pressley is better then our worst bp arm

if he clears waivers, claim him if we can stay under the tax cap

Disagree. He’s a -0.7 WAR player who’s lost it and is now a gas can. Let some other team have him.

Because I would always want Verlander on my team. I’d rather have him pitching than Costanza

I’d rather have Arrighetti, Javier, Garcia, France, LMJ and Ulolla before Verlander.

5 of those are injured, so.....JV wouldn't exactly be taking their spot

Get him some glasses and let the wild thing loose in the playoff bullpen

Not in Hall of Fame - Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn

John and Lance this morning said they way they negotiated Correa's money and which players they sent out, Astros are now $34k below tax threshold. I doubt they add anyone else.

I don’t believe that. I saw 251M. Those guys that say shit like that always get wrong the fact that you need to count benefits. I want a better source than those goofs (I like them- this ain’t their lane).

Fuck a Roku game. Can you download their app on Apple TV or is it available on MLB.tv? Roku had several games of Euro 2024 which sucked.

Earlier this season to watch one of the Roku games, I was able to get the game in my internet browser on my phone and shared the screen to my Appletv. It was a pain in the ass but ultimately worked.

And its on appletv wooooo

People can talk shit or rage, but this is the best quality broadcast going these days, especially with the hometown radio broadcast option for audio.

MLB.tv with the radio broadcast option is the only way I consume Astros baseball

I don't disagree, but MLB.tv is blacked out where I live and MLB keeps figuring out the VPNs.

MLB.tv with the radio broadcast option is the only way I consume Astros baseball

Its especially clutch for the national FOX games and postseason when I get to avoid Davis and Smoltz

MLB.tv down to $35 for the rest of the year, including postseason

Dumb question but if Parades gets healthy would he likely go back to 3rd and Corella go to second?

the reverse - Paredes to second.

Maybe we should see how he recovers from this hamstring because the Astros already have one second baseman with the lateral range of a rock.

This lineup has me half chub, alvarez will take me all the way

No offense but that’s a fucked up fetish if a lineup with Taylor Trammell and/or Dubon in it gets one full chubbed.

I think ideal postseason lineup this year looks like:

Pena SS

Altuve 2B

Yordan DH

Correa 3B

Sanchez LF

Diaz C

Walker 1B

Smith RF

Meyers CF

(quibble however you want on the order of 6-9)

Caratini late inning PH

Dubon and Urias late inning PH/ defensive replacement

They say that. I think it ends up Correa at 2B. Paredes is fat and the rumor is his mobility is fucked forever.

Correa's throw coming from 2nd will put a hole through Walker

He won’t throw those hard but he will hit Pena with a fastball or uncork on the double play when it’s 6-4-3

If West Palm Beach isn't a suburb of Boston or a rehab clinic after surgery then I don't give a shit where Yordan is because we know where he isn't and that is all that matter right now.
