I came in here to tell you pussy ass bitches what time it is. Stop playing with your sandy vaginas and belly up you cowards.

Texas might just beat MSU by 6 TDs and all you sad little girls will be all, yeah man I called it.

Texas might squeak out another mind bendingly bad one cause of our D.

Texas could end up losing.

What I'm getting at is, I know I don't have a clue WTF is gonna happen, but I ain't crying about it.

I think we're going to play Vanderbilt a lot better than some expect.  NOT having to travel 1000+ miles, as the team did against tOSU, Florida, and Kentucky, is going to make a difference.

Pre-season everyone talked about the massive amount of travel this team would face and sort of shrugged it off.  That was silly.  It absolutely makes a difference.

It does for some teams, I think it's a cultural thing.

I do know a lot of the guys are a lot more sensitive to the optics right now than usual. I think that plays a lot into their overall confidence and comfort level when traveling.

Some of these guys have built up enough reputation and good will that they are sort of immune to it, a lot of the offense doesn't have that privilege.

I know its a week out but the SEC twitter reporting Texas Vandy gametime now being optioned pending results of this weekend.  If we can get a W (big IF) and Vandy holds serve, we may get a night game or at worst 2:30.

Night game with a top 10 team would be great.

That would be good. An 11am game the morning after Halloween would suck.

That's the optmist case for Sark isn't a complete moron and hasn't forgotten how to coordinate offense. I'm not saying I believe it, but we have what 2 guys back that played much last year- 1 of whom (trey) hasn't played much this year. But yeah, I sure wouldn't want to rest on this hope.

We're going to smoke Vandy. I'm worried about Georgia and aggy.

I'm not worried about the ags or pigs.  Home games are gonna be good for us.

Georgia, on the other hand...

Where are you seeing this?  Pretty sure the * for our game only applies to which network the game will be shown.

Meh. He’ll get 3 carries at 6 yards a clip and get hurt or Sark will sit him in case he gets hurt. Then, we start chucking it deep

It was a culture win for the defense.  They basically played with special teams and thats it lol.

Special teams and the D kept us in last week's game, simple as that.  You could almost count the blou win IMO as well.  Sooner or later one of these two isn't gonna show up.  When that happens, it will be sad day on the 40.  I'd expect another low scoring affair and a disappointed ride home from Starkville.  One thing is for sure though, the games ahead will not get any easier.  I venture to say that "all the white meat is gone and nothing left but the backs and necks."

It’s 100% a culture win for the defense. They were out the for 40+ minutes of the game. The offense did them zero favors and couldn’t sustain any meaningful drives.

Want to know how we know co-ed 3rd grade kickball was the peak of your athletic career without telling us?

The defense also gave up 400 yards of offense, 26 first downs and an 80% completion rate to a RS Freshman QB and an offense not even in the top 100. The Texas defense was on the field for 40+ minutes because they couldn't ever get a 3 & out. It also put the offense in bad starting position multiple times making things even worse for an offense that already sucks.

That was not a culture win for the defense. The SEC Roll Call video explains exactly why KY lost, not why Texas won. The Texas D went 100% in on KY running it right into the strength of the D. Anything else Texas loses that game, and KY scores 20+ in regulation if they had a coach with a brain. Thankfully Texas was playing the dumbest Stoops that's ever lived.

You can’t just casually look at the total yardage stats a judge a defense. There is far more context to it. The defense held KY to 7-18 on third downs and 1-3 on fourth downs. Getting off the field wasn’t a problem until very late in the game where fatigue and pressure started to mount. The problem wasn’t getting OFF the field. The problem was constantly having the get back on the field because our offense literally couldn’t do anything in the second half. That shit wears on you as a defender. We held KY to zero points until 4:15 left in Q3 and out of the EZ until 12:04 left in the game. That should be more than enough to have KY buried by 2-3 scores at that point in the game. They did plenty to win the game.

KY also recovered all two of their muffs and three of their own fumbles. That kind of luck is unheard of. Maybe they can work on falling in the football batter, but that’s an easy fix.

Lastly, I don’t actually think we have an “elite” defensive roster this year. I think they’re very good but the DTs are a downgrade from what we’ve had 2022-2024. They played well enough with the talent they have. They did more than enough to put us in a position to win on Saturday night and did make the plays that actually won us the game. It’s a damn shame they’re paired with a 2014/2017 levels of incompetence on offense.

Asterisks notes Game Time and Network. So I’m assuming it’s not just a channel hold…the fact it says pending results of this weekend , I interpret it was time may be changed.  Could be wrong though

It'a a culture win bc the culture overcame the awful game management and play calling and won anyway.

I think there is something to be said for this observation. Take a look at other teams who started the season highly ranked, lost an early game, and then just imploded once their bubble was burst (Clemson, Penn State, FSU). This team still seems like it is battling, even if on one unit the battle is primarily against ourselves. At some point that may give out, but some credit is due to the players for playing hard this long. A team that has quit doesn’t make that goal line stand in OT last week.

All 11 am games suck, but why would it matter if it's the day after Halloween?  Would you have to curtail your trick-or-treating or something?

Defense needs to get a little better falling on fumbles.  Needs to tighten up at end of half.  But talking about these things seems kind of nitpicky compared to the problems on offense.  Defense is still a championship quality unit, and season would have much different outlook with even average offense.

Guessing it is concern student attendance would suck

One of the fumbles the D looked to be celebrating the act of creating the fumble va falling on it.

My electronic tickets already say 11:00.

It would say TBD or list the various windows it could fall in if the game wasn't already confirmed for 11.  Our graphic would look like the last 2 in the picture with multiple times/channel options that would be finalized next week

The reason the * says time AND network is because of South Carolina/Ole Miss and OU/Tenn having multiple options
