Why isn’t he in prison for attempting a coup like Bolsonaro?

Well, see, Brazil has a much more highly functioning democracy than we do.

True fact. Zero sarcasm or exaggeration.

Sigh.

Eating dinner at a relative’s and they had one of the broadcast networks running as we are about to sit down, and I think it was NBC and it comes blaring on about even more Epstein documents, and one of the younger kids asked who Jeffrey Epstein was, lol.  Channel got changed to PBS Create. Nobody denounced it as fake news or anything, so there’s that.

Not really, because literally every Democrat has always said something like, "Sure, if Bill's in there, then lock his ass up, too."

It's only a problem for the right, who demanded that the files be released, but who also hitched their political careers to a guy who is in there, a lot.  And it's problem for everyone who fell for his con, voted for him, and believed in him, in spite of an astonishing amount of red flags.  You are all WAY more attached to Trump than anyone is to Bill Clinton.

Helpful hint: you are going to have to turn on this guy.  The longer you wait, the worse it is for you.  Admit you were wrong, cut him loose, and call for him to be hanged from a tree.  Come back to sanity.

Guess he's never seen this, either.  Or forgot.

Thought that I've been pondering: I have no idea who those people are in this picture, but I do remember being told they are some kind of right-wing influencer shitheads. So when they got their hands on these supposed Epstein files back in January, did they discuss the contents on their podcasts or in their tweets? I just remember the picture, but no one saying what was in those binders.

When Clinton was thought to have been involved in an illegal land development scheme in the 90s, he was investigated by a special counsel.

i know the answer but how in the world can we have smoking guns with Trump being involved in pedophilia, and it’s brushed off as political bs. I still think the most likely story is that Trump was involved in some sleazy situations but that doesn’t mean children were involved.

Are you fucking serious with this? After that birthday card? After several reports from different girls that he raped them when they were underaged?

I think the dude on the right is money grubbing carpetbagger and performance artist Chad Prather, who is from New Jersey and who has the backbone and principles of a moistened bint.

Truth is, though, if DOJ had acted on January 22, 2021, Trump wouldn't have been convicted or finally (appeal exhaustion) before November 4, 2024.

And, even if by some miracle he had at least been convicted at trial, it wouldn't have made a single, solitary shit.

You're right, I'm sure going through a trial and the public recitation of evidence would have done absolutely nothing and not been worth a single shit.

Follow me here: we should have nabbed him on the street, decided unilaterally that he was an illegal, and immediately shipped him to a shithole prison in an unnamed country.
Give him all the due process he thinks other people deserve, nothing more and nothing less.

Just like the New York cases.

How do you have even less regard for the law than I do?

I've spent about half my career as a litigator and the most inevitable and unavoidable thing is delay.

Sometimes, you get excited about a case and forget that it's gonna be 3-4-5 years until it's resolved.

I fucked up and let myself get optimistic about the Trump prosecutions, because I thought they were righteous and Jack Smith did a great job.

But apart from the "ah, well, nevertheless" component, the delay was going to sink those cases if he was elected in November 2024.  They were going to end up exactly where they got -- dismissed.  And even apart from Trumpkins' ability to rationalize any convictions along the way, the dismissals were going to swallow it all whole.

The woman on the left runs libsoftiktok on twitter, possibly the most influential driver of right wing outrage culture and really daily maga "news" in the country. Yes it's insane, but it's also true, she is far more influential than fox news or tucker Carlson or really anyone other than trump himself.

Gift giving at Christmas (Santa Claus bringing gifts in the night) is literally rooted in St. Nicholas rescuing underage girls from child exploitation.

Or, Garland could have recommended to Biden that he seize trump and people like Bannon, Miller, et al and put them in Gitmo as imminent national security threats; and let certain members of SCOTUS know in no uncertain terms they would be next if they wanted to FAFO.

You know, since SCOTUS had JUST ruled presidential actions such as that are A-OK
