Baylor @ Texas, Big Monday disaster?

Ramey sizes up his man, bounces, jukes and then . . . does utterly nothing even remotely productive. He’s the Willie Mays Hayes of basketball.

With Ramey, you're almost always guaranteed to get:

1) An out-of-control drive leading to a turnover
2) A terrible pass leading to a turnover
3) A short jumper off the rim

That might have been the most pathetic display of offense I’ve seen in a college game this year.  And I’ve seen most of our games, so that’s saying something.  It’s a complete fire drill.

Everyone on the team acts like the ball is a live grenade when they get it in their hands

Horns on while trying to help visiting mom log onto AOL account. JFC life sucks.

How appropriate. Shaka’s a dial-up coach in a 5G world.

Sims the best athlete on the floor for Texas?  This must come as a complete shock to Derka.

This isn't fair.  Dial-up internet would have gotten at least one tournament win with all this talent.

Just FYI....

Fran is a coach. He’s part of the club. He’s not going to openly advocate for Shaka’s firing on air or social media.

Except for Sims.  Problem is getting it into his hands.

He called Shaka's team out for being soft and noncompetitive a few weeks ago.

Maybe Shaka takes the Mack approach to fixing systemic team softness - call the person who said the mean thing and demand an apology.

Loved frans comment about Texas can win if they execute on offense. When has Texas executed on offense the last 5 years?

Sounds like you're all for it.

It seems like all of your guards are 160 pounds. They must have paid Hudy a ton to steal her from KU.

Yes I heard that comment while watching the game. That still isn’t a comment that suggests he should be fired.

and this question (should Shaka be fired) is a consistent question asked by the PBP guys to the color analysts and no analyst has suggested he should. Instead the all advocate for Shaka to NOT be fired. The question is why, and I don’t think we will ever know that.

If we had one guy that was not like a panicked chihuahua with the ball we could win this game

sign of a Shaka Smart team: when nothing is there in transition, just force some something anyway, every single time. don't even think about dribbling back out and running offense. jesus.

I’ve not seen any evidence there is an offense to be run. Is havoc an offensive strategy now?

Baylor doesn't even look like they should be ranked.

I'm convinced they're point shaving.

The only reason the margin is under 20 is that Baylor’s asleep. Any decent team would be leading them right now. Of course, a decent team they’d be taking much more seriously.

Are you suggesting that the Baylor athletic department is involved in something immoral?

That is a Christian institution, sir.

He does not deserve playing time. He's been awful tonight.

2 straight home games where the visiting teams fans take over our own arena.

that alone should get him fired.

Coleman is so bad. That he’s averaged over 30 minutes and double figures tells me everything I need to know about this era of basketball.

I’ve seen him dribble aimlessly all night. I’ve never seen a worse collection of guards on a Texas team.
