Sounds like there's more to Sark missing Junior Day than the "caught a bug" excuse IT threw out there.

Wasn't his wife having their baby at the time?

Posted
The baby was late March early April and a strong possibility that it is not his.

If the rumor is that a player fathered the child, and that the player is matthew golden, isn’t the father pretty easily confirmed by, you know, looking at the kid?

Its weird that L'Oreal posts on Instagram all the time but never posts photos of the kid. And no public photos exist of the kid outside of some odd black and white photos that don't show the face.

Also to be clear I didn't start the rumor. There were rumors of her and Worthy a while ago and now her and Golden. But given none pf us were Case McCoy in this scenario and it would be difficult to get a DNA test all we can do.

Also odd that they announced the divorce in July then 8 months later had a baby. If the divorce was announced then they were likely privately separated prior to that.

How fucking dare you leave Jordan Hicks off of here. He and Case were Bang Bros

Lots of people don't post their young kids on social media. I don't know if the rumor is true or not, but I do know that unless this affects a recruitment directly i don't care much for this thread becoming a housewife gossiping hub. There are other places for that, all over the football board.

This is fair on all accounts. If others think that this is too much to speculation I'm happy to delete it.

I mean Sark isn’t crushing it this year but it we be pretty hard for all those schools to get coaches better than him during this/any cycle.

Well now we’d also have to combat how much longer Sark will coach here after the rumors from this weekend. But we should give Lamar Brown whatever he wants and tells him he has the chance to come in and compete for a starting spot immediately.

(Justin Wells) Inside Scoop: Lots of news, notes on 2026 Texas commits and recruiting targets

Quote

Inside Texas dives into the latest from the Class of 2026, including Texas commits taking visits and who the Horns will pursue post-Brian Kelly era at LSU in Monday’s Inside Scoop.

Vodney Cleveland, DL, Birmingham (Ala.) Parker – #AllGas26

The 6-foot-2, 300-poind four-star made a trip to North Carolina over the weekend. After catching up with sources, it appears Cleveland is still locked into his Horns commitment. He notified Texas DL coach Kenny Baker before the trip and stays in consistent contact with the Horns. Don’t be surprised to see Cleveland in Austin this weekend for the Vanderbilt game.

Dylan Berymon, DL, Monroe (La.) Ouachita Parish – #AllGas26

One of the Texas commits that was spooked by the Athletic’s report. Berymon was as confused as anyone on Saturday morning. But the Pelican State native as since spoke to the Texas staff and feels confident Steve Sarkisian isn’t going anywhere. Either way, reports like that usually affect a few commits and targets, but Berymon sounds locked in. Purdue and Ole Miss continue to push.

Hayward Howard Jr, CB, New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr – #AllGas26

Howard Jr was in attendance for the LSU-Texas A&M splattering on Saturday night in Death Valley. I’m told there’s nothing to see here as Howard Jr traveled with friends, not family. After the Tigers showing over the weekend, Texas feels good about Howard Jr’s status in UT’s 2026 class.

Havon Finney, CB, Los Angeles (Calif.) Sierra Canyon – LSU commit

One of two major recruits the Horns will push for after Kelly’s dismissal on Sunday. Finney always liked Texas even back in the Spring, but the teammate of five-star commit Richard Wesley is certainly listening to the Horns recruiting pitch. Finney needs to see Austin again, possibly setting up an official visit. Watch USC here too for the reclassified four-star cornerback.

Trenton Henderson, EDGE, Pensacola (Fla.) Pine Forest – LSU commit

The other LSU pledge that Texas will definitely push for is the Sunshine State product. The Horns have been in touch with the uber athletic edge-rusher. Texas definitely wants another EDGE in this cycle, to join Wesley. Henderson chose the Tigers over Texas and Florida. If he reopens his recruitment, we like Texas’ chances here.

Recruiting: 2026 Big Board headed into November

Steve Sarkisian and staff continue to chip away at a number of prospects committed elsewhere headed into November. The staff still has a need at linebacker, offensive tackle and defensive back for sure, and would welcome the flip of an elite wide receiver, defensive tackle or EDGE.

OTF takes a look at the current big board headed into November.

Wide receiver ...
Jalen Lott, WR, Frisco (Texas) Panther Creek - *Oregon commit
OTF ranking: 4-star++
What matters: This will be Texas should Lott decide staying close to home is the deciding factor. Texas' top high school WR target remaining.

Jabari Mack, WR, Destrahan (La.) High - *LSU commit
OTF ranking: 4-star+
What matters: How quickly LSU's next head coach is known will be the key here. Key family member wants LSU.

Offensive tackle ...
Malachi Lee, OT, Honolulu (Hi.) Kamehameha - *Michigan commit
OTF ranking: 4-star++
What matters: Sherrone Moore has performed better than thought this season, to this point. Texas and Lee have talked all season.

Micah Smith, OT, Vero Beach (Fla.) High - *UCLA commit
OTF ranking: 4-star+
What matters: Ohio State should be considered the leader. Texas working to get the 6-5.5, 325-pounder on campus in November.

Defensive line ...
Richard Anderson, DL, New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr - *LSU commit
OTF ranking: 5-star
What matters: Texas simply has to get Anderson on campus in November for this to go anywhere. Texas has been quietly recruiting Anderson all season.

Kendall Guervil, DL, Fort Myers (Fla.)High - *Florida commit
OTF ranking: 4-star+
What matters: Texas has recruiting the 4-star+ Sunshine State prospect the entire season, even after a first game ACL injury. A UOV is likely in November, barring a shift in focus by Texas.

Keith Dotie, DL, Mesquite (Texas) Poteet - *SMU commit
OTF ranking: 3-star++
What matters: Texas hasn't made the big push to this point. It will get interesting if they do. Texas likes his frame to develop as much as anything.

EDGE ...
Trenton Henderson, EDGE, Pensacola (Fla.) Pine Forest - *LSU commit
OTF ranking: 5-star
What matters: Texas lost out the first time around, in part, to the youth in numbers at the EDGE position compared to LSU. That hasn't changed. Florida finished third, and doesn't have a coach. OTF looks for another SEC team or two to emerge in November.

Dre Quinn, EDGE, Buford (Ga.) High
OTF ranking: 4-star+
What matters: Texas and Tennessee were joined in the fight by Ohio State, and the Buckeyes have one in-season UOV and a likely OV to come. Texas is working to get Quinn on campus in November.

Linebacker ...
Karon Maycock, LB, Miami (Fla.) Central - *FSU commit
OTF ranking: 4-star
What matters: Texas will host the 6-2, 205 pound quick and rangy linebacker this weekend on an official visit. OTF believes the South Florida defender is likely to end up somewhere other than FSU.

Defensive back ...
Havon Finney, CB, Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon
OTF ranking: 4-star+
What matters: Texas is working to get Finney on campus in November. The Longhorns offered early in the process, but never gained a lot of traction.

Toray Davis, DB, Boulder (Co.) Fairview
OTF ranking: 4-star
What matters: Texas is hosting Davis and family this weekend for UOV. This visit will determine if there is a return official visit trip. This weekend is all about the staff getting to know Davis and family. Davis made an OV to Washington last weekend.

Who did we recruit that’s committed to LSU? Off the top of my head I have

Lamar Brown

Trenton Henderson

Jabari Mack

Harlem Berry and Trenton Henderson.

We came in second with both recruitment. Time for Scott and Sark to make up for their portal RB fuck up and get on the phone with Berry.

Henderson visited Texas twice before committing to LSU, so we are the perceived frontrunner for him per OTF, I believe.

Jabari Mack is option #2 after Lott.

Can any of those guys play C or LG?

Don't worry, we have at least 8 more 3* big humans just waiting in the wings. I'm sure the likes of Jackson Christian, Devin and Jordan Coleman, and the enigma himself, Cojoe might be old enough to play. If Chatman comes back, he might be able to play RG, but he'll have to fight off 3* Nate Kibble. I think I even saw Stroh playing RG when Campbell got hurt, which tells me Sark and Flood have learned nothing since plugging in true freshman Nick Brooks to LG, even though he's never played guard. But hey, I'm sure it'll all work out.

The Longhorns went into the weekend sitting on Rivals No. 5 ranked recruiting class with a few flip targets in town.
Miami (Fla.) Central linebacker and Florida State commit Karon Maycock is on his official visit to Austin.
“So far I’m loving it,” Maycock said. “Feels great. Great players and coaches.”
Coming into the trip Maycock said “whatever happens, happens” and “just gotta make the best decision for me.”
The Longhorns are making Maycock think that Texas could be the right decision.
“They produce every position to the league and the coaching is great,” Maycock also said prior to the visit.
Rivals Sam Spiegelman reported that two more huge flip targets were visiting Texas in Baylor Top100 defensive line target Jamarion Carlton and LSU Rivals300 offensive tackle commit Brysten Martinez.
There have been times in Carlton’s process where Texas looked like his leader and they’re working to make another run at him.
“The vibe was good and the Longhorns are a good team and it’s always fun to watch the defense get after it,” Carlton said.
Carlton has always given Texas high marks.
“The Longhorns have a great reputation of producing dogs and I’m glad that I have the opportunity to be with the Longhorns,” he said after a previous visit.
Texas had some elite 2027s in town. None more coveted than Rivals No. 1 receiver in five-star Easton Royal.
“I was very impressed,” Royal said. “From the first play of the game going 75 yards and the offense looked smooth with the run game was working good and Arch (Manning) looked comfortable and played one of his better games. And the receivers played good too and it may have been worse for Vandy if Texas didn’t lost three of their starting receivers. It looked like they were poised to put well over 35 points (on the board0 and the defense came out the gate playing amazing.
“And another thing I loved was that they made sure I talked to the head track coach here which I will pursue going into college as well and they have been the only college to do so making it a priority.”
Royal added Texas is a “strong contender.”

Martinez does not seem like an equal replacement for Lee. LSU's lower ranked guy looked better on tape.

4-star LSU commit Texas visit update

Four-star offensive tackle Brysten Martinez (Gonzales, La./East Ascension) made a 36 hour unofficial visit to Texas over the weekend.

In speaking with a source, OnTexasFootball can report that the initial takeaways were that Texas WILL have a shot in the recruitment. What exactly that means, we will hear more about in the next 24 hours.

The 6-foot-6, 305-pounder, and a number of LSU commits, are in a tough spot with the early signing period December 3-5. Any LSU pledges having second thoughts could have to work on blind faith in regard to who the next LSU head coach will be, depending on how long the search plays out.

Texas offered Martinez May 1, 2024 after a Kyle Flood visit and in person evaluation. At the time, the Longhorns worked to get him on campus. But that was an uphill battle with the home state LSU Tigers always a heavy leader.

And a note on Vero Beach High 4-star OT Micah Smith ...
OTF spoke with a person in Vero Beach, Fla. very close to the recruitment. Smith is not expected to make an OV to Texas. This recruitment is trending heavily to Ohio State over Tennessee, despite the current UCLA commitment. Smith made an OV to Tennessee this weekend.

Recruiting Tidbits | Jamarion Carlton - Vogel

Jamarion Carlton Visit

The Baylor edge commit was back on campus Saturday for the first time since his pledge in July. Texas was quite a ways away from the NIL offer made by the Bears at the time of the commitment, but the interest in the Horns remains from Carlton's side.

Keep an eye here. Baylor sits at 5–4 on the season, and while the NIL offer was one that was clearly hard to say no to, there are other factors here that lean in favor of the Longhorns should they give the green light.

Longhorns Monitoring 2026 CB Johnathan Joseph Jr.

***

Texas hosted a new 2026 Houston Stratford cornerback target Johnathan Joseph Jr. for an unofficial visit on Saturday for the Vanderbilt game.

The son of legendary Houston Texan CB Johnathan Joseph Sr., the Houston Stratford star has been seeing time at cornerback, safety and wide receiver in 2025 and has been rising up boards as a senior eval. Joseph was recently at UNLV and holds an offer from Boston College, UCF and Arkansas State as well.

Texas cornerbacks coach Mark Orphey will be in Houston on Wednesday and Thursday making rounds in the area and will be stopping by Stratford to check back in with Joseph Jr.

Will keep an eye on this one moving forward. Texas has not shied away about finding an additional cornerback in the class of 2026.

2026 DL Dylan Berymon Re-Opens Recruitment

By CJ Vogel

Texas loses a commitment from one of its 2026 defensive linemen.

Ouchita Parish (La.) DL Dylan Berymon tweeted late Tuesday evening he would be re-opening his recruitment.

Berymon had been flirting with other SEC programs with Ole Miss being the biggest contender.

Berymon committed to the Longhorns on June 7th after his official visit in the summer. Now, Texas moves forward with 20 commits in the 2026 class, with Corey Wells, Vodney Cleveland, and James Johnson as members of the defensive line haul.

IT just put out an update about Berrymon:

Quote

UPDATE (10:16pm):

Just caught up with Berymon. At this moment, he’s unsure if he’s in Texas’ 2026 class. He told Inside Texas he’s trying to get some stuff cleared and he’ll know more tomorrow. He says he’s fully committed at this time.

We’re unsure if it’s grades, a flip, or bigger fish on the line.

I can confirm with @CharlieWilliams that LSU DL commit Richard Anderson will take an UOV to Texas this month.

The DL number is most likely four in this cycle for Texas.

---
A little surprised but not really since the Monroe (La.) Ouachita Parish DT had been taking visit to Ole Miss and Purdue.

Don’t be surprised to see him back in Oxford soon.
