Whatever happens with Lane, he should coach his team through their playoff appearance. -

Do we want to stop Thiel and all the other crypto weirdos from moving to Greenland? The sooner they leave, the better. Once they settle in and we get some competent government here, we should nuke their ass sideways. -
The Cowboys operated with a "defensive tackle isnt that important" mentality for the last however many years since they went back to 4-3. Even when the defense was decent they would falter when it counted. Acquiring Quinnen Williams looks pretty good right now

Short while back, LT was mentioned as the highest paid NFL position. That says a lot, including importance and scarcity. We've done well there lately.

The reality of the modern game in both the NFL and college is you are going nowhere fast if you can't produce from the QB position. You can find teams with generational talents on the defensive line at both the DT and DE position (hello Myles Garrett) that don't win at the level that a good but not great QB would give you. So I would argue that the most important position after QB is not a position, but a unit: the offensive line.

Jesus we play at 10:30 on a Monday night? Man that would be a lot of fun if I didn't have an alarm going off the next morning.

He’s here. He was reincarnated roughly 2 days after his self imposed exile. Let’s see who’s been paying attention.

No doubt. It's been an issue of late. But when she keeps her return within the same zip code as a teammate, we usually can survive it.

They have a guy who's gonna obliterate the sack record and beat the worst team in the league so now we're gonna have to hear about this fucking clown all week.

Shedeur looked pretty decent today.

We got stuck on that same rotation where AVW Gets picked on in serve receive. She had a block to get out of the rotation

There are no bright line rules. You can't just sit around and collect checks, you've got to seek other employment. You can't intentionally underemploy yourself to keep the checks big. Nor can you unreasonably decline a job because it's somehow "beneath you." You can't be expected to find a head coaching job that exceeds your current salary or is some arbitrary 75, 80% of it, either. You have four years from the time the contract is breached until you must file suit or lose the claim. Without contract language to the contrary (setting out a "buyout" or "liquidated damages") you'd be entitled to the monthly or periodic payments you'd have been entitled to if still employed, offset by the income of whatever employment you obtain. So, your obligation to mitigate or avoid damages extends as long as your contract might have, or resolution occurs, by lawsuit, settlement, whatever. In a trial, the coach is apt to argue that he couldn't get any better job than whatever he got, whatever it is, while the school is apt to argue that he should have sought/accepted some assistant/coordinator job at some large percentage of his salary. The jury gets to sort it out. Yes, it is a situation that begs for settlement/compromise.

I mean it's about as easy as it gets. I don't know if my recipe is legit or traditional or anything, but here's what i do... Half a white onion, diced. In with olive oil. Finely chop as much garlic as you like. Add it when the onions start getting soft and glassy. Pinch or fistfull of chili flake. Let that go for a minute or so then a good healthy glug of white wine. Let that reduce by half. Add a can of san marzanos. I crush them with my hands as i put them in. I then add half a can of water and let it all reduce for a while. Get a bit thick. Then i add the seafood. Whatever you like, really. I usually do mussels, clams, skrimps, calamari and some firm white fish cut into chunks. Cod is fine. Halibut is great. Scallops? Sure! Salmon? Why the fuck not? Let that go for 5 to 8 minutes and garnish with parsley and a bunch of grated parm. Squeeze of lemon and serve with crusty bread. It might be one of my favorite things.
