I donated enough this season to get 6 OU tickets, but the site is saying I can only request 4 OU tickets. Guess I'll call next week to have them unplug it and plug it back in again.

Same. Let me know what they say.

Just got through ordering my OU tickets.  It was the usual shit show with the website.  Tried on my computer using Chrome several times to no avail.  Tried again using Edge to no avail.  Finally used my phone and got it to work.  The UT computer department must suck balls.  I went ahead and ordered some Arkansas tickets for jollies.

This finally fixed itself, so I was able to place the full order.

My law partner got a random call from the LHF to thank her for being a donor, and she asked when the seat selection times would be emailed. She was told that the email is supposed to go out tomorrow with seat selection time slots. Not sure if that will be true, but thought I'd pass it along.

I had the same issue. Called the ticket office today and they instantly fixed it.

April 23 at 9:35a. When people hear talk about their points, are they talking about cumulative Priority Points which determine their Loyalty Point Ranking, or are they just talking about this year’s points, whatever those points are called?

I just picked up my 6 OU and 4 Michigan tickets. Sitting with Arkansas boosters at Fayetteville and do not plan to attend away ATM games ever again.

If I sent you the money, would you request A&M seats for me?

Guys, are the seat-picking times you're alluding to for OU? If so, that makes me nervous since I haven't been given a time. If it's for seats in DKR, nm since that isn't relevant to me.

Am wondering about that too.

Not long after asking the prior question, I also received clarity in an LHF email that also said this:

TIMELINE
April – Fans at designated giving levels may request Allstate Red River Rivalry and Away Game Tickets

April/May – Online Seat Selection and Parking Selection

During this time, add or upgrade your seat locations if you want and select your parking for the 2024 season. You will receive a selection date and time in mid April based on your priority points as of March 15, 2024.

June 3 - Allstate Red River Rivalry and Away Game Loyalty Points Lock and Request Deadline

June-July - Online Allstate Red River Rivalry Priority Ticket Seat Selection

Beginning in late June, season ticket holders who qualify based on their membership level will get a selection date and time to select their seat locations for the Allstate Red River Rivalry.

Late July - All season tickets will be sent via mobile delivery to your email address on file

For additional questions, please contact the Texas Athletics Ticket Office at 512-471-3333 (Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Central).

OU seat selection should be June/July, no?

Listen, Captain Pedantry, it is right there in the text that I pasted from the email. That would definitely be a tsk tsk with a loss of 10 points out of 100 on your reading comprehension homework.

Dude, I posted that at the same time you posted your email stuff.

It's Friday, go have a drink.

It looks like the seat selection site is live for “preview”. I can log in now and see seats available (with a countdown until I can select seats).

Thank you!  I spend way too much time looking at seats options.

Went ahead and chose my seats today during my assigned times slot.  Kept the same ones as last year.  What surprised me is how bad the parking selection was.  Anybody get anything better than Trinity garage that chose today (Wednesday)?  Kind of thought I had a shot at LBJ lots or San Jacinto garage.

If you pay me half of what the Foundation charges for parking, I'll let you in on a parking lot that is less expensive and closer than the Trinity Garage that you can pay to park on gamedays.

Or just park and get in a nice walk for free, you could also flag down a pedicab for $10 and it would still be cheaper.

A ‘nice walk’? How many games did we play last year that didn’t hit at least 90, 1 or 2?

It is a nice walk.

More importantly I am not sure why you would park in the garages on campus, they are a pain in the ass to get out of post game. If I am not parking on surface parking on campus I would rather walk to one of the capitol garages just for the ease of leaving.

I'm not complaining about the cost.  I don't mind funding UT athletics .  It helps my alma mater and I'm OK with that.  And while it is a pain in the ass to get out of the garages, I'm in an air conditioned car with my wife and 2 UT grad sons shooting the shit as opposed to walking in the heat.  It's actually quality time for me.  I just thought that with my loyalty points and donation levels I would have gotten LBJ.

I was able to get Brazos on Tuesday morning slot 10AM.  used to be able to get San Jac as my seats are on the northeast side but no longer.  Brazos garage seems OK for exit.  not sure if it is bigger or smaller than Trinity but you aren't involved in the clusterfuck  with Trinity/MLK and crowds crossing the street from the game to get to scholz garten/tailgates.

I wanted to try to upgrade to Terrace Club seats but none available.  anyone else get into Terrace Club that didn't have them last year?

I also wanted to get into any of the premium seating. Donated pretty aggressively (or so I thought) to get into a better timeslot (yesterday at 11:15 was where I ended up, so not great, Bob).

Long story short, every single premium seat was taken by my timeslot. I was able to move down to better seats in the lower deck, but disappointed to say the least.

Trinity and Brazos aren't that much different distance-wise, and both can take forever to exit if it's a competitive game and everyone stays till the end and leave the stadium at the same time.  I parked at one for Bama and the other for LSU, both took over an hour to exit.  Equal suckage.

We never stay past the 3rd quarter, as we can’t deal with the packed mobs exiting on San Jacinto anymore.

Plus I don’t need to take another ambulance ride agai, and neither does the wife.

I selected on Monday and pretty much the entire lower West side was red/selected.  We are already close to the 50 and under the shade of the upper deck so we're happy but had hoped to move up a few rows but no joy.  I had been toying with the idea of the Centennial Club because my wife has trouble with the heat but our donation level doesn't get us there because so few seats free up there each year.  LHF advised me to make a 1-time $25,000 donation to jump up to Date 1 selection to get a shot.  Yikes.

They advised me the same. I said no, but maybe I should have?

I haven’t bought parking passes since I moved from Austin 7 years ago, but went back in this year. Do they still send you pieces of cardboard or is there some kind of scan system? I’m going to make 5 games this year but probably sell the other 2…

I am in the same general area and even on day 1 there was not much under the shade in sections 4/5. There was seating in 4/5 if you wanted to move low enough to be out of the shade.
