Pumped for the opener.  And these are the new food options:

One Taco, a Club partner and concession partner since our inaugural season in ‘21, will be expanding their successful Q2 Stadium operations and will now be featured within the larger taco concession stand on the North concourse (formerly occupied by Tacodeli).

Kerbey Lane, a new partner in ‘23, are now proudly the official Queso of Austin FC. Beginning in March, Kerbey Lane’s queso will be found at the queso stand in the Northeast concourse near the Zebra Gate.

CM Smokehouse, which currently can be found at Bouldin Acres on S. Lamar, will activate the portable cart formerly known as “512 BBQ” beginning in March.

And last but not least … we’ll be adding a new selection of ice creams at a new portable cart called the “Sweet Spot” on the East side.

Dude.  Kerbey Queso.  Excellent move.

Anyone have any reviews/experience with CM Smokehouse?  That's right by our seats.

I ate there a couple months ago.  Not a typical by-the-pound barbecue place.  Mainly sandwiches and other meals that include barbecue.  I had a pulled pork waffle (brunch menu) and something with brisket.  What I had was good.  I'll give it a try at McKalla depending on what is offered.

That was my first time listening to the podcast and y'all did a great job. Thanks for a good discussion of some of the new players.

We’re going to try the bus to the stadium for the first time instead of dropping $50 a game for parking.

I haven’t ridden CapMetro in 20 years. Do they take Apple pay or a card on the bus? Their website is unclear and it makes it sound like you have to download their app and fund the app with Apple Pay instead of paying directly. Which is it?

I finally listened to the podcast as well, nice work.  I had zero knowledge of the players we added other than Zardes, so it was good to hear a little about our possible lineup.

I'm expecting us to take a step back on defense without Gabrielsen. We all knew we needed to add another piece to the backline, and that was before Gabrielsen moved on. I am excited to see what Vaisanen can do, but I will be shocked if he steps in and fills Ruben's spot without a dropoff. The bit about Gallagher moving to the right and allowing Kolmanic to play the left could be a spicy look. Cascante will be who he is, solid for long stretches and occasionally he will have a mental collapse and allow an easy goal.

I think Wolff will be an important piece in the midfield, and Zardes will be a net positive, so I'm hopeful that the attack can get back to what it was mid season last year when the goals were coming at a high rate. I just worry we will be behind a lot due to defensive breakdowns, plus who tf knows if this squad will get it together with Rigoni possibly starting on the wing.

"Ocassionally"

I don't think the D is going to be very good, but it wasn't good last season. We'll just need to score a bunch of goals again. Good thing we have that Driussi guy.

Super psyched for tonight. My season ticket liaison hooked us up to have my kiddo be a player escort for national anthem.  First game in season ticket seats.  Hope for some fun neighbors.  Listos!

That's cool.

Our neighbors are great.  We've had the same people for the last two years.  A guy a couple rows behind us brings yellow and red pieces of paper that he tosses when the other team fouls.  Our usher just looks the other way.

Local broadcasts are a thing of the past, old man. Now we get access to all the games in an app for 100 bucks or we get nothing.  This will be great for the casual fan and will surely attract new fans to a league that has too many teams and not enough eyeballs to watch them.

Yeah this is a really short-sighted media strategy. Wow. Guess I’ll watch Liga MX tonight instead.

So I can’t watch this game on the CW channel anymore? Apple TV the only way? Wtf

Apple+ just download the app to your smart tv, laptop, tablet, phone, whatever. First week the MLS pass is free. If you are a TMobile customer, the whole season is free. Shouldn't be that hard to watch tonight. Production looks real slick, better than the shit assed local channels.
