Just dropping by to say fuck OU for all of 2025 and beyond. -
That’s amazing. I would have lost my fucking mind. Reminds me (not food related) when my second son was born and my sister in law came down to help out and I was gassed, on fumes, needed a nap in the worst way. My then wife asleep in worse shape than me. SiL walks in the door says she’s here to help after she naps because the drive took it out of her. My ex father in law drove her. I fucking unloaded all my pent up wrath on her. She was not amused. She said she was going home. My response? insert “good” gif

Wow, that Fox extension is expensive. I thought he would give the Spurs a discount, since he wanted to go there and made that his trade destination. They have a lot of guards to work with, but figuring out the balance is going to be difficult. -
I’ll get to wrigley.

Agreed. That's impressive at 16 or 17. It's amazing at 14. Up here, we need permission from schools and parents to have someone younger than 16 employed at a place like Chick-fil-a. My daughter did that and quickly found out she was one of only a couple of school-aged coworkers at a local restaurant who pulled their weight. Now she's an apprentice at a major company and finding the same thing relative to her fellow students. At least a few of her friends still haven't worked. Doesn't quite follow through the same way at home, but we're a little more accepting of that because she's built a decent little savings account for school. She's done great stuff, but your son is doing more. Worth being proud of, and probably deserving of a little mush time on his end, I'd venture.

No chatter here on the Noah/Kenny dustup? I'm all for rivalries, but to me Lyles just came off as a dick. I'm a KFK fan, though, so....

People that get cash back at the grocery store. It’s not a god damn atm.

They should go one better. Stand there armed, rifle pointed at the fucking cowards of DPS, and say "I wish a motherfucker would. Hey, just pretend I'm a school shooter in Uvalde and run the other way." You'll either get red-faced rage, or piss stains on their bloused pants. Either way is a win. Cowards. We have a state governed of, by, and for cowards. NOT of, by, and for Texas and Texans. Change the fucking colors. The GQP no longer deserves red. Just give em yellow. Fuck, make it a particular shade called "Uvalde yellow."

I recently finished "Dispatches" the 1977 book by Michael Herr (incredibly intense) and a lot of the dialogue in FMJ is word-for-word what he experienced covering the war. That includes the quotes above, "Hey little schoolgirl, I'm a little schoolboy too" and "No more boom-boom for this mama-san". Oh and a bunch of the "Come on board for the big win" conversation which is posted a little earlier. FMJ is more based on a different book, "The Short-Timers," but it draws a lot from Dispatches.

what kinda bias is it when 10 people show up at asylum hearings and all 10 are disappeared into a van and rendered to 3rd world torture sites? -
I saw Nazereth open up for Billy Squier in the early 80's. It was a flaccid concert. Nazereth was touring in support of the 2XS album. What's that you say? You've never heard of that album? Thank you for making my point. Both Nazareth and Squier were pretty lifeless that night. One of the worst concerts I've seen. The tour I would have loved to have seen was the one in support of Hair of the Dog. In addition to the title track and the cover of Love Hurts, I love the song "Miss Misery." How Dan McCafferty didn't shred his vocal cords beyond redemption when he laid down the vocals for that track, I'll never know.
