  2. Well they dominated them Loong-Lions and Victor Oladipo? There's not an NBA team that couldn't use him? And Frank Kaminsky ... longtimeKenobi.gif I'm bumping my season win prediction up to 70 based on that sample size. Wemby was playing around. One sequence with Keldon was a Globetrotter sequence of passing back and forth and back again in a 5 foot space for an easy score.
  3. Fucking humid this morning.
  4. stumbled across him yesterday. r/criticalmineralstocks is probably one of the fastest growing subreddits
  5. I take it you're not referring to the bloke in the 4 Loko jersey, or my favorite, the cutie hauling up the four cold ones with a sense of purpose.
  6. I have serious questions about some of our coaches. What have Banks and Flood really done the last few years? AJ Milwee seems like a yes man. And has Chris Jackson made our WR room any better? Clark doesn’t seem so good right now and I will never understand PKs love for playing corners 10 yards off at all times.
  7. Since I've seen a few references to out-of-state fried chicken at this point, I would be remiss if I didn't mention The Slogar in Crested Butte, CO. It's been a minute since I've had it, but my recollection of it is that the family-style fried chicken they serve is unmatched.
  8. We just got back from a long ass weekend. I'll let @closetojumping give his own thoughts, but in general...meh. The food, was fucking fantastic, as always. Piero's still has it's fastball, although who knows how long that will last. Dan's in the Fontainebleau was fucking exceptional. And the Casino was nice, I'd consider staying there over the Aria, because it's new and nice and you take a ride everywhere you're going anyway. The Aria...it's fine, but it needs a fucking facelift. The plates around the window buttons and lights literally fell off and was unattached. The sports book needs new, fully digital TV screens. It's clean, and all, but it's dated. One of the higher end casino's should never look dated for long, imo. Wizard of Oz at the Sphere was expensive, but worth the price of admission. Real cool. Other than that, our group might be done with Vegas. We'll see. When I got in, I ordered a double jack and diet coke, a double makers, and a red bull, from the bar by the Aria sports book. 92 dollars, before gratuity. The service by the hostess at the Aria book where we paid for seats, was shitty and inconsistent with the information we got from our concierge host. Just expensive and stale and inept from a city and hotel that are supposed to be built on hospitality, there certainly didn't seem to be a lot of fucking hospitality. Everyone else's complaints about vegas Ive read here and elsewhere seem pretty accurate.

  10. exactly. Learn each parties main characters and who they need
  11. Just trying to keep you humble. In our operation every set-back or inconvenience is the grain cart driver’s fault. It is known.
  12. So the same guy who said this, is the same guy who was resting players because he thought we were going to be in the playoffs again?
  13. Marriage does that to a man.
  14. Welp. See you guys next season.

  16. I cannot rule out that the S&C is off, but I do not see the evidence for it. The DL has been really stout. The OL has been soft. If it was something simple like the team was not doing enough heavy squats, you would think it would show up across the board. You also have Stroh, who is as strong as an ox. I lean more to the techniques being taught or not taught on the OL
  17. The internet's current existence is to hate watch TV shows and comment about them. It's quite funny.
  18. You should post this in your Shame Gillis thread to really demonstrate his point lol
  19. 84/74 is a 91 heat index. Houston's 89/59 at noon today (per Weather Underground) is a 95 heat index. Small difference, but even if they were the same, I'd take the nighttime race there vs the daytime race here. I grew up in the Houston area & have spent a couple weeks in Thailand recently (pretty similar to Singapore), and there isn't too much between the two weather-wise. And re: the firesuit, I used to wear a much heavier, much less breathable one into fires in Austin, and I can tell you it was always worse in the daytime, even with slightly lower temps. Man, bunker gear soaks in the sunlight and holds heat like nobody's business. It's insane.
  20. Looks like peace deal progressing. Former State Dept guy likes what he sees.
