So, let me read that the way that a war crimes tribunal should read it:

"So, your defense against the charge that you committed war crimes against civilian residents of Belligerent X is 'well, I wouldn't have war crimed all of those civilians if Belligerent X woulda just surrendered.'"

Yeah, not only is that not a defense, it is actually an admission that you are 1) using war crimes and the threat of continuing to commit war crimes to 2) coerce Belligerent X into acceding to your demands.

This is impressive.  You've actually managed to make yourself out to be MORE of a piece of shit scumbag who supports war crimes.  You are as awful a human being as can be imagined.  Hell is too good for people like you.

Yeah….. I’d call the IDF soldiers posting videos on TikTok celebrating shooting by kids terrorism.  Actually, it’s worse.  It’s another level of sick on par with the Nazi’s and their horrible atrocities.  Using aid as bait to shoot starving people is plain evil.  That isn’t war and that isn’t defending yourself.

There's unfortunately plenty of evidence of the IDF targeting civilians, including women and children. There's plenty of evidence of IDF targeting journalists and aid workers. There's plenty of evidence that Netanyahu purposefully helped Hamas take and keep power in Gaza to prevent a unified government in Gaza and the West Bank. Hamas sucks, but so does Israel when they indiscriminately, and even purposefully, kill innocent civilians.

100% agree.  It’s not like you have to pick one extreme side.  There is a very reasonable option where Israel can go into Gaza and attack sites where Hamas is hiding.  Hell they can even send some of those precise missiles they used to target Iran leaders thousands of miles away.  Their intelligence is so spot on, they killed leaders in Iran that were hiding without much of any civilian casualties.  But they can’t seem to find Hamas right next to them and have to flatten an entire population? I’m sure the Palestinian people would like nothing more to get rid of the terrorist organization that has cost them their lives and homes.   The Palestinian Authority opposed the Qatar funding of Hamas that Netanyahu so very much encouraged and allowed.

Stopping this war would require Netanyahu to actually want to get rid of Hamas.  If Hamas were to be defeated, then who else could he fund to create conflict to give him an excuse to perform the ethnic cleansing the extreme orthodox Zionist party has been talking and parroting long before October 7th.

Wait, I thought this was about Hamas?  Israel would never use force and killing to push people out of their homes to take their land.  I mean just ask these IDF soldiers why they are at war.   Also, any thoughts on Israel paying private contractors $1500 for each home they demolish and clear which is happening right now.  I wonder what their plans are to do with that land?  I’m sure it’s to give it back the civilians that lived there right?

Latest Israeli attack on Gaza hospital a ‘systematic crime’

We’ve been reporting on Israeli raids on Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza.

The Government Media Office condemned the attack, calling it a “systematic crime” against the Palestinian enclave’s health system.

“Its warplanes bombed a tent for the displaced inside the walls of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, resulting in injuries at the site of the bombing, material damage, and directly threatening the lives of dozens of patients,” it said.

It was the 12th time the hospital had been attacked since Israel launched its war on Gaza in 2023.

Israel steps up Gaza bombardment ahead of White House talks on ceasefire | Reuters

CAIRO/JERUSALEM, June 30 (Reuters) - Palestinians in northern Gaza reported one of the worst nights of Israeli bombardment in weeks after the military issued mass evacuation orders on Monday, while Israeli officials were due in Washington for a new ceasefire push by the Trump administration.

A day after U.S. President Donald Trump urged an end to the 20-month-old war, a confidant of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was expected at the White House for talks on a Gaza ceasefire, Iran, and possible wider regional diplomatic deals.

Israel eyes ties with Syria and Lebanon after Iran war | Reuters

Quote

JERUSALEM, June 30 (Reuters) - Israel is interested in establishing formal diplomatic relations with long-standing adversaries Syria and Lebanon, but the status of the Golan Heights is non-negotiable, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said on Monday.

Israeli leaders argue that with its rival Iran weakened by this month's 12-day war, other countries in the region have an opportunity to forge ties with Israel.

I don't see how they think that either of these countries wants to negotiate with them, considering they are still indiscriminately bombing Lebanon and the entire world still considers their occupation of the Golan Heights to be 100% illegal, which it is.

Some bizarro world shit going on in the West Bank with Settlers attacking an IDF base because a Jewish teen was shot with a rubber bullet. The officer who shot the kid thought he was a Palestinian, but he was a part of a Settler group that was attacking the officer with rocks. It’s believed members of this same group may have also been some of the same ones who rampaged through a Palestinian camp last week, in which the IDF somehow ended up killing three Palestinians.

At least, I think that’s what was going on, but I’m going to need a diagram, flowchart, or something to be sure. The story is kind of hard to follow, but it's clear the Settlers are out of control, and it's incredible how much they get away with.

AP has a report out.

22 killed as Israeli forces fire on Palestinians in Gaza seeking food aid, witnesses say
CAIRO (AP) — Israeli forces killed at least 22 people and wounded 20 others, many while attempting to get desperately needed food aid in southern Gaza on Monday, according to witnesses, hospitals, and Gaza’s Health Ministry.

Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis said it received the bodies of 11 people who were shot while returning from an aid site associated with Israeli and U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Fund in southern Gaza, part of a deadly pattern that has killed more than 500 Palestinians in the chaotic and controversial aid distribution program over the past month. Ten others were killed at a United Nations aid warehouse in northern Gaza, according to the Health Ministry.

The southern Gaza strike happened around 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) from the GHF site in the city of Khan Younis, as Palestinians returned from the site along the only accessible route. Palestinians are often forced to travel long distances to access the GHF hubs in hopes of obtaining aid.

Witnesses recount firings by troops
Yousef Mahmoud Mokheimar was walking along with dozens others when he saw troops in vehicles and tanks racing toward them. At the beginning they fired warning shots in air, before firing at the crowds, he said.

“They fired at us indiscriminately,” he said, adding that he was shot in his leg, and a man was also shot while attempting to rescue him.

He said he saw troops detaining six people, including three children, and it wasn’t clear what happened to them. “We don’t know whether they are still alive,” he said.

Monzer Hisham Ismail, another witness, said troops attacked the crowds while returning from the GHF hub in eastern Khan Younis.

“We were returning from the American aid hub … we were targeted by (the Israeli) artillery,” he said.

Nasser Hospital said another person was killed near a GHF hub in the southern city of Rafah.

The Israeli military said it was reviewing information about the attacks. In the past, the military has said it fires warning shots at people who move suspiciously or get too close to troops, including while collecting aid.

Israel wants the GHF to replace a system coordinated by the United Nations and international aid groups. Along with the United States, Israel has accused the militant Hamas group of stealing aid and using it to prop up its rule in the enclave. The U.N. denies there is systematic diversion of aid.

The Israeli military said it had recently taken steps to improve organization in the area, including the installation of new fencing, signage and the opening of additional routes to access aid.

Israel says it only targets militants and blames civilian deaths on Hamas, accusing the militants of hiding among civilians because they operate in populated areas.

Strikes in and around Gaza City intensify
In northern Gaza, at least 10 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike on an aid warehouse in Gaza City, according to the Health Ministry’s ambulance and emergency service. It wasn’t immediately clear whether there was aid at the warehouse.

The strike in Gaza City came as the military intensified its bombardment campaign across the city and the nearby Jabaliya refugee camp. On Sunday and Monday, Israel issued widespread evacuation orders for large swaths of northern Gaza.

Palestinians reported massive bombing overnight into Monday morning, describing the fresh attacks as a “scorched earth” campaign that targeted mostly empty buildings and civilian infrastructure above the ground.

“They destroy whatever left standing … the sound of bombing hasn’t stopped,” said Mohamed Mahdy, a Gaza City resident who fled his damaged house Monday morning.

Fares Awad, head of the Health Ministry’s emergency and ambulance services in northern Gaza, said that most of Gaza City and Jabaliya have become inaccessible and ambulances were unable to respond to distress calls from people trapped in the rubble.

The Israeli military said it had taken multiple steps to notify civilians of operations to target Hamas’ military command and control centers in northern Gaza.

Senior Israeli Army Officers Admit 'Uncalculated' Fire on Gaza Aid Seekers After Haaretz Expose - Israel News - Haaretz.com

At least 10 said killed in new shooting near Gaza aid site | The Times of Israel

Quote

Media outlets in Gaza report that at least 10 people were killed and 50 wounded by Israeli army fire in the area of a humanitarian aid distribution center in western Rafah, where distribution hubs of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation are located.

Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis announced that 13 people arrived at the hospital and were pronounced dead.

No footage of the incident itself has yet been published, though videos showing the wounded receiving treatment at Nasser Hospital have been released.

The IDF has not yet issued a response.

GHF told the Time of Israel they were unaware of any shooting incidents near their sites.

There have been repeated instances of Palestinians being shot near aid distribution sites. The IDF says it is investigating but has denied that troops are ordered to open fire on civilians.

Classic New York Times of Israel running cover for the IDF. Reminder that Haaretz already exposed this and Bibi has been crying like a little bitch over it.

I’d love to be optimistic about any agreement that curtails the violence and deaths and brings peace and prosperity to that region of the world but it’s been such a part of all of our lives it’s hard to see there will be any end in sight. To me it’s not political. It’s a vital thing to bring about this peace and Idgaf who brings it about. Anyway it was shocking to learn someone I know had lost a loved one to this ever going conflict that makes us all want to rip our hair out. ✌️

That really sucks. I have some extended family members with kids in the IDF right now. They don't want their children to be a part of this but they have no choice.

Unfortunately, it is political, and the only real long-term solutions are ultimately political.
