he's less than a year out of college, he does not need to play 162 games. 100 or so is about right imo

Cam needs reps more than anything else right now, sitting him on the bench every other day is not helping his development . If he isn’t going to get every day ABs then we should send him down.

No matter how much yall try to talk us into being anything more that mediocre at best after every win, this team is .500 at best and I have zero faith that this GM and by extension owner, will do anything to make it better. We are at least one and probably two bats away from being good. It would take a creative SOB to get that done and @Wulaw Horn ain’t walkin through that GM door.

I think I could do better as a  in managing the players involved but I’d suck as a scout. All that said I believe we are winning 90+. Just like I told everyone last two years in May and June we were winning the division.

Aw, come on, Putt. The reason they started the season with him in the bigs was the chance that he might be that unicorn, earn Rookie of the Year, and they’d get an extra high draft choice.

Obviously not happening, also obvious is that he needs to get a lot of at bats - good or bad - while he learns to hit against increased competition.

If you are a shit team? Sure, put him in the MLB lineup every day.

If you are serious about contending for the 11th year in a row, he’s in AAA while he figures it out.

We need Yordan back in this lineup doing typical Yordan things.

I remember when Yordan signed that deal how there were some in the Houston media who believed the Astros screwed up and didn't sign him for a long enough period of time.

Why does it feel like that isn't the issue at this time?

Seriously, is this a lack of proper nutrition growing up in Cuba thing or why can a guy that big and strong not stay in the line up?

I have no idea but there is always a group of players that could be greats if they could avoid the injured list. I don’t think it relates to growing up in Cuba. I would guess Yordan puts the work in to stay healthy.

i was listening to a podcast this week discussing Corey Seager and his inability to stay in the lineup. He and Yordan just may be naturally more injury prone.
