Caldwell’s to lose. We’re told Caldwell looked more than serviceable again yesterday and even started with the second unit. Granted, Steve Sarkisian singled out KJ Lacey, too. The freshman engineered a two-minute drive for a score while working with the 1s. But the plan has always been to redshirt Lacey while letting Caldwell and Trey Owens fight over the back-up role. Tight end rotation Texas worked a lot in 12 personnel yesterday and the first two in the rotation were Jack Endries and Spencer Shannon. Jordan Washington has had a good training camp but Shannon has held Washington off to this point because of his skill and precision as an inline blocker. Secondary Texas seems pleased with the decision to try Michael Taaffe at nickel. That means Taaffe is likely the day-one nickel vs Ohio State, before a heavy situational rotation begins within the game. Likewise, the corner spot opposite Manny Muhammad seems headed to a stand-off of sorts. Both Jaylan Guilbeau and Kobe Black are likely to see starter reps. ** Other positional notes: Interior D-line rotation With Maraad Watson sidelined, the Texas DL rotation was reshaped some yesterday. Alex January played alongside Travis Shaw while Hero Kanu and Cole Brevard were paired together. Wide receiver rotation With Emmett Mosley V sidelined by injury, receivers other than Ryan Wingo, DeAndre Moore and Parker Livingstone must step up. Daylon McCutcheon has been circled as someone capable of doing that all the way back in spring. But more recently Sark has started to sing the praises of Kaliq Lockett, too. Lockett had a double-move on 4th down yesterday that drew high praise from the coaching staff. Aaron Butler did not receive as many opportunities yesterday as he did in the previous scrimmage. Running back Sark said it himself. He had planned all along to slow-play CJ Baxter’s return, to let him get acclimated to college ball and then push him along after Ohio State. But that thinking changed following last Saturday’s scrimmage and was further evidence enhanced by yesterday’s action. With Tre Wisner held out for part of practice, Baxter split some time with the 1st unit along with Christian Clark. Other backs eventually rotated in with that group as well. If Wisner and Baxter are 1a and 1b as Sark described them, then Clark is the clear no. 3. Offensive line What we learned on Saturday is that Texas is working Nick Brooks almost exclusively at right tackle currently. He made the move following Andre Cojoe’s season-ending injury. Brooks spent most of spring at left tackle. So perhaps this is Kyle Flood’s version of cross-training. Give the freshman heavy doses of both positions. Jaydon Chatman stepped in at left tackle for Trevor Goosby who was held out because of a hand injury. Chatman drew praise from Sark for his play. ** A couple more things: - I’m told that Arch Manning’s performance yesterday was much more “consistent”than a week ago. - Do not be surprised if freshmen Graceson Littleton and Kade Phillips are heavy rotational players in the secondary when SEC play begins. They’re “too talented not to”, according to a source.
  18. Well, you see, the defense was renowned for wearing black shirts under their uniforms. This gimmick is just the next logical step.
  19. I remember in college mid 90s that you could go make a pot of coffee while waiting for the dial up to get online. Hook’em!!!
