C'mon Burns, hold on and win your match!!!

If he does, there will always be an asterisk on it over the fake Hovland injury.

I'd like for Bradley to have 'almost' lost the cup. With higher ogwr ranked players.

donald had the much more experienced team and better team. everyone knew it.  basically the exact same players as Rome. he almost blew the largest Sunday lead ever.

I don't think anyone on their side gives a shit they 'almost' blew it. Whip so much ass Fri and Sat, Sunday 'almost' didn't matter.

They can't hear the moral victory over the champagne corks popping.

Or...today's matches proved US had the better players. Maybe Keegan could learn a thing or two about how Luke built his team to get more out of them than Keegan did from his players.

US had the deeper team and I think Rory, Tommy, Rahm and even Rose having to carry 4 sessions caught up to them today and they went 0-4.

There wouldn't have been an asterisk. Rules were established.

They just need to change that stupid rule.

as it relates to ryder cup I don't think US had the deeper team at all but the top of the US team failed miserably.

no astrick, it's a good rule

one change - the capt with the non injured player can make one change to his sunday line up

I think they should have an alternate who can play once in the team sessions and can be used in the singles, in case of injury, so it is decided on the course.

Or give a half to the team that isn’t injured and 0 to the team that is injured. No way should you get positive points for getting injured.

We can still win if Mike Pence has the courage

I’m sure this sounded cool in your head, tough guy. Sorry for your feelings. Maybe you can storm the capital or something.

Excellent read and pulls no punches.

I don't know. He talks about a whole lot of stuff that doesn't really matter and the pairing of Morikawa/English was a legit criticism but here is the money quote below.  Guess what it's the courses and the horses.  The rest of it is all sideshows, IMO.  you drive for show and putt for dough and it will almost always be that way. the course set up was stupid and the rain made it more stupider...

Bethpage’s setup reduced any ballstriking advantage the U.S. might have had and turned this Ryder Cup into a putting contest…against the guys who always out-putt them!

Bethpage greens wayyy too receptive. I have no idea what they were thinking.

It's called rain.

Also, a harder, more penalizing course benefits Europe. They fare better with tight fairways, higher rough, and rock hard greens. A course where you can just bomb and gouge, like this week, generally benefits the US. Yet.... Here we are.

he was in over his head compared to the machine / system team euro has in place ...

Q: "What went into the decision with the course setup, particularly the short rough? Did the data and your team set up for that short rough?"

Keegan Bradley: "We tried to set the course up to help our team. Obviously it wasn't the right decision. I think anytime you're the leader of a team or the captain or the coach, or whatever, we talked about this last night, you're going to get the accolades and you need to take the blame for when things don't go well. I definitely made a mistake on the course setup. I should have listened a little bit more to my intuition. For whatever reason, that wasn't the right way to set the course up. The greens were as soft as I've ever seen greens without it raining. Especially here, it can get pretty firm, and they never firmed up."

1) I disagree.

2) We've lost a shit ton of Rider Cups with the better players.

Consider it done. Can you be a little more specific about when it will all be over for me?  I want to make the most of the time I have left with your mom.

There were no hazards on the course. The only water in play is on the 8th hole. The first cut of rough was a pristine lie. Even the second cut was never an issue.

It's malpractice not to try and create some sort of advantage for your squad through research/analytics.

All teams have agreed to this for almost 50 fucking years. It's almost never been utilized, and it's NEVER had an impact on the overall result.

Be a bitch if you want to. Have it removed. It won't make one bit of difference.
