I support hot lesbians and if that's wrong, I don't want to be right.  I mean, I support other lesbians.  And the gays.  Plus our trans brethern.

But especially the hot lesbians.

The furries though...

I mean, there you have it, folks.  Acknowledging that gay and trans people exist, and maybe we shouldn't treat them as subhumans, means that we're all gonna turn gay and stop having sex between males and females.  Yep, that's it.  Gays existing = the end of the species.

I've never seen someone so utterly debase themselves so quickly as we've seen Ana turn full MAGA around here, and we've seen Derka posts.

No one is telling you to treat trans as sub humans. That's just political rhetoric.

But maybe don't funnel undeveloped children that have been brain damaged (their parents as well) by social media contagion into a life changing hormone treatments.

You got your altar, brisket. Worship at it. It's a fickle beast.

The trans med management thing is a bizarro world conversion therapy situation.

It will all work out in the long run.

Trans kids pre-date social media. I'd say stop being obtuse, but that's pointless with you.

I know yall will hate this one. I could post the euro reviews, and we'll hear about TERF island or other dumb shit, but here you go. Economist piece posted as well as AAP for full balance (still waiting on their systematic review, lol).

https://opa.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/2025-05/gender-dysphoria-report.pdf

The economist treatment: https://www.economist.com/united-states/2025/05/05/where-the-trump-administration-has-science-on-its-side

And for good measure to get in front of it, the AAP response, which is lol: https://publications.aap.org/aapnews/news/32145/AAP-speaks-out-against-HHS-report-on-gender

Cool.  Tell us how this:

Quote

But maybe don't funnel undeveloped children that have been brain damaged (their parents as well) by social media contagion into a life changing hormone treatments.

Leads to this:

Quote

Humanity literally ceases when this biological absurdity plays out to its natural conclusion.

What is the "natural conclusion" of some minors receiving hormone treatments that causes "humanity to literally cease?"

"IF EVERYONE IS GAY AND ONLY FUCKS OTHER GAYS THEN NOBODY WILL HAVE BABIES AND HUMANITY IS DOOMED!"....says Ana, and that dumb fucking redneck in the bar we all had to listen to back in the 70s and 80s.

There's a fucking metric shitton of daylight between "some parents approve hormone treatment for their minor kids, and that should be objectively medically evaluated" and "Humanity literally ceases when this biological absurdity plays out to its natural conclusion."

But Ana gonna Ana, because whatever a MAGA would say, that's what Ana says.

Also, living in Texas, you know very will that this is a flat-out lie.  It is not political rhetoric, it's a cornerstone of the party's beliefs:

Quote

A Texas state bill could charge transgender people with “gender identity fraud,” making it illegal to identify as trans on official documents and potentially leading to jail time.

In a dire, and sudden, traumatic loss of life for parents, there’s no evolutionary value to having close family heretofore unhindered by childcare. And you’d be a fool and a beta cuck for suggesting there might be.

Leave the kids alone brisket.

Clearly, it's a crisis that merits the extreme action of elevating MAGA to all levels of government:

Quote

Only 926 adolescents with a gender-related diagnosis received puberty blockers from 2018 through 2022. During that time, 1,927 received hormones. The findings, published in JAMA Pediatrics, suggest that fewer than 0.1 percent of all youth in the database received these medications.

Contrast that with the estimated excess deaths caused thus far by the cessation of USAID activities for just the past couple of months (which was apparently a top priority for the admin who is going to save us from the epidemic of trans kids):

tracker-banner.png

89,000 dead kids, because we must do EVERYTHING to make sure that 2,000 teens, under the care of a physician (who may be making a good call or a bad call), don't receive hormone blockers?  TOTALLY WORTH IT.

They're materially greater than zero.   Shutting down PEPFAR, malaria, and tuberculosis programs....that kills people.   And food aid...well, none of that was feeding anyone at risk of death from starvation, clearly.

Jesus, your beclowning is a limitless font.

But meh USAID funding is not a particularly compelling counterargument in this setting. The beclowning is real. But you have to look in the mirror. Its a strange religion you have embraced.

Sure it is.  We HAD to appoint MAGA to save all those poor kids whose parents and doctors are poisoning them.

All fallout from that is fair game.  You made your choice.  Thousands of dead, totally worth it.

Like how literally brain damaged do you have to be to go instinctually from biological distinctions between boys and girls to pivot to ephebophilia and statutory rape. Y'all are some really messed up mofos. Your ideology deserves to be dismissed and ridiculed.

Normal epidemiology y'all.

Rates of newly recorded transgender identity during 2000-18, by age group

Oh geez, I can't imagine why the numbers would trend up as it's become more socially acceptable to be out as trans. Really going to have to spend hours if not days trying to figure that one out. And we're talking an increase from what 20 to 80 per 100,000. The graph just makes it look way out of proportion.

Yeah that must be it. Certainly no other factors involved. Epidemiologists on both sides of the Atlantic have just whiffed on it.

Not sure that you know how normative chromosome distribution works, but I am sure that you can explain it to the biologists and epidemiologists.

All of the trans adults I know (gen x basically) didn't "come out" as kids because there was no widespread knowledge of what being trans was, nor was there internet or any other realistic way for a kid then to figure out their situation/why they felt the way they did (and any attempt would have been/was met with 100% condemnation). I sure wish they had been able to do so because it would have headed off a whole myriad of life problems. But we can't have that... they must suffer for being different, I guess. And who gives a shit about people's lived experience, anyway. We must keep talking about "them" and regulating "them", instead of listening to "them"

Not sure you know that everyone's physical, emotional, psychological, etc. traits and characteristics are on a spectrum yet somehow we're supposed to believe sexual orientation and gender are somehow exclusively binary.

None of that has anything to do with evidence based medicine. Maybe feels-based medicine is what yall are looking for. In which case you are no different from the ivermectin and HCQ covid lunatics.

Because it's a dumb exercise to begin with if it's epidemiologists researching it. Do you need epidemiologists to document the number of "straight" cases we have every year and what can be done to treat them?

Rate of Left-Handedness in the US: Stigma & Society - Slow Reveal Graphs

The Latin word for left is "sinistra." It's the origin of the word "sinister." In Ancient Rome, if you were born left-handed, you were presumed to be evil because you were in the minority. Some of that folklore made its way into more modern times hence the graph above - basically forcing southpaws to use their right hand to fit in with the majority. I'm fairly certain that's what you were getting at.

Two years ago in June, the commencement speech at Northwestern University contained this gem:

"The best way to spot an idiot, look for the person who is cruel. Let me explain. When we see someone who doesn't look like us, or sound like us, or act like us, or love like us, or live like us, the first thought that crosses almost everyone's brain is rooted in either fear or judgement or both. That's evolution. We survived as a species by being suspicious of things that we aren't familiar with. In order to be kind, we have to shut down that animal instinct and force our brain to travel a different pathway.

Empathy and compassion are evolved states of being. They require the mental capacity to step past our most primal urges. This may be a surprising assessment because somewhere along the way in the last few years, our society has come to believe that weaponized cruelty is part of some well-thought out Master plan. Cruelty is seen by some as an adroit cudgel to gain power. Empathy and kindness are considered weak. Many important people look at the vulnerable only as rungs on a ladder to the top. I'm here to tell you that when someone's path through this world is marked with acts of cruelty, they have failed the first test of an advanced society. They never forced their animal brain to evolve past its first instinct. They never forged new mental pathways to overcome their own instinctual fears. And so their thinking and problem solving will lack the imagination and creativity that the kindest people have in spades. Over my many years in politics and business, I have found one thing to be universally true. The kindest person in the room is often the smartest."

This is some good shit.

Over the past few years a lot of cranky “Christian libertarians” have fallen under the sway of nut-job anti-American Russophiles.

That’s not what we have here, although he’s been doing an impressive job posing as the former to seduce people into becoming the latter.

Kindness is not found in standing by silently while we inappropriately medicate children with no sound medical evidence basis. It is crazy talk to suggest that compassion is found in false hope and delusions and wishful thinking. The emotive arguments are the realm of ideological driven quackery. This is not an evolved state of being.
