This is true. The Cowboys put themselves in these problems. they could have taken care of Dak, lamb, parsons, ect…years before they do and don’t. also yes, at some point, much like with the rams, the piper will come for the eagles. It may only be for a season, maybe 2, but it’s inevitable. anyways the only thing that excites me about this season is the potential for the offense to be really really fun if Dak is healthy. Lamb and Pickens are going to feed off each other. Ferg seems to play better with Dak, the OL isn’t trash it seems, and the running game, from all reports, is slightly better than we created. Blue will spring one long one every game or every other game IMO. Doesn’t mean they’re going on a run. They’ll just be fun

Most Quotable Comedies of the Last Decade

The nice guys only came out 9 years ago but no one watched that either. -
Most of them are independently wealthy or have day jobs that can be done remotely. Their families can join them in Illinois. This is too important.

So it's been another day. Any questions posed yet to anyone in the administration as to why they had the sex offender tag removed from Ghislaine Maxwell so that they could move her to a fancy camp with an open gate?

Most Quotable Comedies of the Last Decade

I dont know one person that’s seen any of those, much less quoted any. The funniest show in the past decade is easily Tires, my friends quote that more than anything else. -
Shit, I thought you were using a little bit of hyperbole. but nope. Looks like 5 projected starters out of 22.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I just do what I do. And if I've already written my most compelling song to others, I'm ok with that. I enjoy the creative process and outlet of songwriting/composing music that strikes a chord in myself. That is all the payoff I personally need.

the problem is the likelihood of recurrence and it seems like he's adamant about not doing surgery to fix whatever it is. this is going to shadow him even when/if he comes back.

The delta between how much work you put into this post and the post's value is absolute comedy gold.

I threw my father out of the house one time for similar behavior. I had young pre-toddler and had a full tear quadricep tendon rupture repaired the day before and my wife had to work so my father came over "to help." He said he would bring dinner, which consisted of raw steaks and potatoes that I had to cook. Then he sat and watched television while I took care of the baby. When I went to put the baby to bed (on crutches), he waved his wine glass at me and said "since you're up," so I threw him out instead of murdering him.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen

17 is a lot, that cannot be disputed. It's an interesting look into what roster building looks like these days when done properly. It's one part of the greater tapestry being woven, but it's informative nonetheless. 2021 - Sarkisian and company arrive and immediately assess their roster as fundamentally deficient. Options include forced attrition immediately or working to keep key talent happy by not burning the roster to the ground. Assessing the class of 2021, they mostly let the committed guys sign, feeling like some key elements were there. 2022 - Sign the most talented guys the program can, but also take some culture guys who can play if you squint hard enough. Got to get bigger on the OL. Push dead roster weight out. Get portal help ASAP. 2023-forward - Don't sign anyone who a coach can't stand up and swear to as a potential SEC starter. Don't load up on portal guys, difference makers only. No reason to really push guys out to clear roster space. Players will leave on their own via the portal for more PT. I view that class as a bit of an anomaly. Looking back, it was a bridge class. We didn't see it that way at the time. Interestingly, Bo Davis did. He told a buddy "hey, when we got to Tuscaloosa, we had to sign the John Square types then too. Gotta start somewhere." His takes from that cycle largely sucked, but Texas couldn't get in on the big time DLs yet. -

No, just selfish and stupid. They've always been this way. My MIL is one of the dumbest people I've ever met. But, at least she is sanctimonious about what she believes. I have been working on my "no I'm not smiling at her funeral" face for a while now. amen
