Dem Strategeries For Mass Cult Reprogramming
Ojo Rojo replied to Al Bundy's Napoleon Hand's topic in Cloak Room
1. Attack and tax the rick. Vilify the rich. Instead of minorities and immigrants, make them the reason for all of the bad things that happen to working class people. 2. Reinstate the Fairness Doctrine to exert control over media messaging so it can't be batshit. 3. Address the biggest threat to national security there is - the fucking deficit. Insist on paying it down by any means necessary, including reducing military spending. Make people fear the deficit. 4. Campaign finance reform. Campaign finance reform. Campaign finance reform. As long as money rules politics then the real needs of the country and its people will not be met. 5. Lincoln Project style videos showing every promise Trump did not keep. -

As much of a turd as Graham is, I can't imagine that one of the literal authors of Project 2025 is going to be an improvement.

Still waiting to hear the story behind your arc.

So you’d prefer to include Mateer as he played against all those defenses that he’ll face this year?

I don't mind crazy Danica. She's okay by me. Karun on the other hand, ugh, what an absolute beating. And I totally agree on Nico-- not only is he willing and able to discuss the more pointed topics, but he also adds a lot to the driving/technical discussions. I really do like Jenson but I feel like he's supposed to be covering a similar role and he just doesn't bring as much to it.

There was no way the NCAA was ever going to apply the Death Penalty to a large school such as OU or even ATM. Hell, OU basically stared down the NCAA with the Big Red Automotive scandal and once schools started hiring that law firm out of either KC or Chicago the NCAA was basically toothless if you wanted to fight them. SMU made it easy for them being complete dumbarses by continuing to pay players and alums such as the fucking Governor not backing down. I would suggest to the OP the book "A Payroll to Meet: A Story of Greed, Corruption, and Football at SMU" which was the source material for the 30 for 30 special. If I recall correctly, Houston was penalized, ATM, SMU, TCU, and Baylor had some issues with FIxx so there was plenty of shit going on in the conference.

Dem Strategeries For Mass Cult Reprogramming

I might have more respect for a diehard Trumper than anyone labeling themselves a "centrist" in this political climate. MAGA are idiots and some are downright evil, but at least it's an ethos. Demanding a middle ground during an authoritarian takeover is beyond ridiculous. -

When did a Democratic candidate make a special interest social issue the center of their agenda? We passed the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act in 1964 and 1965, respectively. Were we a less racist country then? Or did liberals become too scared of speaking affirmatively in support of civil rights? Would we be better off right now if Manchin and Sinema had voted for the new Civil Rights Act in 2022, or was their concern about appearing too focused on social issues to support it correct? In 2016, North Carolina passed an anti-trans bathroom bill. At the time it was so controversial that the NCAA pulled the NCAA Tournament out of the state, the NBA moved the all star game, and numerous major companies withdrew business from the state. What changed between then and now? Did the Democrats become vocally more pro-trans rights? Did any Democrats center trans issues in their campaigns? Or did many of them begin acknowledging that Republican messages on trans rights were correct, in an attempt to defuse it as an effective political issue? There is no running from social issues to focus on material issues. Democrats have to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time. -

Flo's approach on the mens side is to grab all these "older" Europeans in the 20 to 24 range. Saino ran a 48.61 in the 400MH last week at the U23 EU championships.

Hmm, did you perhaps just get your latest issue of the AARP mag? I can ask, since I'm an old. Glad to see she looks better in the pictures, than on the show...had assumed they made her look as rough as possible.

The only movies I had a hard time with as a kid were Jurassic Park and Aliens. Once I got old enough, none of that stuff was believable enough to bother me anymore. -

That era was wild and kept the NCAA compliance office busy and often with bullshit violations like a coach gave a player a quarter to use the pay phone type of stuff. I figured after watching the SMU 30/30 special “Pony Excess” that A&M was more in arms race with SMU than we were which was set off by losing Eric Dickerson the way they did. If there were two other schools in that era that deserved the death penalty, it was aggy and OU. Both should thank their lucky stars SMU got it first and the backlash kept them from pulling that trigger ever again. -
They also get children killed too. A lot of them, and like to use children’s education as leverage in negotiations.
