  1. Past hour
  2. And expecting to land them all out of high school is sane? Do you feel like you’re the most sane person you’ve ever talked to? Just curious. He’s just saying that if we have to win an auction, win it when they can contribute.
  3. Slow close sounds fancy. I've raised (or nearly raised) two boys, and a tiny felt or cork dot-pad on one inside corner of the door so no one hears the cabinet door slam has been perfectly adequate.
  4. Any Danny’s restaurant (not dennys) is pretty solid. Tacos Kissi is good too. Otilia’s if you’re feeling fancy. Gloria’s is a chill night spot for a drink, in the golondrina park.
  5. But their handheld whiz bang diagnostic tool is pretty cool. Amirite?
  6. Just clicked on this 👆amazing video again and this popped up instead. 👇 https://www.instagram.com/reel/DKVCMJSIUzI/? Not sure why the link wouldn’t embed, but the bouncing back and forth reminded me of tennis 🎾 🎾 … Kind of. Not really.
  7. Fuck the poors, I wanna be a billionaire and get me lower taxes, a big mansion and an autographed red hat. America... What a country
  8. Yeah, i knew he liked the bikes. He’s pretty damned cool.
  9. I finally got around to watching American Thunder. It was solid. Taking NASCAR to LeMans. Learned a lot about both sports in one doc.
  10. He’s heavily involved in motor sports, both as a driver and owner of a motorcycle company.
  11. As they say, today is the last day on which several thousand Americans will have 2 hands/all 10 fingers.

    3-2-1 Ribs

I honestly don't cook anything at 225 anymore.
  13. Have you seen all the brown people who don't live there who show up to fish that pond? They need that militia.
  14. I uploaded all of my stored music to Google Play Music. I've slowly started re-ripping my CDs in full quality as flac files to a hard drive, which I stream with Plex.
  15. Its been too long but my google search of shitty parts if Amarillo produced this image. It was in there cause I remember Ninth, S Bell and Smiley Street for some reason. God dammit! Time and memory loss suck.
  16. Paying millions for developmental players to sit on the bench is a huge stranded cost. The big NIL dollars should be reserved for generational talent that is either A) ready to contribute immediately or B) at a position of scarcity such as DT.
  17. What you meant to write when sober was: @Chico_SA, his brother, and I are headed to Houston for the final. Sorry that you accidentally sent the message before you sobered up and edited it, but I’ve got you, bro. 🤘 PS- I will be in Paris, France and not giving a flying fuck about the game, so good luck to everyone. Wear rain gear for the bags of piss. 🇲🇽
  18. thinking we’re going to get all these guys in the portal like they’re at a juco is crazy
  19. no worries boys, LMJ going to right the ship tomorrow ....
  20. Truckstops in the 80's. Among other niceties, to which I was not granted access, were pins and arcade games typically available. Our dad drove a truck and would rack up credits on Six Million Dollar Man or Eight Ball Deluxe, "Stop talking and start chalking!" when you took too long to plunge the ball. My older borther and I loved mop up duty playying out the credits. $6MMan is the first game I ever fell in love with 1- because of the theme and 2- becaus eit was the first game that I played with the post between the flippers to keep you from losing it. Aladdin's Castle. Sikes Senter Mall. Wichita Falls, TX was the classic 80's arcade across from the 6-plex theater in the mall. Everything from Xaxxon to 10 Yard Fight to Crossbow to Dragon's Lair. Pinballs during that era were Gold Wing, Cyclone, "Hey you with the face!" and F-14 Tomcat, among many, many others. In the late 80's/ early 90's, Family Fun Place, South Plains Mall. Lubbock, TX. Black Knight2000. First game I could beat with regularity, in that I would show up with a $1 and leave with $.50 after playing for 2 hours. LOVED that game. Putt-Putt, Lubbock, would get coupons out of the phone book( that in and of itself dates this one,) 40 tokens for 5 bucks. John Elway's Quarterback for days. Loved that it had continuous stats/ rankings. Pinball machine was Space Shuttle. Would beat the living hell out of the center ramp and one of the first games I learned with multi-ball. I enjoy many of the assorted modern places and really like the ones where they have 20-30 pins and a set entrance fee for the day. When I am on the road for work( which is a lot,) after restaurants, I am looking at places to play pinball. I have benefitted from the resurgence of popularity of pins and arcade games. Not a fan of the card readers, redeemable games, and the fru-fru bullshit these days; but if it drives more revenue to get the good games in there, then cool.
  21. That’s pretty cool. He seems like a genuinely awesome dude. I’ve never been a GM guy but, I will be all in on Cadillac’s entry. Fuck all of them!
  22. Einstein's was by Texas Textbooks and the Coop. You're thinking of Le Fun next to the Scientology building.
  23. Yes Baby Back Ribs 2-2-1 Spare Ribs 3-2-1 Someone posted that years ago on one of the Hornfans/ Shaggy Bevo/ Shaggy Texas/ Surly Horns sites and the laws of science haven’t changed since then.
