I know everyone hates Wickline...but she's good on Weekend Update...especially when she plays this recurring odd couple with marcello.  One of the highlights for me.

Sure, but Marcello drives the whole thing. She just mumbles one liners.

I thought so too. Also, where did Poehler's tits come from? I don't think I looked at her face once during the monologue. She used to be flat as a board - Is that natural weight gain or purchased?

She had a few kids. Plenty of money and contacts to get a good lift. And there you have it.

Jesus. I would imagine that my hell would be watching those two attempt comedy together.

She's now willing to go full frontal.

Yeah...that's kind of the point, no?

Hey ya'll can hate on a an actual good skit by her all you want. I'm not even saying I like her at all...just that one WU skit.

So Charli XCX appeared in Role Model’s performance of Sally, but they couldn’t get her to stick around for an appearance on Brown Yang’s Charli XCX show? It feels like a big missed opportunity unless she’s coming back in S51.

It will be interesting to see who Sabrina Carpenter brings this weekend. I think Taylor Swift thinks she’s a too big of a deal for a cameo, but we’ll see.

Glaser was on some podcast recently talking about how much she wants to host but didn't think she'd get the chance.

Very cool and well deserved for her. I think they’ll let write at least one sketch and air it. Like Nate’s George Washington.

Nate didn't write the George Washington thing, or any of the follow ups. Mikey Day did.

I was very conflicted when I heard Nate say this because I find him terrible as a performer.

Why the fuck is Mikey Day catching strays? SNL needs a couple straight guys to ask"what is going on here?" in various sketches. He's always nailed that.

This. SNL always needs a straight man/white guy. If he can write memorable sketches too, he’s more than doing his keep.

The Day - hot wife sketches have all killed. The J-Lo one was especially funny.

The Olive Garden skit is easily the worst thing I have seen tonight on tv and that includes the Texas win over Kentucky.

I guess I am way too old for this show as why exactly are the Diego skits funny?

I haven’t watched, but they had a skit set in a restaurant? Huh, that’s weird.

It was the cold open, and yes it was dumb.

decent episode imo. I liked the stupid Frankenstein video at the end too

i just fired it up on peacock. i’m not even two minutes in and this is impossibly bad. first off, all of the actors are visibly reading their lines off of cue cards. super distracting. secondly, sabrina carpenter can’t sing. so that didn’t help. but finally, nobody is laughing. it’s been two minutes of silence from the audience despite countless “jokes” where you can tell that they expected people to laugh. if this is what this show is like now, then yikes.

Not defending the cold open because the Domingo skit has been run into the ground, but the famous singer singing poorly is part of the bit in these skits.

So you're telling me that in addition to a restaurant skit, there was a skit where Marcello screams at the top of his lungs while making stupid faces? Huh.

They should retire the Domingo sketch, but they probably won’t because of the YouTube views. I think the episode was mostly fine. Sabrina Carpenter dancing around in her panties didn’t hurt.

Snacks Homiez was really funny. Even Wickline was good.

Which is about as funny and original as the smart employee fart joke skit at the end of the night.
