It’s really weird reading realistic, knowledgeable fan posts from other schools after reading the aggy delusion threads. It’s like night and day.21 points

yall make fun of daddy98 but there's a shitton of daddy98s on this board. the coach on this staff whose eval i trust the most is Hand. no one is perfect in evals and offer, but that dude did wonders for this line. last year's success is mostly on him, the o line, and sam. i'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt on lindberg.15 points

I'm not sure it's irony or just sad, but Republicans are currently more outraged that AOC called border holding facilities "concentration camps" than they are outraged at what's going on within. What a fucking world. Fuck you, Republicans. Every fucking one of you.14 points

I keep coming back to an interview Lindberg had way back where he basically laid all of this out. Before his Stanford visit. Said that Texas was his leader. Said Texas A&M's O-line coach last year was awful. Said even if he liked the Stanford visit, Texas would still probably lead. And said he wanted to go on all his visits. The kid isn't doing anything I wouldn't do. Be honest and straightforward, enjoy your visits, then announce before you senior season. I won't be that excited if he chooses Texas or that excited if he doesn't, but he seems like a good prospect and normal recruit. Also, I'm okay taking an interior-line heavy class this year since last year was essentially 4 tackles and no interior guys.11 points

Really bizarre reading rational mod posts. You get so used to the OUsux and aggy sites, it's important to remember that not every human is retarded.10 points

Also, Evans is holding that money weirder than I've ever seen anyone hold money. Dude is going to have major ball security issues in college, so it's a good thing we're not recruiting him anymore because we know that shit doesn't fly with Herman.9 points

CTJ said something cynical and it infects the group. He's the recruiting board tastemaker.9 points

My bad. Benjamin Franklin and Andrew Jackson look exactly the same to me.8 points

Do I have to do everything myself? There are 2 hundreds (marked with blue numbers) and either 12 or 13 twenties (marked in red). So it's either $440 or $460. Again, not some unbelievable amount of money, although more than CTJ's plain cheerios-eating ass had when he was Evans's age.8 points

I'm in Kamp Karic. I watched the first handful of plays on 247 and he's a bully on the field. In his photo, he looks like he's heading to burn his neighbor's barn with the animals locked inside. I get the feeling you shouldn't mess with his sister, and you really can't do anything about it if he wants to mess with yours. On an official visit somewhere with Chad, you can see them sitting together in a film room. Chad: How'd you like your cookie cake? Karic turns his head slowly to look Chad up and down. Cookies make you soft. I fed mine to a rat. A rat? Then I ate the rat. Protein makes you strong. Um. Did you kill and cook the rat? The corner of Karic's mouth bends slightly upward. He slowly turns away from Chad.8 points

I was at a luncheon today for the AHA, where Lee Corso was getting an award. One of the chairs is a huge aggy fan and loves all things Jimbo. The MC asked Lee about Jimbo and he started in on how great Texas is and what great things we are doing and how Clemson, Bama, USC, Texas and Ohio State are great. Mr. Corso made my day.7 points

The party of family of family values they said. Prostitutes, cucks, hush money....meanwhile they had the nerve to turn this man into satan.7 points

There are plenty of groups doing this, and they're doing AMAZING work -- check out Raices, Angry Tias and Abuelas, and Catholic Charities (we've given to and worked with all three). By the way, Raices had a short fundraising effort that blew away the amount that the private "wall" fundraiser raised. The other thing that really does amaze me is the incredible inconsistency on the entire issue of refugees and immigrants. On the one hand, we have people -- the Trumpkin right -- who loudly proclaim to be the holiest of the holy Christians, led by a president who was annointed by God for that purpose (they LITERALLY SAY this). I mean, we have guys like Franklin Graham and Robert Jeffress shouting this stuff from the mountaintops. Let there be no doubt, Trumpism is a CHRISTIAN MOVEMENT, they've made that loud and clear. So we have Christians.....who aren't just complaining, but are enraged.....by the prospect of [checks notes] caring for desperate refugees and immigrants seeking safety and security. Huh. I mean, I'm not the best Christian. But even I figured out that the words of this dude called Christ probably should have some relevance. AND, if you're going to declare that you are governing based on your faith, you're gonna get called on it. Cuz that Christ guy said some wacky shit about this exact issue: So, when purported "Christians" ask you the histrionic question "WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF 100K JUST SHOWED UP IN AUSTIN?".....isn't the Christian answer "well, I'd work to shelter and feed and clothe them?" And when the histrionic "Christians" say "but we don't have the resources!"....sure we do. What they mean is "we don't have the resources to care for these people without making some kind of sacrifice to our pretty damned high standard of living." But nobody said caring for your fellow man should be done, but only if it doesn't require sacrifice on your part. Christ sure didn't. Hell, Christ wants you to give someone your coat AND shirt. So, be an immigration-hysterical Trumpkin. Or be a Christian. Just know that you can't be both, no matter how many times you say otherwise. And the only oil Trump has been annointed with is whatever drips into his lap from his McDonalds meal.7 points

oh boo hoo, Here are a few more irrelevancies for you. You probably believe, for example, that charity and private giving should play a central role in providing services. I agree with you. You also want the deficit to go down. I agree with that too. Guess what, though: that dumb tax bill you supported caused giving to fall and caused the National deficit to climb by 20%, all that despite the fact that we are in an economic expansion, and both of those numbers should be going the opposite direction. Of course, you knew all this before you supported the bill, but you supported it anyway, because Republican. When your party makes you stupid and damages the things you think you care about, it's because your party separated you from your interests. Sorry if that hurts your feels.7 points

I hate the apparently new trend of using "with that said" as worthless throat-clearing and not an actual transition to different content/substance. What's next? Steve is a great guy. But with all due respect, I really like him.5 points

Yeah. But that doesn't mean he's going to come in ahead of someone who's been with Yancy for 3-4 years, been on a college nutrition plan for several years and have been coached by Hand for a couple. Everything you just mentioned might be 100% true, but that doesn't mean an 18 year old Tommy Brockermeyer will be ahead of a several year head start Christian Jones, Junior Angilau, or Tyler Johnson,5 points
-
What? Nah. He plays against TAPPS competition now and he'll have bluechip tackles who've spent years in the program ahead of him then. As it should be.5 points

He's said since the beginning that he will take all his visits and then commit. Y'all are acting like aggy. I don't think he's a 5 star prospect but not sure what all the bitching is about. Majors got whipped at every camp I've seen yet no one here is bitching. These camp settings aren't friendly to the OL. The majority of the state has yet to commit. It's not like he's dragging this out to signing day. If he commits great, if not, we have the tackle prospect we seem to be going after.5 points

Or...and I’m just spitballin’ here...we could actually pursue a comprehensive, forward-thinking immigration policy that doesn’t do really stupid things, like cutting off funds to the nations many of these people come from, thus further destabilizing the countries...leading to more refugees. You’re not going to find “open borders” advocates around here. Those only exist in the warped brains of trumpkins, who think that the only two options are purposeful cruelty to serve as a deterrent (by the way, GREAT plan, it’s working brilliantly, everyone stopped coming, right?) or complete open borders. The rest of us will have an adult conversation about how to address the current situation and our broken system, we’ll leave you in your crib smearing feces all over yourself.5 points

This just has to stop. You idiot fucking Trumpkins and your own the libs shit has gone far enough. It's not clever, funny, creative or really anything other than un-American. This shit needs to end. You are, and I mean anyone not actively trying to get this traitorous asshole removed from office, doing a great disservice to the generations coming after us. Our country is being divided and destroyed by a draft-dodging coward who is stealing money from all of us every single day he remains in Washington. We are witnessing our republic, and what it still stands for, being a laughingstock and a joke around the world. Someone in Washington has to step up on the Democratic side and just say "fuck it, you are not torching the rest of our country." I don't care who does it. This is beyond embarrassing to see that what is supporting this shitstain is able to have a voice due to this fat fucking retard that even Bret Bielema would be ashamed of.5 points

biden isn't sexist, he just comments on physical appearance when addressing any woman. biden isn't sexually inappropriate, he just feels and gropes women (and girls) in an uncomfortable and inappropriate way. biden isn't racist, he just makes racist remarks, or aligns himself with others that are racists. biden isn't out of touch, he's just really fucking ridiculously extremely out of touch. biden isn't a bad guy, he's just not suitable to be our next president. especially considering the alternatives right in front of us.4 points

Hauled the boat out two weeks ago for a bottom job, port saildrive work (new gasket, ring, and valve), and replaced two thruhulls. We brought her back yesterday and were soon greeted by this: There was no getting around it. Sanibel Island was to our starboard and the storm extended far to the south off our port. Fortunately we caught just the northern tip of it and only had bad weather for an hour. Once we got past it we had great sailing. 15-20 knots of wind on our beam for our ~40 mile trip past Captiva and Cayo Costa and into Charlotte Harbor.4 points

Brock isn't going to be the best tackle on the roster when he gets to UT. He's going to be the best player on the entire team. Wouldn't surprise me if he's like Ron Powlus and wins multiple Heismans.4 points

Donald Trump has to be one of the 5 greatest con-men in the history of the world, and that's saying something. It boggles the mind how he can get all of these big Southern dummies to buy into his shit and treat him as the second coming Trump is as New York as you can get. Born and raised. He's lived in big penthouses in Manhattan all his adult life, and looked down on everybody else. Especially rednecks from SEC country. He couldn't give a rat's ass about these hillbillies. Trump probably couldn't sing any lyrics from Freebird or Sweet Home Alabama. And yet here they are hootin' and hollerin' and thanking sweet baby Jesus for their lord and savior Donald f'ing Trump. It's impressive. It just flat out is. And it's scary.4 points
