  3. The people who cry about SNAP benefits are the same ones who don't want kids to eat for free at school. On our ballot in CO this year, the funding of free meals for kids in schools is up for a vote. WHO THE FUCK VOTES AGAINST PREVENTING KIDS FROM GOING HUNGRY AND WHY ARE WE EVEN VOTING ON IT?? Oh, right.... majority of Republicans. Fuck each and every one of you with this mentality.

  6. Something that is driving me crazy is the medias reluctance to use the L word. Just say he lied, because that’s what happened. β€œHealth Secretary Admits he Lied About Tylenol as Cause of Autism.” That’s the fucking headline, assholes.

  7. when my hispanic wife and I were just boy and girlfriend, in the early aughts, we went on a 3 week grand tour thanks to her dad financing two tickets to Europe for graduating college. Anyways way too much detail. We started in London and left from Frankfurt with many stops in between. Anyways, we made it to Nuremberg, saw the courtroom where the trial was held (surreal af), and we'd visited dachau and auschwitz on the trip and it was all a bit heavy. Then we see a Mexican restaurant right in the middle of Nuremberg with a sign advertising margarita specials. Goddamn did we need a margarita, some enchiladas. The margaritas were fucking terrible so we had like a dozen because we fucking needed them. We were 22. Everything was terrible. But we were 22 and ate all of it. Anyways, I had a great feeling i was going to get laid that night but we got back to the hotel, my wife bought a snickers and threw that up and passed out Fin. F Nuremberg

  9. @Hank_Hill@MuellerHorn@Dahobbsafter thinking about it, I'd like to offer an honest apology to y'all and anyone else bothered by my posts. I tend to post a lot of sarcastic and troll comments that I mean no offense by, because I've never taken places like this very seriously. But that doesn't make it right, nor make it non-offensive. Truth is even though I know a lot of others don't take it very seriously either, some (not necessary any of you in particular) may, and I never know the effect it could have on one of them. Just recently my best friend growing up committed suicide. He battled schizophrenia and some of the seemingly most random insignificant things affected him more deeply than I ever imagined. I'd hate to ever unknowingly affect another person in such a way, even over the internet with people I'll probably never know personally. I'm sure some will not accept this and will continue to think the lowest of me, which is fine. But I just wanted to do better and give a legit apology.

  11. If by β€œillegals” you mean actual criminals (the vast majority of whom are citizens), I think the Texas prison system costs about $2.8 billion a year. If by β€œillegals” you mean undocumented workers, the estimates that I’ve seen are that they add about $30 billion a year to the Texas economy and pay approximately $2.2 billion a year in taxes

  13. All it takes is for one time -- one fucking time -- for the Dems to call their bluff. The Repubs keep putting a gun to the head of the American people, saying "we'll shoot the hostage." And the Dems, because they actually care about the American people (to some extent at least) always fucking cave to the threat. Well, fuck that. Call the bluff. Give the Repubs two choices: (1) come to the table and restore the ACA spending, or (2) go ahead, shoot the hostage. The Dem mistake has always been that they've thought that capitulating could avoid pain. It can't. It just means the pain is slower and more insidious. Rip the fucking bandaid off, and make the Republicans be terrorists in broad fucking daylight.

  15. We absolutely need the mobile version of Arch. I don't like rushing him back even if he's cleared - that doesn't mean Texas gets an effective Arch Manning. Given there's a bye after this week, I'd be inclined to start Caldwell and bring Arch in only if Caldwell struggles.

  20. Thursday - Bobby Big Notes: Sark also relayed that Manning practiced on Wednesday which means he is progressing through the concussion protocol timeline cleanly. We also know that Taaffe practiced in a green jersey on Tuesday and Hutson is attempting to return for the Vandy game. Perhaps Texas could get all three starters to return in time for this weekend.

I know we could do β€œimagine if” all day every day, but imagine if someone discovered that Biden claimed to have won dozens of golf championships, when in reality he hadn’t won shit (and in some cases called in his winning score after learning the legit lowest score, and making his one stroke under that). But kept all the trophies, spent years bragging about it, etc. Hell he caught a huge amount of shit for fucking eating ice cream. Fox would make that the biggest presidential scandal of all time. Just that one thing. Forget everything else. Just golf.
