  1. Past hour
  2. That is not at all the only way to interpret that. That is a fucking insane, dogshit interpretation. Jesus christ.
  3. One could say he is a real "Coach on the field" type.
  4. Where was the on campus movie theater and what was it called? I never went there sober but I vaguely remember watching Eraserhead and Basket Case there.
  5. My son and I hiked Ute up to Ajax this morning. 3100 feet and 2.8 miles in 90 minutes. Hot tub time now.
  6. It had already been reported that when Meta went fishing for training material, it used torrents and bootleg websites to download pirated/infringing copies in a knowing fashion. That has not been reported in connection with any of the other AI training infringement cases.
  7. Underdog

    Colonoscopy

Didn’t pay attention to a word she said.
  8. That pep talk was painful to watch. Cringe worthy. Looked like coach didn't want to be doing it, and only half believed in it. Had the smile pasted on his face, all while knowing there was a fairly good chance Bert would go full Bert right there. I'm sure Sark didn't know WTF to do at that time though - was worth a shot, I guess.
  9. Republicans for UBI
  10. HBO Sports did a magnificent documentary before he died. Like you he was an iconic voice in my life. I watched Munich play out in real time on our first color TV.
  11. People who saw it at the theater will never forget it. People who saw it at home all say it was trash. That movie has the biggest split in opinion based on viewing setting that I have ever seen.
  12. @Captainant Cross posting here as I think it could spawn better discussion: WASHINGTON, July 29 (Reuters) - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will rescind the long-standing finding that greenhouse gas emissions endanger human health, as well as tailpipe emission standards for vehicles, removing the legal foundation of greenhouse gas regulations across industries, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin announced on Tuesday. Republican President Donald Trump's pick Zeldin announced the agency's plan to rescind the "endangerment finding" at an event at a truck factory in Indiana, alongside Energy Secretary Chris Wright, and called it the largest deregulatory action in U.S. history.
  13. Oh really Greg, some fear it could politicize the appointments?

    Getting old sucks

Getting old physically does indeed suck. Today Mrs. Brat & I both had results from last week’s scans/biopsies: She has a splenic artery aneurysm (1.7cm), and one of the spots on my noggin is a basal cell carcinoma. Ah well, it’s fairly common stuff that’s easily treatable, but still annoying to have to go to a new set of doctors and get whittled on. PITA
  15. We were lucky enough to get one of the fire pit rentals at crystal cove for sunset one night. Very cool. We did the paragliding about 15 years ago. Fun but for someone afraid of heights once was enough.
  16. Starting a thread. We are skipping Columbus because of some serious fuckery that made it make no sense for a large scale event. Home schedule only consists of 6 games this year - Arkansas and TAMU to finish of the season. Tailgates packages will become available soon, you can get a full season for $100 per person. You can pre-buy any single game before the season starts for $25 per person and early bird will be $30 any time in the season. Walk ups are going to be $40 unless they are with a full season pass holder and then they can use your promo code to get in for $25. A season pass will also get you early access and permanently discounted pricing for the away games we are planning to do this year (Gainesville and Athens) Pricing isn't finalized for those, but the season pass will be 25% off, maybe more if the economics work out favorably. We are targeting for away tailgates to be $125-150 per person all inclusive with a food and non alcoholic beverage option for $85 or so. We will have the same spots as the last seasons for home games and larger setups for Arkansas and TAMU. Things are changing slightly and this will not just be the Surly Horns Tailgate - we will change the name to something (open to suggestions), but Surly will be the primary sponsor alongside OnTexasFootball as the media sponsor. We are taking additional sponsors, sponsor packages come with a package of season tickets and you can have swag at the tailgate etc. You will also be able to offer discounted tickets to your customers/associates to get into a tailgate for cheaper. We are already the premier on-campus tailgate outside of Texas Exes, and I expect to continue to grow as we have more regulars and people who plan to attend the watch parties during the games. playback.mp4

  17. Yeah, this is hard as well. I live 20 miles from my dad. My sister is just down the street, half a mile away. She's older, closer and my dad prefers to deal with her. He's always favored her a bit, that's just a fact. I make sure to come by and see Dad when I can, and I'll buy my sister lunch when we go out, but the brunt of this falls on her. She's also a control freak and I think she secretly likes to be in charge.
  18. This is giving me PTSD from Sark's early years where he would give up leads in the 2nd half. Obviously that didn't happen this time around because our defense was stout as shit.
  19. wouldn't shock me that several people in attendance at that meeting with at January 6th.
  20. Baby woke up at 4, so we hit the trail at the base of the mountain at dusk. Once everyone else woke up and ate, we took a trail up Snodgrass. Other than not being a fan of horse shit on the trail, the 3 year-old managed to do the 1.5+ miles all on his own. Other than looking like the highest person in Colorado thanks to the dry air and early wakeup, things are going surprisingly smoothly and enjoyable with 2 little ones.
  21. Is it this? Because I otherwise have no idea what the fuck any of you are talking about.
