No idea how accurate this is but would be interesting if we start seeing PMCs around Moscow.

"There are not enough police in Moscow anymore, with mass resignations and desertions. Putin retains his personal security army, not for the benefit of Moscow residents. Now Armored vehicles of the private military contractor, Metropolitan (PMC Sobyanin) - with all the heraldry of Moscow. They have been deployed by personal order of the mayor."

Is that boat zigging and zagging and putting out a smoke screen?

Russians be stupid. Smoke screen on a boat going 20-30 mph. All they are doing is putting up a huge “kill me” sign. Some generals BIL must make the smoke canisters.

Interesting. Those Tomahawks seem to scare them.

“ Moscow could retaliate by striking American cities” is Russian for “if my aunt had balls, she could be my uncle…”

We maybe decades removed from the Soviet Union, but damned if the apparatchiks aren't still around, toadying up to whoever is in power.

One of Trump’s “spiritual advisors”, one of the major ones.  This stuff is good (not the destruction but the talk of it being evil, Biblical, etc.). It pushes back against the narrative some push about Russia being the good guys.

This morning, we were once again reminded of the unrelenting cruelty being unleashed on the innocent people of Ukraine.

At 10:39 a.m. on October 11, a Russian warplane dropped a guided KAB-250 bomb directly onto the town of Kostiantynivka in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk region. The explosion struck Svobody Avenue.

Two lives were lost, and four others wounded. Among the severely wounded was a devoted priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. He was inside the St. Job of Pochaiv Church, offering shelter to a 4-year-old child whose mother had just died and was buried near the church days prior. The sanctuary itself, a place meant to protect life and offer peace, was damaged in the blast.

This is not just an act of war. It is an act of evil. It is a strike against innocence, faith, and the very idea of sanctuary. A priest, a grieving child, a house of God, violently attacked in one brutal moment.

As a Spiritual Diplomat, I cannot stay silent. This is not just a military crisis. It is a moral one. Russia’s war machine is not only destroying homes, it is desecrating sacred spaces and tearing at the very soul of humanity.

To all people of faith and conscience: I urge you to speak out. Share this story. Let the world know what is happening. Let policymakers, interfaith leaders, and every spiritual diplomat across the globe rise up and demand justice. We must not grow numb. We must not let darkness have the final word.

Beavis And Butthead Comedy GIF by Paramount+

Hitting production, hitting pipelines, hitting stored fuel.  Keeping it up day after day.  Gonna be some long lines in Crimea and a lot of black market profits.

Also doesn’t bode well for Russians in Crimea if air defenses aren’t shutting this stuff down.

The problem for Crimea is that Russia is struggling to make radars and ammo for what little air defenses that they have left and Ukraine  keeps reminding them that if they try to move more there, unfortunately things go boom in other parts of Russia that they actually give a shit about.

Its going to be a long cold winter in Russia and I would not be shocked to see everyone that isn't directly tied to the military to head east over the Kerch bridge to hopefully hide somewhere that might have fuel and heat this winter.

President Trump might finally be throwing the Ukrainians a bone, as the US may begin providing the precision targeting intelligence for strikes deep inside Russia. This marks a major shift in US policy on Ukraine. Let's zoom out first. For decades, US presidents would avoid actions that could spike global energy prices. Well, that held true through Trump's first term and until Biden left office, but Trump 2 has shaken things up.

The erratic policy implemented by the Trump administration has been hard to follow, but the Russians have gotten more favorable treatment so far.

Things now seem to be shifting. Trump realized that Putin had been playing him this whole time, so Trump may finally be switching up policy. Couple this pivot with Ukraine's recent strikes on Russian energy infrastructure and we could see Russian oil exports crippled very soon. This means Russia's main source of funding for the war would quickly dry up. Places like China and Iran will have to decide if they want to bankroll Moscow without any incentives…

Yeesh, in that picture, there’s part of someone’s hand on the steps.

Sure, but wasn’t he also quoted today saying that he would consult Putin on whether to provide Tomahawks to UKR?!

This is very much a “believe it when I see it” scenario…
