Build your program through recruiting?

Recruit top-end talent?

Who knew that would facilitate success?

Why didn’t we think of that?!

What's absurd about the take that someone flushing their roster into the portal is some sort of negative, coming from the aggie regime, is that they likely have convinced themselves that they didn't, in fact, just do that.

Now, some of it was flushed by the roster itself, and some of it was Elko flushing it like one of his post-binge drinking grumpies, but it was flushed nonetheless.

On top of that, they're doing it again in this cycle. They're aggressively throwing NIL at recruits and being parsimonious with their current players, sending the message to many of them that they need to hit the fucking road in December.

Hard to argue against the strategy with the Charlie Weis pile of crap special that they are fielding this year.

It's the Elko Dance. It's over. The sleeping giant is sitting up and yawning. The sun rises.

The swell of emotion over the 2026 class should, for some reason, really get the 2025 rollercoaster cranked up with every seat full.

Yup. They’ve got uniforms and everything. It’s really great.

I hear they also have a band. And the band is on the field.

The avoidance of mentioning Texas, specifically when referencing Turntine's recruitment, is so delicious.

All of this recruiting madness this year sets the stage for higher roller coasting for years to come.

Well, peak roller coasting was Jimbo. I'm not sure Elko has the same potential. But Aggie is Aggie, so roller coasting is exactly what they're going to do. See baseball this year.

A&M beats Texas on another one! Oh my gosh! What are we going to do? I hope our OL class turns out okay! Maybe Krempin scares Turntine off from A&M. I sure hope so! Otherwise we have no chance against this mighty recruiting juggernaut Elko is building.

I read political and entertainment news fairly frequently. I'm always quick to pick up on what I think is rose glass over commit take on a subject, conservative take and a hedge. It's not difficult to do so.

This, this right fucking here is a master class piece on on the over commit sunshine hedge. Maybe, possibly, but then we know if ands or but because sometimes, and yet!!! For sure, and you know for sure means probably but...

No disrespect to the young man for taking a scholarship to Aggie, but not a single “Alpha” program recruited/offered him.

Good group of O linemen no doubt.  They'll still go 8-4.

Also, "Maroon Goons".  Cringe.

So good they couldn't get one yard in three tries against Texas.

Yes, William, it's part of the sunshine pumping campaign that is based in generating delusions of relevance. Even though these influencers do indeed brainwash Longhorns, their  toxic dreamweaving is largely designed to convince Aggies that guys who chose A&M didn't actually choose A&M.

We would have taken Krempin, Edwards, and Roseborough.  Good gets that we wanted.  It stinks, but you can also look at it as between the two programs, which position coach at aggy would you take over one at Texas to develop?  I can't think of one.

Of course they’ll get some we wanted and vice versa , but I never think to myself “ everyone wanted this kid , don’t let team so and so tell you different “. They wonder why they’re lil brother. Who cares what team wanted player a or b, let’s roll

Yeah, I only care about that because I don't trust our recruiting reporters evaluations. Oh, Kirby wanted him on the DL? Cool cool cool

For OOS recruits, us, Ohio State, and Georgia are the big three for seeing if they're a serious bluechip. And if tOSU or UGA offer a kid in Texas, I'd hope we're looking closely at them.

Just using this quote as a reminder about the 5 star GA edge that aTm just got to commit who Georgia couldnt even bother to offer…

Only guys that I recall by name I would have liked to have gotten are Roseborough and Edwards (half because it ends the do we actually need a RB this class debate - I'm in the no, we don't camp). I see Krempin as a development project. He's going to need greatly increased lower body strength and build to block any elite EDGE in SEC. We've all seen how aggy doesn't develop any positions other than RB. Glad we didn't go nuts to get him. Hoping Lee will fall our way. Doesn't sound like it will so Ojo and JTIII sound great to me.

Look how many of their guys had to reshape their bodies for draft hopefuls after the Moffet fat up program and lack of production from a "super star" DL.

Does anyone have opinions on Max Wright? He's certainly big but is he OT starter material with some work? Or move inside?
