  1. Past hour
  2. Wasn't Grantham pretty well known for being a raging asshole throughout his career or am I thinking about someone else? Sign my up for that career arc all day long. Come to the rescue of embattled coaches who are about to be fired. Sign a 3 year deal to go there. Get fired mid season. Rinse repeat.
  3. Pittman OL’s, when they at least had some level of talent, produced very strong running games. I’d love to have him as an analyst here.
  4. We have the softest retarded fanbase in the SEC.
  5. Agreed
  6. I posted those personal observations of that scandal originally on that message board and pasted it here. 60 years ago I watched the reporter’s revelations on the now-defunct Tv station, and it wasn’t difficult to understand why the FCC (Led by an LBJ appointee) did not renew the station’s license later. During the time period when the scandal occurred , there were no republicans in any Austin, Travis County, or statwide office then. The democrats owned it. But you are entirely welcome to take it with a grain of salt, I do not care. The Vegas Experts board is not “mine”. I have just been a member there for 25 years.
  7. Quite a cripple fight, there, though.
  8. JFC the Miami Dolphins unis last night were awful.
  9. I mean, Minny had a 13 point lead to start the 4th Q without Phee playing a minute. Maybe they don't win game 5 at home if you hold that lead, but damn - that was two (!) blown 14+ point leads in the series. Lynx had the opportunity to win that series 3-1 if they don't choke twice in the 4th Q. Or get it back home for game 5
  10. What’s up with the back of chucks head in that clip
  11. I didn’t even see that. I’d still give him 30/75 as an extension. He gets the Bobby Bonilla treatment if he wants it!
  12. I relate. Took my time getting there Sunday. Short Hooveriii clip 20250927_132220.mp4
  13. Golf is the most psychological sport in the world. Dismissing the attention to detail and trust created by Europe's RC leadership is dumb. Their goal is to eliminate distractions for the players. Meanwhile, Team USA had to answer media questions about the 500k payout all last week. Trump attending created a circus on Friday. Lingering questions if Keegan should have played or not. Yes, sometimes preparation doesn't matter and it's just about making putts/golf shots. But the last 30 years has been dominated by Europe. That's not luck.
  14. I was making a cheap joke based on your 30/75 typo.
  15. Amanda survives in 3 after she broke Muchova at 4-4 and then served it out. Good shit
  16. The more I hear him speak and see him work, the more I'm convinced that Pete has a micropenis and was justifiably made fun of for it for most of his life.
  17. This is silly: Bochy is going into the HOF once he’s eligible and I’ll be shocked if a fired Espada ever gets higher than bench coach again. Correa has two priorities-getting paid and winning. Organizing an affirmative action program for MLB management is going to be pretty low on the list.
  18. That would only take him through his age 33 season. I don’t think Cubans lie about their age- their med system keeps records. I know people always say this but I think that’s Dominicans that are notorious for that not Cubans.
  19. Less "clickbait" and moreso that they fine-tuned the model on $300k of compute time. They spent about another $5M on cleaning data and training the base model that they distilled and fine-tuned. In contrast, OpenAI's GPT-5 cost is $500M PER training run. Deepseek's main innovation is that they're using reinforcement learning techniques to avoid unproductive training cycles, along with some other heuristics and algorithms to make their gradient descent converge MUCH more quickly to a system maximum. In contrast, most domestic approaches are just throwing as much compute at them as they can and exploring all avenues, which results in quite a bit of discarded work. Like I said earlier, there is a SHITLOAD of optimization yet to be done in the LLM training space. US companies have been happy to throw money at the problem, because it means they can simply raise more money from debt and pay more bonuses to execs. The boom in building datacenters is the single tentpole propping up our GDP at the moment, it's just that they're being hellishly overbuilt.
  20. You're welcome, world.
  21. Not to derail too much, but it was ahead of it's time as a CUV, even if it was ugly AF. If you squint, you see the silhouette of every third car on the road nowadays. Back on topic, though, between the tax credit ending and the shell games between Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter, and xAI, I am hopeful the Musk charade can end in the next year or two.
  22. In his last 11 starts of the year he gave up 24 Earned runs. That’s a tougher pitching environment. He basically takes the ball every 5 days, puts up innings, and is only 30 years old. I would imagine he’s looking for at least 6/150 i just fact checked myself, and Spotrac (feel like they are usually low) says 6/138 and athletic says 7/178 so I’m in the ballpark. I might give that to him. I’d rather do that with him than Framber after that melt down the last 2 months.
  23. Most of us in the other parts of Texas agree.
