  1. Past hour
  2. The point is that MSU isn't Stanford. It's a huge state school with good history in both revenue sports and it isn't on the other side of the country as its conference. They're never going to be perennial title contenders but they shouldn't be going 5-7 every year or ever go 4-8.
  3. so why did they come back if they're just going to pass the maps anyway???
  4. My belts have extra holes drilled in them for this reason. But with shirts, yeah it's a bitch.
  5. Dear Gray, may I interest you in a pair of bootstraps?
  6. Maybe Sark read about how OSU is having real troubles with their offensive line and is being a a true sportsman by shuffling ours up and giving them a fighting chance.
  7. I'm starting to wonder if Daniel Cruz is just a bust. I expected him to maybe be at least the primary C backup this year, maybe push to start. But the staff seems to be going out of the way to put other guys ahead of him at C. That can't bode well. But maybe he's still undersized and not quite ready?
  8. oh that's a good one fuck you cunt.
  9. Same. XLs swallow me sometimes but then I have larges that look like a kids size. I think I even have a couple mediums right now that work for me based on how they're cut.
  10. Since we're mostly flying blind here, it this possibly a sign of Neto losing his starting job at LG? Inserting Robertson at starting C seems like a tell.
  11. If only Putin would agree to: 1. Return the stolen children 2. Return to pre-special military operations borders 3. 100% prisoner swap 4. UKR to cease from joining NATO 5. UKR will seek European security guarantees 6. UKR will not seek compensatory payment for non-military damages (ie we will pay our own way back to reconstruction) 7. UKR will not seek to repatriate Crimea nor will UKR seek military solution; UKR will not recognize that as part of Russia
  12. Oh, just a ton of NIL money and competent coaching? Is that all? I think those things are just lying around everywhere.
  13. Before or after Florida depending on outcome of Auburn game. They'll be riding high on moral victory over ND, particularly if it is a 10 point loss or less. They will likely beat UTSA (I think it will be close), Utah State and MSU. If they lose to Auburn after ND, it deflates the moral victory a good deal and "the savior" is under fire. Probably riding pine by Florida. If they pull off an Auburn W they will be 4-1, and a big loss to Florida is the only thing that will derail Reeds "Heisman campaign"... also, that's the time by which I suspect he will probably be broken.
  14. Years ago, I was leaving the Houston airport in a rented Kia and a guy in an Audi A8 wanted to try that crap. He backed off when he realized that I didn't care and the cost of fixing the paint on his front panel was more than the value of the crap I was driving.
  15. You may be onto something here. It’s possible Hutson is the 3rd or 4th G. Sark has subbed at G more than anywhere else on the Oline the past two years albeit because that’s where we were inconsistent. It could be about Robertson at C and Hutson at G and what the hell, throw Neto at LT for a brief run. I can’t imagine that was the look for extended periods of practice. But Sark knows we’re whipping ass so maybe he’s less concerned about locking in reps at this moment.
  16. I have Irish relatives through marriage and we've visited plenty, but mostly on the west coast with Galway as the home base. The crazy thing about going from there to Dublin is that, the first time I did it in 2009, it was like a 6+hour drive. Maybe more like 7+ if memory serves. Now? Less than 3 hours. They've really built out a lot of infrastructure that they were lagging on for decades. Anyway, to tex's original post, the kids growing up there still have to learn Celtic/Gaelic/whatever they call it in school. They say there's a pocket of like 10,000-ish people on the island who still speak it as native tongue. Also, Dublin is a terrific city. I want Texas to open against someone there, preferably Notre Dame, someday. I'm excited about the Iowa State/KSU game. Does Matt Campbell do his typical opening game bedshitting? Or does he have his team ready for a conference rival? Does Klieman move on from whatever personal stuff was causing him problems last year? Can Avery Johnson approach living up to the early expectations when he arrived? Can he complete a forward pass at least 15 times in this game? Interested in finding out. The KU/Fresno State game could be fun. Leipold has another new OC. Maybe Jalon Daniels figures some shit out more quickly this season. KU closed well last year, but their start was ugly and ruined the year.
  17. LCHorn

    Pizza

Then there are better, cheaper options than a $28 pepperoni pizza from All Day. I don’t like their pizza because it’s sloppy to eat, but I used to live down the street from the original East Side Pies and they were always rolling out with something unusual.
  18. Covid is whipping through my office. I think I missed out, mostly because I'm only in office 2 days a week, but it's definitely a thing. Anyone know if the latest boosters are expected to have any efficacy against this strain? #rfkjrlaughing
  19. Those are the only words needed when referencing any post of his.
  20. Tuve should go back to lead off to avoid so many double plays
  21. Putin is playing Risk and we're playing Mother May I.
  22. We're nationalizing intel now? There used to be a term for the government trying to wet its beak in all phases of the economy.
