Atta boy Pressly.

Another L

Martinez gets the L

And if Abreu catches a groundball Pressly leaves with the lead.

Someone here a few weeks ago said we need to chill the hell out because we’ll be .500 by the end of April.

Might take until mid-May now

Wow, what a terrible way to lose a game. Abreu error is what did it, can't blame the pitchers when idiots don't field a routine ground ball that leads to 2 runs.

In all fairness, that ball took a wicked hop.  But, fuck Abreu anyway.

That’s gonna be an incredible run from April 19-May 31 after we start 8-12

Man 8-12 sounds so sexy right now.

but seriously, I’m not at all surprised—and expected—the rough start given the schedule but 6-14 is brutal. sure wish we could have 1 at least one game against the royals and Braves.

Just stop finding news way to lose.….or even stop the old ways.

man, I know it was a funny hop but Abreu is just killing this team right now

along with Pressly and Hader

But hey, Abreu’s mood never changes.

Didn't Julia or one of the guys said it as a positive?

We’re just bad at all the things you can’t be bad at. Driving guys in when we have ducks on the pond, sp is only good if the bats are working and if not the it sucks and bullpen is the same thing. We just can’t get anything clicking the same time. Maybe it will turn around? I hope so or we will be drafting in the top 5 of the draft next year.

Hey, hey, ho, ho

Jose Abreu has to go

I think I heard there’s about 40 mil left on his contract.

Has any team ever eaten that amount anywhere near that?

We should be the first.

I know it would be controversial, but Trevor Bauer's suspension from the MLB should end this month. We need to be on the phone with him.

Quote

Bauer's suspension, if it holds through the appeal process, would last until the 19th game of the 2024 season, by which point his three-year contract with the Dodgers will have expired. The Dodgers would save the $28-plus million that remains on his contract in 2022 and the full $32 million on his contract in 2023. Bauer was immediately placed on the restricted list and can't be around the team, even with a grievance hearing pending. The Dodgers are not allowed to release Bauer until after his suspension ends.

Had the pleasure of attending yet another loss today. I haven't seen a home win in person in ages. This one at least actually felt good for a while. When it was still tied with 2 outs in the Top of the 10th, I thought we might finally break the cycle. When you're the home team and hold the visitor scoreless in extras, you have a very good chance of winning in the bottom. Nope.

It never fails lately. On any given night, 1/3 of the team doesn't show up, and just badly enough to lose. Either the starting pitching doesn't make it out of the 3rd with under 5 runs, bullpen shits the bed in the 8th or later, or bats never show up.

Fucking Groundhog Day:

Starting pitching good =  We lose 2-1 or 7-1 (6 runs scored after 8th inning)

Stating pitching mediocre = We lose 5-2 (We get a 2 run lead in the 1st, never get man past 2nd base through next 8 innings).

Starting pitching bad - We give up 11 through 3 and eventually lose 12-7.

Extra Innings = Guaranteed Loss.
