  1. October 5th marked the 14th anniversary of my dad’s passing. He died in his sleep at 62. He missed the MNC. And the absolute destruction of OU by Texas that weekend. I especially miss him during football season. There are not many dads who would sit and watch football with their daughters, much less expect them to retain the shit being explained. Hook’em

  4. I'm sick about the Kurds. I could cry. This is so wicked and I feel like I have a hand in it because I'm American. If I could be president right now, I'd fill the skies over Syria with American planes and demand Turkey back off. I'd airdrop medical and humanitarian aid to areas already hit. I'd go myself, unguarded, to the Kurd leadership and abjectly apologize that the US allowed this outrage to even begin. I would swear that the US would make solving the Kurdish issue a foreign policy priority because we don't betray our allies. This is so fucking bad. It's a crime. If we don't stop it right away, we are no better than the worst autocratic regimes in the world. The author of this policy should be publicly scourged. I'm so torn between rage and despair. We are shit.

  7. Good God Brisket. We get it. Please, for the love of God, stop. It's one thing to be realistic. Its a whole other thing to go waaaaaaay over the top trying to be super realistic. You might as well go post on every football thread that we are doomed. its fine when its tongue in cheek but tired when you try to play it out seriously. we dont need this shit right now. we need to be focused on working together to fix this. republicans and democrats and independents coming together for the betterment of our nation. if you want to quit and say we are doomed then go sit in the corner and mumble quietly to yourself. but thats the thing about you, i know you are involved and i know you are taking action to help correct this. so please stop with all this "we're doomed" shit. its not helpful. its not a healthy counter-balance. its just fucking tiring. and we need to be focused on more important shit than the claim you keep making that everything we do and try is meaningless and won't matter in the end.

  8. Again with the lack of self-awareness. When you go around thumping your bird chest with "WRTS!" and "Richest athletic department in the country!" and "$75MM national championship winning head coach!" and "Played #1 and #2 to the wire!" and "Top QB, RB, and WR in the state of Texas!" and "Top SEC west program in the state!" and "We don't brush our teeth but nobody notices!" and " We beat LSU's ass in 7 overtimes!" and "Ovaries on the table!" and "Big Dumpster Fire conference!" and "this roller coaster is going to the top this October and never coming down!" you are begging for everyone's attention. When you still suck shit like you always have, people notice and are going to mock you. Stop crying wolf, you fucking retards. Your program is irrelevant like it has been every year of your history except 1939. (80 years ago. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!)

  9. Will you please stop blaming Americans for trump instead of Republicans, Trump and the Russians? A majority oppose trump and always have, which also includes most of the people on this board, for the shithole piece of crap known as Trump. Yes he was elected, by a non-majority of the American people. He lost the popular vote by several millions. So he supposedly won the electoral college, by 80,000 votes. In three states that were either at worse outright stolen or at best, manipulated by the Russians, Trump and Manafort. Ever since he’s been president and started immediately acting like an ass his approval rate has been underwater and now a Fox News poll, fucking Fox News, says that 51 percent of all all Americans want him impeached and REMOVED. Geezus your anti-American rants have really gotten tiresome, especially in the face of the fact that the majority of Americans strongly oppose trump. Yes there are plenty of pieces of shit who support him, those pieces of shit have existed since the dawn of time and are nothing new under the sun. You are not breaking any news here on that. You should stop focusing your ire on the American people and start focusing it on exactly where it belongs, Trump and his Republican scumbag supporters. Not all of America.

  12. https://www.facebook.com/dan.kamrath/about?section=relationship Check out that relationship, Jeff Nellor is Dan Kamrath (Megan Hawthorne nee Kamrath's) brother in law. So the camera guy played for Art, met Megan at Baylor where she was a cheerleader, and followed Art to Italy when he was coaching there and just happens to be making a documentary, working on the side for Art doing a little illegal assistant coaching, and look at that.. his semi-relatives follow him to Mount Vernon. A Sandi Kamrath was class of '85 at Pepin High School, strange our Sandi Nellor went to Pepin and started her career in 1990 according to Linkedin. Well, I'll be. Looks like Sandi Kamrath is Megan Hawthorne's aunt. What a fucking wicked web we weave. I guess we found the 'family' that's in Mount Vernon that caused the boys to move there. Oh yeah, and a coach well known for developing system quarterbacks also happens to live there.

  13. I mean. It isn't really the first time. Ask the South Vietnamese. We did take in a lot of Vietnamese asylum seekers at least. Doubt our current Emperor would allow any Kurds to come here. You could also ask the Afghans. We are letting the Taliban come back there. We've actually abandoned the "Northern Alliance" 2 or 3 times in our history now. Or ask the Iraqis who assisted us in the Iraq War and we left them to be executed rather than allowing them to emigrate. Really, this isn't even the first time we've abandoned the Kurds. We let Saddam attack them for quite a while between Gulf War 1 and 2. You know, South Korea is kind of lucky. They were pretty much the last ally that we didn't flat leave holding the bag when shit got tough. If the Korean War had taken place from the 60s until now, Seoul would be kneeling to KJU right now. We got a lot of kudos for sticking by Europe and Asia until Germany and Japan were brought fully to heel. We haven't been that country since the 50s though. Our "good guy" account has been empty for a while. We've been operating on credit, but our cards are being cut up as we speak. We are even worse now that we abandon people while also refusing them asylum. We didn't used to be quite that bad even as abandoning people became our MO.

  15. Fuck, here we go with the “play Arkansas again“ horseshit. Next up whoever the idiot was who said we should be playing UH every year to help with H-town recruiting will show up and prop his dirty, shit covered boots on the desk and make himself at home. If we beat Arkansas’s it’s a given we win and we get no credit, if we lose it ruins seasons, and as others have said they hate us more than they like themselves. You travel to their shit little town and you get slashed tires and keyed vehicles. They play dirty. Fuck those assholes, you don’t throw them bones. We play tech every fucking year, you don’t consider it a rivalry, but you think bringing back Arkansas would be? Stop. Get help.

  19. My apologies. My country issuing engraved invitations to genocide tends to make me want to fucking puke. Mea culpa. What I'm bent out of shape about is that shit is happening RIGHT NOW that we can't "fix" or "correct." Those Kurds who are dying right this instant are dead. Forever. There, another one just died. And another. There's no fixing that. Working to fix shit for the future isn't enough. "How about we just make sure Hitler doesn't build any MORE death camps?" That ain't shit. The only moral choice was to attack the camps. We are at that point.

  20. Trump made this move against the Kurds when Congress was out of session. Anybody see that as an accident? He's too stupid to see the advantage in that, but whoever has his ear isn't. Congress should convene tomorrow. TOMORROW! And pass legislation requiring the government to protect our Kurdish allies. This can't wait for their stupid little recess schedule. This is murder. We cleared the way for a surprise attack. I don't think I have ever been aware of one of our betrayals in real time before. It's awful. We bomb weddings (it was an accident!), we kill nearby innocents when we launch a hellfire missile from a drone to kill somebody whose loss really won't matter (we're better than terrorists because we don't mean to kill the innocent!), and we employ cruelty against asylum seekers. The Congress thumbs its nuts. The people for the most part can't be bothered to worry about it. We are a callously negligent and malign juggernaut with a villain at the helm. I never contemplated that I would see this former republic be such a dark force on so many fronts. I'm neither proud nor pleased to be an American today. More brave and true Kurdish faces: Turkey plans to rip their bodies to shreds with airstrikes, artillery, and armored columns. Shame on the US.

  21. This is too good not to transcribe. It is PURE GOLD. He sounds like he's crying. Brauny: Kirk Herbetreit saw as an opportunity to take a jab at Kyle Field. Whether you agree with it or not, it was a jab. I think, I hope it's shown to the A&M students. I hope that everyobdy sees that and takes it as an challenge. In order for A&M to be in this game Looch, Kyle Field has to be a factor. Looch: No question about it. It's uh, yeah, I'm not worried, I've done enough talking about those guys between twitter and...If you're an Aggy and want to agree with them. Outside of the fact that, hey, tell me something I don't know. A&M hasn't won enough big games at home in the past 20 years. Well guess what, they've changed head coaches 4 times during that stretch because A&M hasn't been good enough at football. The results haven't been good enough save a few seasons here and there, but....that's, usually you have to be a good team to beat a good team whether it's home, road, or anywhere. A&M has not been that unfortunately. We all know that. Raise your hand if that came as some earth shattering revelation, uh. Then to take that further, if you're one of those Aggies who has to side with them to prove that they're right. We all know that they're right you morons....You self-loathing morons on social media and on message boards that want to argue with me. My point of the whole thing is yes, there's some truth to what they said, we've known this for God know's how long now. That wasn't what stirred people up. If you give a damn about this schoool...and and, defend it. Defend it. And If you don't want to defend it, and you're an Aggy and want to come at me for defending it, then shame on you. Because to me, when I see people sitting in a car, laughing and scoffing and being WRONG. It's really easy to say. You're talking about Alabama going into to play a ranked A&M team. Hey how big of an advantage has it been for A&M to play at home lately, you go look at the record, it speaks for itself, not necessarily a big advantage. Then someone in the car with any actually pulse of the situation instead of just laughing and giggling in the backseat while you pick games wrong. That that we've got, we've got Miss USA pick games at a higher clip than Chris Felica does, and me, well, I'm picking about the same. He's at like 57% when I'm sitting there at 0.500 right now. She's better. But, to sit there, Brauny you want to be part of this so bad, now you can't even join this club. You're shunned. Brauny: Well you're on a rant Looch: You're shunned. Anyway, the thing is, there's three guys in the car that's supposed to know everything about college football and I know Chris Fowler is busy chasing around Wimbledon or the Tour to France. You know to me somebody in there could of said, well you know what, that is true, but last year they took Clemson to the last play. No, that's not a morale victory for those that are uneducated and can't write or spell, but you bandwagon a Texas, you know bandwagon the Longhorns in burnt orange. It's alsot not a moral victory, . It's a fact to point out that Clemson rolled to the national championship last year and they got out of here by the skin of their teeth, and big part of that was Kyle Field. They beat #12 Kentucky, well it's Kentucky. Brauny: 10 win Kentucky Looch: 10 win Kentucky that beat Penn State in a New Year's Day Bowl and finished around #12 in the Country. Not like Noter Dame when Texas was back that finished 4-8 or Baylor, their only other top 10 team that decade that finished 6-6 Brauny: So the funniest thing is when you bring that argument to Longhorns. They say they play at top team every year, it's just a neutral site game. That's how bad your conference. But they're too dumb to realize that. Looch: Here's Texas right now, and if they beat OU, I'll change the narrative. But right now what they've done, they've lost at home to LSU, which the team they constantly want to bring up and ridicule, beat them last year at their field. This field that has no kind of advantage. Btw Herbie, Folwer, and the Bear. A&M beat #6 like 4 home games ago. So to sit there and say it's been since Jackie Sherril done anything at home and they're 0-200 and whatever. Well even by his skewed statistic, they're 2-9, which is A&M ranked vs a top 10 team. So It doesn't include beating OU in '02 because A&M was unranked. It doesn't include, you know there's another top 10 win in there because A&M wasn't ranked, so we're not counting those. Even last year, 4 games ago, they beat #6 ranked, but they weren't ranked so that doesn't fit into their... It's the most absurd thing. When I hear those things nationally, and twitter is the avenue to call them out for it, then I'm sorry, I'm going to do that. For those of you who go like the Longhorn site that originally posted it and go argue with me and saybut Billy they're right. Oh but I'm a woke Aggy, I'm a twitter age woke Aggy because I can recognize... do you think we don't? Do you think like? That is just the most commone sense thing ever. That A&M hasn't won a high percentage of their games against top 10 game since 2000. Well A&M's losing 4 or 5, sometimes 6 games a year, a couple times 8 games a year since 2000. They've probably got as many sub 500 seasons as they have good seasons during that stretch. It's the most obvious thing that they said. And they way I've seen certain Aggys, and there is one little element of them that lead the charge in it, and trip all over themselves to say something negative and prove they're different they are than you and me...it's sickeing. And if you know any of them, you should call them on it. As for the Longhorns, who cares, don't listen to their crap. You should have a comeback to anything they say, even still right now. To the big picutre...Kyle Field, was pretty dang good against LSU last year, pretty damn good against Clemson last year, and Kentucky. Which, by the way, is the first year of your new head coach, so none of the other stuff should matter. It could Herbstreit, Fowler, anybody with common sense say "couldn't things be a little better under Jimbo?" This is coming from a guy who doesn't think they're going to beat Bama this weekend, the same guy who sat there and felt just like every fan in there did when it was 14-0 to Auburn right off the bat. The team has to give the fans something. The energy has to come back. Brauny: Well if you'r a fan and want the team to respond, if you're a fan, they called you out. Herbstreit, whether it was right or wrong, they're calling you out and I think the 12th man needs to respond they way they want the football team to respond. Looch: And let me tell you something, you don't think it's cool to get indignant about something like this, I happen to think it's pretty damn cool. I happen to think...me defending A&M with my...our platform. It's not a big deal. It's not changing the world. But I'm not going to sit back because I want to look cool and impress fan bases and think I'm above it. You're a loser. If that doesn't at least get you to go "you're wrong" for saying that, you're a loser and you're part of the problem. (There is some more but I need to do some work)

  23. Normally, I'm all for treating any game like any other game. Or say, "Its not about them its about us" blah, blah. That works most of the time especially when you have the edge in talent or are clearly the better team. We have had more years than they have had, in this series, where we were just better. This is not one of those years. We are evenly matched. So, let this game get as emotional as we can. Throw out the coach speak and allow, hell fan to flame the adrenaline. This weekend is not an "In the Air Tonight" type of weekend. This weekend is an AC/DC "Thunderstruck" type of weekend. Texas SMASH those fuckers. Grip it and rip it! Hit somebody! Then hit that BITCH again for good measure!!

  24. 1. i believe this team is 5-9 on the road in the playoffs since 2017. 3 great 100-win astros teams, and we're winning ~1/3 of our road games. and that includes 2-2 in dodger stadium. we're winning 30% of our road games in the a.l. this was never going to be an easy series. 2. assuming we win, the rotation works out fine. if greinke goes at home, then we'll get cole in g3, which is a pitching advantage, and the guy i would most want going on the road. it also sets up game 6 and 7 with our best two pitchers at home on regular rest. this is why you fight hard for homefield. 3. if we can't beat tampa at home with one of the most dominant pitchers in the past 20 years on full rest, then we don't deserve this series, and weren't going to beat the yankees anyway. this needs to be our back-against-the-wall defining moment. define the moment or the moment defines you. let's fucking go.

  26. One thing I realized after I got sober is that I actually like people. Used to think that I didn’t. I don’t know if that’s a thing that other people have found in sobriety. Probably a characteristic of mine that was masked by my general level of anxiety and frustration. It probably was helped by my increase in confidence once I started to feel comfortable, and both understand and be at peace with what I’m bad at versus what I’m good at. I still sometimes get bent out of shape. And then I work through it and in doing so better understand and then better like the person who irked me. I’m thinking about what you said about listening to your SO’s bs, and why it is (apart from drinking) that I sucked as a boyfriend but got better in sobriety. On going hard and burning out, I had a kind of idea that I would buy a trailer in a semi rural part of some square state and disappear until I died. Figured I could stretch it out enough and drink enough to make my money match my longevity and just turn to dust. I’m glad I was too much of a pussy to act on that, hope you are too. I understand the feel. Also the crazy thing of how bad you could feel, and even struggle to get down the first several drinks, and then at some point, well oiled machine and everything is ok. And then you wake up with heartburn and nausea and vomit and curse and try and get back to that place. The most miserable thing ever, just absolute torment. Sounds like you’re set on doing that for a while longer. I get it. Wish I could convince you that all the stuff you think will be shitty about getting sober is actually fine, but I don’t think you’re probably ready. But do keep us posted man because we care and I’d prefer the timeline where you get your shot together and we talk through that whole journey to the one where someday it’s been a long time since we’ve heard from you and you’re probably dead.
