  2. Yeah, but that wouldn't be the standard for damages in a more normal contract scenario. They lost his services, but they also no longer needed to pay him. The legit measure of damages would be the "cost to cover," the cost to replace him. Of course, their ability to replace him is circumscribed by the spring portal window. But if they had to pay more for a replacement, that would be the normal measure of damages. I think what you'd have to do to make that enforceable is some somewhat arbitrary $5-10k/month of contract to cover the fact that a) he may be irreplaceable, both from a talent and an "at all" standpoint and b) that any replacement obtained in the portal is likely to command a premium of that 5-10k.
  3. Excuse. it was under sanctions. But yet we never seem to grab Iranian or Russian ships under sanction. At least we did not blow it up causing an environmental mess.
  4. Apparently you did. BYU is either better than Miami or they are not. See below.
  5. We throw Weiss-Munoz-Abreu-Hader, and the other team has no chance.
  6. My team is on the floor in the Citrus Bowl.
  7. I don't think it was one of the original 13 pillars, just a shard of the same material.
  8. but if they cancelled the show, The Holy Ones "wouldn't have a chance to respond" they are entitled to respond !
  9. mi jugador favorito! mi ídolo!! NONIIIII!!!! 🔴⚪️
  10. Not the best life decision to pick a fight with a Waffle House employee, as the rest of the pack will be on you like white on rice.
  11. the point of having an OL coach is to recruit OL and develop them. I don't expect them to be a rolling ball of butcher knives every year but what we had was a complete failure, quite literally an "F". if you are gonna get paid that much you need to come with a lot more than an F. add to this year, some past running game failures and I think you have to look elsewhere. The OL is the key to just about any football team. a portal is a gap fill and at OL it is going to be really hard to plug and play easily, even if you can find one. I'm not absolving Sark of his responsibility, which is to make sure his OL coach(and other coaches for that matter) is doing his job.
  12. Vandy, Mizzou, Arky, Auburn the highest in the SEC on here. Even though these are non-QB runs, it seems like a lot of the top performers do a lot of QB running. Looking at rumored RB coach candidate schools - GT was pretty elite and Mckenzie is also their Run Game Coordinator (if that actually means anything). UF and LSU above average on YAC, not good on scheme/blocking. Nebraska plenty of running room but RBs not doing much extra. And this definitely won't quiet the Samples fanboys. I kinda like this Mckenzie guy. Sounds like more focus is on Juluke and Wilson but he's a younger guy with a nice track record of production.
  13. My wife's nephew in the army had his platoon sent for a different field medic training last week than they've done before. These had mostly stopped since the troops were pulled from the middle east occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan. They are absolutely preparing to invade with ground troops. My wife is worried for him, his mother is scared shitless. I remember in Christmas time of 2023 I sat outside with him at their family's holiday party. He had just graduated HS and was thinking of enlisting. He asked my advice due to my background with the military and I advised him to wait a year until after the 2024 election. Said if trump wins there's a good chance we'll be at war again soon and the military will be one of the last places he'd want to be. He decided to risk it anyway. Good luck kid.
  14. That video reminds me of visiting grandma at the old folks home during wheelchair exercise time.
  15. Forgive me Surly, for I have sinned. It has been seven years since my last guitar-purchase confession. I coveted a guitar I have lusted after for many years. I succumbed to to 0% financing and will pay $40 per month for a relatively short period of time. In penance, I shall perform 20 rock-god stances and 15 guitar faces ever day. I will light candles and incense. I will howl at the moon. Amen.
  16. Biggest takeaway I saw on that chart was apparently their back up QB is the starters little brother.
  17. I'm here for the full Trump Invasion of Venezuela at this point. I think it will expedite regime change ......... in this country.
  18. 8 of the last ten posts made were by people on my ignore list. Figured something worth reading might have happened. Nope, fantana still a sniveling twat and incredulity still a flaming cunt. You two should just fuck and get it over with.
  19. That is illuminating. Texas is in Washington State territory. For portal reasons (recognizing that RB may already be spoken for), I would be interested in knowing what's more about players to helped their teams over that elite tier 3.5 YAC line. ULM, for example, looks like they were RB by committee with a pretty big committee. I wonder how that UNT RB would translate against better defenses (freshman Hawkins, 200 carries 6.2/carry, from Shawnee, OK).
  20. That's hysterical that you could play online against people with different files in your directory.
  21. Looking at the 12/4 report from the Department of Labor, it looks like initial claims are recently down, but continued claims are up. Not seasonal adjusted initial claims were down about 20% from Nov 22 to Nov 29 and they had anticipated a seasonal adjustment of 8.6%. So, yeah, it is good news. I am curious how the government shutdown might have affected the numbers. I could see vendors who support the government furloughing employees during the shutdown. But for continued claims, it was up 70k people from Nov 8 to Nov 15, up about 4.1% in a week. Comparing to the same time last year, continued claims are up 3.3%.
  22. In Trumps defense he does take responsibility for things…. Just not things rooted in reality. And he blames reality on democrats….. And the reality he creates sucks. So yeah….,
