  1. Past hour
  2. It was the worst. Freshman year it was band from 7:30-10 in the morning and then football from 2:30-5. Long ass day with those times being mostly outdoors in September.
  3. Same, exactly the same. I think it’s ok. He needed 100% downtime. I get it.
  4. Was this before or after you gave him a lobotomy?
  5. california? so are the store employees going to get charged?
  6. Guessing everyone who couldn't locate someone called it in as a drowning. Plus, there were probably lots of fakes from people looking for handouts. This was quite common after 911. In fact, a very popular President of the 911 Survivors Committee wasn't even in the country when it happened!!! "The former President of the World Trade Center Survivors' Network, Tania Head, was exposed as a fraud. Her real name is Alicia Esteve Head, a Spanish woman who was not in the United States on September 11, 2001. She had fabricated her entire story of surviving the attacks and losing a fiancé in the collapse of the towers. Tania Head's fabricated story and exposure Claimed experience: Tania Head claimed to have been in the South Tower on the 78th floor, the same floor where the second plane hit. She vividly described horrific scenes, being rescued by Welles Crowther (who died saving others), and being handed a wedding ring by a dying man. She also claimed to have lost her fiancé in the North Tower. Role in the Survivors' Network: Tania Head became a prominent figure in the 9/11 survivor community, serving as president of the World Trade Center Survivors' Network and advocating for survivors' recognition. Her emotional story and dedication resonated with other survivors. Exposure: In 2007, inconsistencies in Head's story began to emerge, particularly as a New York Times investigation into a profile on Head revealed discrepancies. It was discovered that Tania Head was actually Alicia Esteve Head, a Spanish native who was in Barcelona at the time of the attacks. Her alleged fiancé was a real victim, but his family confirmed they had never met Head. Impact of the revelation: The revelation of Head's deception deeply impacted the survivor community, though some acknowledge her positive contributions to the network before her true identity was known. Head subsequently disappeared from public life. This case is a tragic reminder of the potential for individuals to exploit tragedies for personal gain and the importance of verifying accounts, particularly in emotionally charged situations."
  7. Thanks! Yes, all were on a tripod except for pic 5, technically. That was at an overlook and there was a rock wall there with a nice flat top that I just set the camera on. I actually took a photo with my phone of that.
  8. we've got the business center too. It's great.
  9. OPEN broke over $4.00. Sheesh
  10. I'm pretty sure those view corridors have been largely ignored for a couple of decades.
  11. Band kids at least in our experience have the busiest schedules in the entire high school. My senior leads over 200 peers, it’s really incredible. He’s dialed in and on fire but we are careful to make sure he has plenty of downtime - not a lot of demands other than school and band. Volunteering is out of the question, he actually has plenty of volunteering required in the band. He loves being busy and productive. He’s got a motor for sure, gets it from me. He enjoys down time but he likes to earn it. His social life is rich and he loves the travel, bus time with friends, and the camaraderie. For college I think of it as a club more than anything but one that will eat up his time - in a good way. He wants to continue that and he loves the big time football atmosphere (LT has it at the HS level) from the perspective of a band member. we are kinda banking on drum major and band generally to propel him. His grades are great but his electives aren’t bump classes so he’s not had enough AP type classes to move into the top 10% even. His SAT is meh, not a good test taker, gets that from me too. I scored 20th percentile but performed 10th percentile consistently. Unweighted GPA he’s killing it. looking west it’s his personality but continent too where diversity essays (trans parent, lesbian step mom - remains to be seen if we play that card) and test scores are still ignored.
  12. It's Abu Ghraib all over again.
  13. Never fails and its always hilarious
  14. This is the country we live in
  15. I'll have you know that at 16, I struck that same pose with my girlfriend at the Southern Star Amphitheater while Debbie Gibson sang "Foolish Beat."
  16. Yes. He should demand Coca Cola changes its name to Trumpa Cola and if they don't, he will arrest everyone that works there and put them in prison. I think this is normal for the United States.
  17. Adding the third deck, duh.
  18. Last week he threatened to take away Rosie O’Donnell’s citizenship because he doesn’t like her. Again, all of these freedom loving liberty loving small govt conservatives just have to notice at some point right? So weird.
  19. Thank you @TexasEd & @TxEx84 for helping clear debris at Centerpoint and Rio Robles. Kerr County appreciates what you did and your big hearts.
  20. Karic is a sign of how Sark transformed the roster. He was a good player for us in my opinion, but what can you do when better and more talented players are ahead of you? It’s not like he was crap. We just had better players in front of him. That’s how wicked this roster is now.
