We are gonna be up 17 to 0 before Georgia wages a furious comeback to make it 22-20 with Georgia in the lead. We kick last second FG in regulation with Shipley who misses a FG earlier in the game. We will win this shit. 23-22 Texas. Suck it, Kirby, you four-flushing asshole.

I feel good about this game. Sark has had a bye week to prepare. He was bested by Kirby last year twice and he will be fucking ready with Milwee up in the booth.

we gonna win. Whether my score prediction is shit it doesn’t matter. We are winning this mofo. 🤘🏼

This is either going to be a great thing or a terrible thing. We'll either end up with lethal Sark, or we'll get an overly contrived and forced game plan that rivals the overthinking of Vizzini in the "Battle of the Wits" scene in The Princess Bride.

After the Bert years, I’m not complaining.

Only his last year was bad. He was a 80%+ kicker his first two years, until Sark mindfucked him by continually failing on 4th downs instead of letting him kick it.

Bert talk not going away.

And Shipley is 77.8% but you'd think he does nothing but miss

3 of his misses were from 50+

Or was he continually going for it on 4th down because his kicker wasn't good? 6-14 from 40+ yards....I'd be going for it more too.

Did Mario Cristobal also mindfuck him? Is that why Auburn went to Miami and then lost the kicking battle to a FAU transfer that went 2 for 7 in 2024?

I think Shipley is fine, but he doesn't look like a Simpson's character which is a bit disappointing.

Sark was going for fourth downs when Bert could've had attempts under 40, which was his sweet spot. Asking Bert to kick it over 40 was always going to be trouble. Not to mention all the times the OL false started during his first attempts.

He is a college kicker at the P4 level. He should be putting the ball through the uprights at a 75+% clip on pretty much anything under 50 yards. You shouldn't need a vote of confidence from your coach to do that.

Trying to blame that on anyone other than himself is just excuse-making.

I mean, you're the one who's pretending Bert is awful again this year, because he's sitting behind a "FAU transfer who went 2-7 in 2024". That same 2-7 guy is now 9-10 with a long of 53 and 29/29 in XP, so yeah, obviously Bert is going to stay the backup.

He had one shank.  Everything else has been nails <50yds

the shank from 29 was inexplicable.  luckily it didn't cost us.  I thought he'd be better from 50+ but I still feel he's good if we need him to win a game.  His kicks don't feel to be all over the place.  He was pushing in the Vandy game some but it was the same "push" most of the game.  I'd rather have that than Bert who you never knew whether his kick would be a push or a pull.  really hard to correct that.
