Explosions in Sri Lanka

You want a US congresswoman to address an issue she has nothing to do with, that happened in a country 1000s of miles away? Why?

Because whenever some Muslims do a bad thing, it's up to all Muslims everywhere to apologize for it.

Just like Christians are always apologizing for abortion clinic bombings, the Inquisition, the Crusades, witch trials, two thousand years of persecuting a variety of non-Christians, Stryper, and so on.  Wait, they've never apologized for any of that.  They must silently approve of it...

Don't forget the systematic sexual abuse of thousands upon thousands of innocent children all over the world, for generations, that we know of. They're obviously all complicit.

Moulavi Zahran Hashim, a radical islamist Imam and preacher, is on the run

Sri Lankan intelligence has named the mastermind behind the Easter Sunday attacks as Moulvi Zahran Hashim

According to the article, he's been making waves for a few years.  Although he says its "in retaliation for Christchurch", he's been talking up this kind of thing well before that (at least 2 years).  He advocates an all-Islam Sri Lanka (which of course is 70% Buddhist, good luck with that).

As I posted above, looks like some of the National Thowheed Jamath (NTJ), a formerly peaceful group, has gotten all fucked up and has a lot of more violent subcurrents within it.  This guy led one.

Don't recall the guys name but he was on Coast-to-Coast talking a little about what was going on in Sri Lanka. His take was that the majority Buddhists (non-Tamil) had been harassing the for the most part peaceful Muslim population with laws/rules over the last decade or so that affected them to the point that the more radical in the NTJ were able to recruit and radicalize a good number of people to their cause. It seems like misdirected violence but I'm sure there's some rationalization. Fucksticks, all of them. And the infighting among government officials kept them from being able to respond to warnings of possible  violence. He cautioned that the US needed to pay attention to that aspect as we are very divided as well with the Executive branch seeming to be at odds with the FBI among others.
