Would be great news.  He's saying Loreal wants to leave or cost him this job.

The population of the world is over 7 billion. About half of that population is female.

Kinda roundabout way to say that you shouldn't assume that only one of them could be behind that comment.

All I would say to that is , you’re right but what if we were the Georgia, and Sark is our Mark Richt? Do we stay with Sark just cause we’re back winning or do we want more??

 Definitely fair.

Some issues have been present throughout Sarks career.

Penalties, under performance from top rated QBs, offensive line issues, red zone issues, in game adjustment issues and player development. They've never improved and pretty easy to argue that they've gotten markedly worse in some cases.

So while there have absolutely been improvements in results and elsewhere, there are equally glaring issues that are pretty fundamental parts of coaching that have show zero improvement.

Just listened to the Taaffe post game interview. Why is there some weird unspoken rule to just say "this season we fuckin failed. Our goals here are always to play for championships and this year we failed to deliver."

Instead we get "this season was a disappointment? To who?" Ummm if you're not disappointed in whatever the fuck you put on the field in 2025 then holy shit.

Naw, I didn't forget it, just left it out cause I'd get jumped on for "spreading rumors" or being a gossip girl or some such shit.

I stuck to football issues cause those alone are enough reason and they are abundant.

i really don't give a shit any more

i turned the Georgia game off after the first quarter, when I realized that with 2 weeks to prepare and the season on the line, we had no gameplan, and were utterly unprepared for an opponent who was clearly prepared for us

I'd make shit up at this point if it meant Sark was gone, and I really, Really, REALLY wanted him to succeed. But I don't have to. Either other people are far better at this than I am... or we haven't even heard half the shit that's fucking our program.

I feel so fucking sorry for our players. They came here to learn from some coaches who, when they are focused on their jobs, are very good at them. But this year the staff, especially the guy at the top, absolutely dropped the ball.

Let's get in on the Joey Freshwater sweepstakes. Even if we don't hire him, let's get in the game to raise the price if hiring him so whoever does goes bankrupt.

Herman was a spasm of BMD, I think.  Perrin was a de facto BMD to the point of it being a hive mind.

No one knows for sure, but I think Eltife and Hartzell took Saban's recommendation of Sark and thought it made sense, while CDC was doing something else, Franklin or Dykes.

Mack was Hicks' guy while Deloss was interviewing Barnett.

It's not LSU-level shitshow, but it's not been a model of analytical consistency or well-defined responsibility.  And two of LSU's dumber hires, Miles and Orgeron, have NCs to show for it.

It won’t have to be for cause. It will be presented in a way that it’s in his careers best interest to go away quietly

You could get fired for cause if you have a kink for watching your wife get fucked by other dudes and one of those other dudes is a student of yours.

Put another way: for the sark defenders if Sark and UT were to part ways what would be an acceptable enough reason for some of you?

Sark's buyout is $36M after next year. Aren't we still paying something to Herman? We're not taking on a $15M buyout and a $12M+ annual salary to get Cignetti. Not a chance.

Sounds good. Let's do it. But there's basically zero chance Freeman leaves Notre Dame for any other college job, much less ours.

True but hey, with this college football landscape, you never know and Freeman seems like the ultimate competitor, so why not do it in the best conference?!

I got negged on the Arch thread for supporting him transferring to another school should Sark return. Negged for wanting a 20 something to take the opportunity to explore his career potential at a place better suited for such. Not just one either.

That's toxic behavior and mindset.

I'm not bagging on Taaffe's comments either cause I'm confident he's given his talking points and he's just trying to do his best given the shit laid at his table.

I wanted to like Sark and like you absolutely was cheering him on to succeed for Texas benefit, the players, for his and mine.

It's a failure. I'm done.

Are you sure?

Well, no, but usually when a teacher and a student are involved romantically or sexually it doesn't end well. Obviously I'm not saying Sark ever did anything improper. I was only highlighting a situation where marital issues could get someone fired, connecting the dots between a fireable offense and a marital issue. Like, if a professor having an affair with a student gets him fired, surely a professor encouraging a student and his wife to be intimate would have the same result.

so there is like 4 that are winning. yeah theres a few that will have a winning record. there a few very prominent coaches that wont make the playoffs.

A poster pointed out sark could call plays in the NFL since many coaches do. You then said “no they don’t”. A poster then listed a long list of nfl coaches who call their own plays. You were wrong. Take the loss pussy.
