368 pages of mad liberal nonsense cause you can't get over an election, but yes, Im mad, never look in that mirror, we will never make 600.

Remember that time Russiapublicans accused Shillary(LMAO, get it?) of running a child sex trafficking ring out of a pizza parlor, while their lord and savoir Donald Trump was busy helping protect Jeff Epstein?

Then, just to put a cherry on top of that particular shit sundae, some MAGA tard billionaire got arrested getting a rub and tug by some sex slave in massage parlor whose "previous owner" has connections to Trump?

It's amusing that the deplorables are back celebrating an unpublished report that, at best, will report that the president's cronies are all criminals, but there isn't enough to go after a sitting president from a prosecutorial standpoint.

It's a good day to lap up the vomit and spike the ball. Be proud you noble supporters of the great Donald Trump!

"Oh, wait a minute! We never said we voted for him!"

Of course.

I have tried very hard to make it clear that there was almost zero chance of Donald J., Trump being indicted by Mueller, regardless of the amount or kind of evidence against him.  Thus, you can take nothing from the fact that this investigation has concluded without action against the President.

His family members are a different story, but they don't necessarily have to be indicted by the SCO because the conflict of interest between Trump and the DOJ isn't as strong as when the President and other executive officials are in the crosshairs.

That said, this report could well contain devastating information about the President. Or not.

So I'm confused, has anyone here read a single word of the report?   It sure seems like the Trumkins are flying the Mission Complete banner.   I just wonder why they went from Witch Hunt to GG so fast.

I meant that it would have leaked during the investigation. Nobody on Mueller’s team had any interest in leaking good news for Trump.

Sad that so many people here thought there was anything do it. But, considering the coverage, I guess I can understand why.

Such is yet another symptom of the Dunning Kruger effect, of which Trump’s base suffers tremendously.

wait...so he should address charges that were never formally brought against him?

Every POTUS, every moment of every day would look like a corner in the NFL saying he didn't interfere.

I find it fascinating that most of our resident trolls have been in complete hibernation yet have suddenly awakened tonight upon news of the Mueller report being done yet which nobody knows the contents. Anybody got a Theory as to why that might be? Coincidence?

Oh, there was always going to be a victory lap of one side gloating.  If Mueller's report dropped in time with the President being escorted out of the WH in cuffs, there would have damn sure been one.

Mueller's investigation has always been about getting to the bottom of something that smelled rotten.  If Mueller's report concludes that there was no conspiracy between Russia/Trump and the odious criminality of people like Flynn, Manafort and Stone is the bottom, then I am glad Mueller learned what there is to learn and that those people will no longer be an influence in American politics.

Trump's 2nd term will be up to the American people, as it should be.

Time for another Junior Psychologist term, you've loved this one to death.

Or, perhaps, see if you can force it into the Fire Shaka thread.  At least push your default around on the plate a bit.

(sorry jimmy, I know I promised.  I'll show myself out)

Also, I like how "this big uranium deal that involved people that had donated to the Clinton foundation happened while Hillary was SoS" has just straight up turned into "Hillary sold them uranium" in Trump land.

Reset button, how does it work?

I know it has been only 15 or so hours since the news broke no indictments for collusion and these times are hard for you but please for your health go outside for a walk today.  Take a jog.  Rub one out.  Things will get better.

Of course they will. They already started getting better in November. Before you know it, Donald Trump will no longer be president.

Funny how the Trumpers are spiking football's defending Trump and collusion, when that's only piece of the problem with Trump. Not the whole problem with Trump. Russia might/might not have helped him get elected. Regardless, since getting in office, he has shown more than enough to be impeached in any other decade. "No collusion" was always the battle cry because it was made as a distraction. How do y'all feel about pandering to the dictators of the world while degrading our alliances? How about all his family using unsecured emails and chat apps to do international business/diplomacy? Emoluments? Disregarding intel reports? Etc? All good cause "no collusion"? All good cause your side won so you can do whatever you want?

So many questions to ask.

Republicans sound very much like the Aggy bragging because his team only lost to Alabama by 20, when most teams get blown out by 4 TDs or more.  "our guy is a racist moron who can't speak in complete sentences, incites violence, is completely corrupt and unfit to lead, and hey, he sells out the country on the reg, but it looks like he might have managed to not get caught directly colluding with the enemy.  Put the victory sign up on the wall!"

This thread is 300+ pages of libs spiking the football.  It is being widely reported no more indictments and a 2 yr investigation which started on a fake dossier funded by democrats regarding collusion was not able to indict anyone associated with Trump for collusion.  What a waste of time.  Makes the media look bad and many on the left look like they just did a witch hunt.  But Russi... But mistress payoff!

I'm sure Donald Trump and his family are in the clear.

Pages of people discussing a major historical event in American history. Events in which last time, a President quit over. Started by a dossier funded by a Republican candidate and of which a lot has been substantiated. Where most the media shows one narrative and one outlet (shown to be a propaganda machine) providing another. But "both sides".

The behavior of (I’m assuming) adults in this thread is a microcosm of discourse in this country. I have little hope for improvement, regardless the outcome of the Mueller report. Civility has given way to political grandstanding and points tallying. We are going to eat each other alive while a handful get insanely rich off the carnage. Congratulations everyone, well done. And fuck me too, because I can offer no solutions.

Yeah we're fucked. My number one priority for a Presidential candidate is someone who I believe can start to move us past this. I don't know if anyone can, but I like Beto and Buttigieg there.

DIsregarding the overnight poo-flinging festival, let's see if we can shine a light on some of the implications that seemingly follow yesterday's actions by Mueller:

POTUS indictment:  not likely.  It's possible there is an existing sealed indictment, but that seems far-fetched.  It seems equally far-fetched that Mueller would kick an indictment of POTUS down to SDNY, etc.  He certainly wouldn't do so for anything related to the election and Russia.  The two most likely conclusions:  investigators found no good link between Trump and Russia's election interference, or such evidence exists but Mueller acted on DOJ policy which says a sitting President should not be indicted.  I don't think we have enough information to make a call between these two options.

Junior, Eric, Ivanka, Kushner indictments:  none forthcoming by Mueller.  Sealed indictments are certainly possible.  Handoff of cases unrelated to the election over to SDNY, etc. is also possible, and in fact likely (financial crime, etc.).

My gut tells me Mueller uncovered plenty of criminal activity committed by (at least) Trump, Junior, and Kushner, perhaps none directly related to the election, and that Trump himself escaped indictment because of DOJ policy.  I don't believe Junior or Kushner will be so lucky.  "No further indictments" could mean simply none by Mueller, or it could mean none by any prosecutor.  Would he speak for others?  I don't know.  Could sealed indictments of the kids or Kushner exist?  I think that's quite possible.  We'll just have to wait and see.

One other thing:  Mueller isn't done.  The investigation should be considered complete, at least to the extent that a report has been written.  However, Barr made it clear that Mueller will be assisting on further DOJ actions related to the investigation, which presumably involves adding color and providing advice on whatever next steps might take place.

We do live in interesting times.  Some say that's meant to be a curse . . . personally, I like the action.

If there is any resistance to releasing the report, you will know that the evidence presented therein is politically damaging to the president.

Not one of you is saying Donald Trump did nothing wrong.

And not one of you can say with a straight face that Donald Trump is a decent, intelligent, and trustworthy man.

And you don't care.  Because you care more about the liberals losing than you do about the welfare of this country.

Sincerely,

An independent who won't vote for your party again for a long ass time, and there are an awful lot of us.

I don't care if Trump shits on an American flag and then uses it to jack off with.  In 2019 he is nowhere near as dangerous to the future of the U.S. than the Democrat Party is.  That party is literally insane today and the shadowy insiders that run it are among the most corrupt and power hungry people on the planet.  The Republican Party wants to win elections and defeat Democrats that run against them.  The Democrat Party wants to win elections and eliminate, not only the Republican Party, but any other political party that dares to oppose it.  They want complete control over every iota of government in this country and will stop at nothing to get it.  The fucking idiots in that party have gone so far  batshit cuckoo they are actually now to the left of the Green Party.  Jill Fucking Stein makes more sense than any of the 54, 729 thimblefucks that are running for president in that party do.  You can argue Trump is a clown.  You can argue that Trump is a narcissist.  You can argue that Trump is a blowhard.  You can argue that Trump is to politics what Elvis impersonators are to music.   You can argue that Trump is to the Oval Office what Clint Howard is to the Academy Awards.  You could be correct on all of this and he would still be a better choice for president today than any of the bearded ladies, wolf boys, sword swallowers, or sleazy tilt-a-whirl operators that make up the sideshow freak political carnival that is the current Democrat Party.
