Now would be a good time for Anthony Hill to jump on board.29 points

He has his problems, but he’s building a legit roster, he’s a likable guy and his players seem to love him. I hope he’s successful here.28 points

I was Basil Your Face on the old site and told you fools when I got got stage three butt cancer in 2017. Had surgery and chemo and a bunch of other stuff. The surveillance window is five years for me. I have an appointment with my primary care cancer doc on Tuesday to discuss the CT scan I had last Wednesday. For reasons I can’t fathom MDAnderson decided to send me my results in advance - “no evidence is metastatic disease.” I’m done. Recurrence chances now are the same as anyone else getting it in the first place. Patient number 2144027 (a number I’ve repeated hundreds of times and will never forget) will be discharged. Cancer sucks but is often won. Cheers. Bijan fucks.27 points

We covered despite giving them 10 points straight up. Sark won despite being down at the half. This was a wonderful fucking win23 points

Most of you didn’t think this team could win 7 games. We win 8 and now y’all are complaining we didn’t win 10. Please remember this team was 5-7 last season. Take the 3 game improvement and stfu.21 points

Excellent win for the program. Eight Win Steve has a great chance to continue his learning curve jump in the bowl game. I was hoping for playoff contention but my expectations were below that. Sarkisian will have a war chest to retain, attract and recruit this cycle. There won’t be much public about it, as that is key IP. He needs to build on this thing and continue to raise the floor of the program while he learns to win consistently.20 points

He was 12-16 for 200 yards and made 1 bad throw all game, while his protection was shit. Criticize him if you want for the grounding but three guys were in the backfield literally before a One Mississippi count was made. The strip sack TO needs to be thrown out of bounds or eaten, but that was also shit protection. Getting mad at the Oline for false starting 3 plays in a row (4th down and 2 and then the first two plays of the next possession) was human reaction to an absurd turn of events. He played winning ish football today. He played really well against Bama and OU, he was ok against ULM and Baylor, he was a non factor but didn’t hurt us against Kansas, he was fine against KSU. He shit the bed throughly and completely against TCU and Boone Pickens State. He’s basically the equivalent to a true freshman that got a spring under his belt because he graduated early- exactly the timeline Arch will be on. He needs to get a lot better over the off-season. He has the tools to do it. If he does we will be awesome (provided we fill some holes in the portal which we should) and If he doesn’t the Arch experience will likely start a little earlier than we planned. It’s few and far between when a True (ish) freshman plays championship quality football from the word go. He should be fine. Anyone saying he can’t be the guy after this year either knows the future or has way more certainty than they ought to have.19 points

Jones’ pancake block on #13 was fucking borderline erotic. I watched the replay 10 times and some precum came out, and usually that only happens when a girl accidentally brushes up against me.19 points

@Bruh Manrunning here to hype the Miami and Arkansas wins as "top 10 wins" aged about as well as his takes on aggy. Miami is 5-6 and Arkansas finished the year 6-6.17 points

Fucking insufferable. These guys have shown improvement from day one, their youth started to show as the year went on, but they finished strong when they could have easily quit. We had every reason to quit in this game, but ended up covering and winning with possession of the ball in the red zone. Give the man his credit17 points

If Anthony Hill doesn't commit to Texas after the improvement on defense and the year Ford had he was never coming here. Texas has done plenty to win that recruitment.16 points

Don’t care about any of the negative shit right now. Texas beat fucking Baylor and I’m going to get my drunk on.16 points

We won in a way that Texas is chronically accused of not being able to. We fucking bowed up on defense and run game and beat those mother fuckers for a quarter and a half. A whole lot of folks, legitimately cuz they ran twice as many plays as we did, wrote that defense off as having 'quit, you can see it in their body language' In the end, it was Baylor who got tired of getting fucking hit and didn't answer the bell. Obviously need serious work on our passing game........all of it but #0 and #4. But, fuck that felt good......especially going up against the most asinine officiating we've run up against, and we've run up against some bullshit before. The Bijan chant at the end will be something everyone who heard it will ALWAYS remember, ....just an epoch moment. Well done, boyz Hook 'Em14 points

I hear some of you lumping TCU in as a win if we just "runt the danged bawl" but they had schemed our shit. Bijan gave an interview where he basically said "it wasn't there and we didn't have an answer." In that case the only answer was try to open it up with the pass but the passing game wasn't there. I agree that we should have run more against OSU.14 points

How can anyone feel anything but optimistic right now? We lost some winnable games this year and 8-4 isn’t where we ultimately need to be, but we are markedly better than last year in both record and the eye test. Sark (and his staff) rebuilt the lines on both sides of the ball and improved the defense quickly. Culture seems better from the outside, recruiting is going fine, and NIL is and will be a big strength for us. We have every reason as fans to expect that we’ll be a top 10 team next year.13 points

Derka, dude He was 12 of 16 today for 194 yards. He had some brain farts under some intense pressure. He wasn't any worse overall than Shapen (who won the fucking Big 12 championship last year and for at least the first 3 quarters today had time to bake cookies back there and yet went 18/36 with 2 TDs and a pick) It's not obvious what book is going to be written at all. Anybody saying one way or another at this point (including you) is just using the Internet "I'll shout the loudest and see if it that's enough to win the argument" gambit.13 points

This is my favorite. When people complain about a player not showing emotion and then turn around and complain when they do show emotion. Peak surly. It’s football. There’s passion in the heat of the moment. Get over it.13 points

He was 5/8 for 113 yards in the first half. His 3 incomplete were hitting JTS in the hands, overthrown fade in the endzone and the stupid grounding call. Where he was an issue was his 4 rushing attempts for I think -23 yards? Our OL does him no favors in pass blocking, and when he was given enough time he made good decisions. It was when he was pressured that he shit the bed. I contend, and I’m sure I’m in the vast minority here on this board and will be the subject of much derision and ridicule for this, but I contend that his issues are between his ears and they’re due to the constant fire he is under combined with his injury. To me, he plays like someone that is terrified of re-injuring that collarbone and it has completely crushed him mentally. He knows that he is one hit away from being done for the year and it has affected his play as such. The kid never faced a shred of adversity before, and this is constantly looming. He has the tools. Better tools than most D-1 qb’s out there.12 points

Its a REALLY negative board. I don't spend too much time on it during the game.12 points

Fuck the haters, good season fellas 8-4 is pretty fucking solid for all the fucking youth we have. We didn't get blown out once even though TCU felt like one. We basically shut out two teams that beat us last year. Showed well against Bama, blew out OU. Hopefully we get a shot at the Big 12 title, hopefully Quinn resets himself ahead of the bowl game. True. But Jimbo is also a rape enabler, he just isn’t 70. Aggy didn’t even blink at that. Durkin killed a player. Aggy didn’t blink at that. If they think it’s to their advantage, they don’t care. Despite all their protestations, they’re a gutter-level institution. There’s no corner they won’t cut. There’s no lie they won’t tell if they think it advances their “legend.”12 points
