All that’s good. And true.

But we also we shouldn’t schedule potential losses and have no margin of error.

If we don’t see that there is literally no value in those games anymore when it comes to the making the playoffs then we’re blind. Sorry.

I want quality OOC games. I want Texas to not lose to teams like Florida and not go to overtime with other shit teams. I want Texas to recruit, coach, and play with the discipline necessary to not allow one OOC game keep them out of the expanded playoff.

Fuck scheduling shit teams for wins and then getting exposed like aggy consistently does.

aggy scheduling and beating Notre Dame might be the only reason they're still in the playoff picture.

Nope. An 11-1 SEC team is getting in every time. Not even a question.

Maybe it should be but it's not.

I think Vandy beating Tennessee may just about do it

I think we are passing Vandy either way, them winning might even boost the story of the teams we beat.

The team we embarrassed head to head. I think not.

With Sark at the helm, every game seems like a potential loss. We can’t exactly avoid the Mississippi States and Kentuckys of the SEC.

Eat a dick bitch

Them winning by multiple scores against a ranked team when they were already ahead of us isn't great.

Might need both OU and Bama to lose instead of just one.

I see value in watching Texas Football play good teams... I do not want to see NMSU, UTEP, UTSA. Rice or UNT.  I just don't.

I don't think about the playoffs while watching those games. I think about football.

Yeah, we needed them to barely win if they were going to win.

Thankfully, OU is trying to lose.

We also beat the #3 team by multiple scores just yesterday.

How can you still be this miserable? Are you an Aggy?

I mean that’s cool. And I’d rather play them too.

However the goal is to make the playoffs and win a title. So there is no incentive to play them if the rankings hold.

My understanding is the committee said that they would take scheduling/playing such games into consideration for their rankings.

If Texas ends up missing out on the playoffs while a team like BYU gets in, then that's going to create a lot of conversation on this subject.

Agree. The committee, so far, lied.

No, it’s not great. But we were ranked pretty close to them already and we added a double digit win over a top 10 team AND we own the H2H. That should be enough sort out two similarly ranked teams.

I like tree 🌲.

It’s big. Strong. Roots are deep. Doesn’t believe in fake things like leprechauns.

I’d they don’t move us ahead of them it will be a clear shot across the bow of “wins don’t matter/head to heads don’t matter/who you play doesn’t matter/who you lose to doesn’t matter”.

Basically play nobodies and only lose 2 or less conference games and you’re in.

Is there anything that says A&M has to be in the playoff?? We beat them. Their schedule was absolute trash. We are better. Committee should leave them out based on strength of schedule alone.

Remind me again how I got to the point of cheering for fake UT and their generic orange and for fucking Auburn to get me off? Don’t make me deal with this playoff committee Politik-Bureau. I want to hang with the aristocrats.

I’m not miserable. The pussies crying about OOC scheduling and spending the weekend trying to figure out all the ways Texas could possibly get in are miserable. I’ve accepted that Texas controlled its fate this season and failed to take advantage. I’m a realist. If we’re being real, Texas probably could have at least played for the last two national championships if it wasn’t for Sark’s stubbornness.

Texas has consistently underperformed and that’s the problem. Ohio State fans aren’t complaining about scheduling potential losses, because they fucking win.
