What makes you think the parliamentary information didn't come from British intelligence? And Birawi winning judgements in civil court doesn't mean anything, he publicly supported Hamas before Oct 7th, and he publicly supported Hamas after Oct 7th. He is an agent.

I haven't been following this closely, but is there any evidence that the parliamentary information came from British intelligence?

Evidence? Is this a courtroom, or a classroom? Lawyer-ball isn't going to cut anymore.

My question was more about how you phrased yours.  You asked, "What makes you think the parliamentary information didn't come from British intelligence"?  My question back to you was essentially, "what makes you think the parliamentary information came from British intelligence?"

That it came from a British parliamentarian? British Intelligence would have access and motive to to surveil on home turf.

Again, I haven't been following this story so I don't know the details.  To which member of Parliament are you referring?  What is the underlying story?  I was under the impression from your comment that this accusation was being made by the Israelis based on presumably Israeli intelligence.

The guy seems like a real straight shooter and a class act.

I’m just super glad that we went in the “no more hawkish neocons” direction. Of course, being that we chose the “insane criminal autocrats creating repeated/endless war to cement their grip on power” direction as the alternative…maybe not a real good move there.

This may not be the thread for it but shit seems about ready to go down in Iran

Its likely to go down but not all the embassies are evacuated.  Baghdad is sending home non-essential staff.  Bahrain and Kuwait are offering evac to families if they want it.

No idea if true.

Probably needs a new thread at this point but it seems like the no new wars admin is about to send us face first into a war with Iran.

Reading between the lines with these developments and based on Iran’s tone reportedly shifting in negotiations, Iran may have finally reached the tipping point on enrichment to weapons grade and Israel has decided it’s now or never. Either that or this is one big final bluff to get a deal.

'member when there was a deal in place to keep Iran from doing just that, which entitled us to oversight and access to verify their compliance? Who was the genius that tore that up, only to try and put it back together again?

*That Iran was fully compliant with and even tried to remain compliant with after the deal was torn up for no fucking reason.

Iran is not a part of that "no more new wars" thing.

I don’t understand how this became the repository for “I have such bad TDS that I’m gonna apologize for the fucking Iranians”, but here we are. Can we please stop pretending under more competent leadership, the Iranians behaved?  They did not.

Yes, I am sure the Iranians fully complied just like North Korea would and Russia and China.

But we know who in here would rather see Iran win in this argument to spite our President.

Umm, can you point to a single post which you would characterize as "apologiz[ing] for the fucking Iranians", much less the repository for such posts? I see posts and tweets saying Iran was compliant with the previous deal (which Trump nullified), seems like you are saying they weren't? Independent bodies seem like they think Iran complied. @WineGuy69 - you also. Any actual evidence to say the UN nuclear watchdog is wrong or just "my team says so"?

Evac in case of war hits close to my family’s homes.
Mom & brothers were evacuated Stateside from Alaska in 1942 because of the japanese invasion & occupation of some Aleutian Islands.
When I was in junior high school in Taipei during the 1958 Taiwan Strait Crisis, we were packed up and ready to evacuate immediately in case the Chicoms were actually going to invade the island 10 miles from our neighborhood.

I  am hard pressed to find anyone here who would need an excuse to spite our President, based on the fact that he is a criminal piece of shit.

Likely to be now some more ordered departures. Israel says the operation will last “weeks.”

See below. And the current team isn’t my team. The only ones talking about teams are you and the two posts below.

Yes.

What? I'm just stating a verifiable fact, it has nothing to do with apologia for the Iranian regime. It's just things that happened during the first Trump admin.

It's relevant.

There the bomb bomb bomb... bomb Iran thread.

That one is in the Cloak Room and was about the US possibly bombing Iran. Just change the title then to the "Israel's Catch-All Wars Thread" or something.
