  1. Past hour
  2. So when it sucks, everyone can just ignore it and pretend it doesn’t exist
  3. Centrists aren't real Andrew Yang's ideas are as childish as Elon's, they're just not shitty and racist

  5. Fall practice starts today! WE'RE HERE BOYS!
  6. Yesterday they dismissed the ridiculous charges against the dude who distributed face masks
  7. You gotta treat yourself every now and then. Cheat day is an apple fritter and a kolache.
  8. Best view is One Vanderbilt. That rooftop is pretty cool. After October 15th, the Winter Village returns to Bryant Park. Just time in Central Park is a good time. When the weather is decent (i.e. not hot as hell), I like to take Harvey early in the AMs and run him off leash.
  9. Everything at Dunkin is shit. I love a good apple fritter, always my go to. The local mom & pop place here makes a great one that I have to limit myself to one a week on or I'd weigh 300 lbs.
  10. If we colonize a planet with a 48 hour day, would it be better to roll with it, complete with 20 hour sleeps and 16 hour work days and what not, or split into a day day and a night day?
  11. City manager ain't a real job, convince me otherwise
  12. It's funny how these dudes always think they won't get immediately found out.
  13. Cross post- Energy bills fidna go up * 77 gigawatts of lost clean energy in Texas, including over 50 gigawatts of solar and over 20 gigawatts of wind) * Only 2 gigawatts of additional gas * Household power bills up $400–$500 a year * Industrial energy costs up 50% * Tens of billions in lost rural tax
  14. Both suck, so same same.
  15. @Ramblyn you aren't alone.
  16. Could be immortal but probably still Rex
  17. She had nothing to do with hospitals - mental or otherwise. She headed programs that issued state licenses for several healthcare professions (X-ray techs, medical physicists, dieticians, etc.). She also administered qualification examinations for healthcare professionals around the state. No fancy lunches or parties for people at her level. We met at mutual friends wedding as best man & maid of honor in 1966.
  18. Determining sex is easy and a Kindergarten Cop gif can tell you the answer. Determining gender is apparently a social construct, but I read a bunch of posts saying it’s actually up to the individual and not society. How do we β€œreprogram” that messaging for it to be more palatable to men and women we know are more liberal than the generations before them, but don’t identify with the Democratic Party?
  19. Once again Texas shoots itself in the dick * 77 gigawatts of lost clean energy in Texas, including over 50 gigawatts of solar and over 20 gigawatts of wind) * Only 2 gigawatts of additional gas * Household power bills up $400–$500 a year * Industrial energy costs up 50% * Tens of billions in lost rural tax
  20. Obviously a lie. Look how happy she is. She was just chillin' with the middle aged in another country with royalty. Luckiest girl in the world. I must say, that smiling face haunts me when this subject comes up. She was so brave to come forward. I mean, look at who she's taking on just in that photo.
  21. Wasn't Haslam the guy who pushed through the Watson trade?
  22. EOSE earnings after the market closes today. Holding 15,100 shares @ 5.79.
  23. Might be cheaper to buy a new neck, no? As for pearl on maple, you'd barely see them.
  24. Remember watching the game referenced with my Dad who was a lifetime Cub fan and my Uncle who was a lifetime Cardinal fan at my Uncle's home in central Ilinois where the radio broadcast for WGN and the station out of St. Louis overlapped. You were either a Cubs fan or a Cardinal fan in that small farming community. I also remember that Sandberg had a very rough start his rookie season, can't remember the exact numbers, but something like 1 for 30 or 40. Cubs' manager Lee Elia kept him in the lineup and things seemed to work out from there for Ryne and the club.
