  2. I remember when you knew Urban Meyer was our coach, too.
  3. Vaxxed??
  4. Here’s a bombshell. Taylor Sheridan — the cowboy-poet turned television emperor — is leaving Skydance-owned Paramount. He’s decided to exit and sign a new deal at NBCUniversal. You can’t really blame him. According to Puck’s Matt Belloni, Sheridan, who built the house of “Yellowstone”; and then some, is not happy with Paramount’s new brass, led by Cindy Holland. They started nitpicking his budgets — which can hit $20M an episode — and even tried to interfere with an unrelated film deal Sheridan had already made at Warner Bros. Sheridan’s bolting for NBCUniversal in a deal so large it borders on the ridiculous — a five-year, nine-figure TV pact beginning in 2028, paired with an eight-year film arrangement that kicks off in March. Universal has now nabbed the most successful television auteur of the past decade, plus his whole empire, including 101 Studios. https://www.worldofreel.com/blog/2025/10/26/taylor-sheridan-exits-paramount
  5. in the original Godfather, the 4-masted barque Moshulu was shown in front of Ellis Island when Vito Corleone snuck away to America in 1901. however, that ship was not christened until 1904, and only to work the grain trade in Australia. it would not have ferried people or otherwise made berth in New York. today the ship is permanently docked in Philadelphia to serve as a floating restaurant.
  6. Today
  7. Crack head was awesome. He played that character perfectly.
  8. People give in to their worst inner impulses. Hate for others is the driver here. It’s not shocking to me in all honesty and it’s because we see this happen over and over throughout history. Once enough people latch onto an idea or movement, no matter how ridiculous or destructive it is or will be, people ride it out until it collapses. We are not a special people. We never have been. That this took 250 years to happen is probably the part that is shocking considering our history as a country. I told the woman at work that I mentioned that I will never forget TFG telling people to vote for him in 2024 because “what the hell do you have to lose?” She just looks at me and says “a lot.”

  10. Yeah of course the people that paid money for the Spurs would most likely be in support of nearly anything that the Spurs themselves are in favor of. The majority that are against the Prop A and B are those that do not give a shit about the Spurs or basketball/sports in general. So at the very least you'd think they would be neutral to it since Spurs playing in downtown does not affect them nor will their local city taxes go directly to the building of the new arena. But the dumbfucks at COPSMETRO and others want to rain on everyone else's parade and have stubbornly justified their stance on false talking points like "I don't want my money going to billionaires". That's why when I try to talk about Project Marvel to these people, I don't talk about Spurs or basketball. But instead talk about how other shit that they might actually care about is impacted from conventions at the Convention Center to big events and major concerts at the Alamodome. And all of that shit the Spurs have agreed to invest $500 million towards.
  11. well technically they only said it once, they just showed it 3x.
  12. normally i wouldn’t take medical advice from a non-doctor on twitter, but this guy seems to know his stuff.
  13. I can vouch for futureman, he's an asshole to everyone.
  14. I went my entire life without ever contemplating the phrase Steven Miller's scrotum. And you took that away from me. In other news, it seems like it took less than a year under these numbnuts for our military to start falling apart https://www.cnn.com/2025/10/26/politics/navy-aircraft-crash-south-china-sea
  15. My brother! Did not know that. I will use it at the kids wedding. Lets see what happens. Hope I wake up with both kidneys and not married.
  16. Cool seeing all the original branding/logos at the game. Even the font on the scoreboard had a different look. Lively is not the same without Luka. With this all big lineup the pick and roll with the late pass/lob to Lively is never going to be a thing. The dunk Cooper threw down over the Toronto center was awesome.
  17. FYI in case you see her again later, they call themselves Diné. Navajo is what the Spanish called them.
  18. Noel: Ukrainian strike drones have been tracked over Donetsk, Luhansk, Belgorod, Lipetsk, Kursk, Bryansk, and Oryol regions, with routes pushing toward Kaluga, Tula, and Moscow oblasts. Russian channels report urgent evacuation of aircraft near Moscow and bombers from Engels-2 over fears of imminent strikes.
  19. Man, I am out of loop on the gossip rag stuff lmao. Rhule would indeed be really funny... for OU and aggy. Would be a garbage hire. Kiffen has a far better resume as a HC than did Sark when he was hired here. I don't know if he'd get Texas over the top but there's every reason to believe he'd maintain a CFP competitive level. Collin Klien should have gotten a Big 12 championship ring from Texas in 2023 because he playeda huge part in Texas beating K State. And he followed it up with a 0 point outing for A&M in 2024. This does not make the point you want it to. I'd throw out Jedd Fisch as a Plan C type contingency hire if it gets to that point. He's done good work at Arizona (claening up after Sumlin) and Washington (got them to a bowl game after DeBoer gutted the program and is going to have them at 9-3 this year, and has recruited well). Demond Williams would likely come in tow, which would be huge. This is the gossip I really want in on.
