SEC runner up is possibly be out.

JMU or Tulane possibly in.

The fact that we aren’t even being mentioned as a possible longshot should be enough for any of y’all hanging on to hope to give it up.

The committee is not gonna just invite itself to more controversy to put us in.

They have no path away from an extremely controversial selection this year

This committee didn't watch anything they aren't taking their jobs seriously and they don't understand that the entire point of a beauty contest and a rotating committee is so you can justify everything out loud and tell people what the committee likes etc.

This whole mysterious thing where they dintbhave to explain themselves leads to a lack of accountability or explanation and makes the whole thing a net negative on the entertainment side of things.

This is all for show. ESPN loves these weekly selection shows. It creates week long discussions. If they implemented a real playoffs like FCS, all that goes away. ESPN doesn't want that. they don't give a damn about the most deserving teams getting in. I don't know of any sport in this planet that operates like the FBS division of college football.

Kirby will go very conservative. It ain’t Texas on that other sideline.

Like going for it on the 50 on 4th down?

Agreed. Not saying we should take their spot since we also have 3 losses but 3 losses is 3 losses. If you say losing this game doesn't matter at all, then I'm not sure the importance of this game other than teams who absolutely need it to get in like Duke and BYU. But the committee just punished BYU for losing their game, no way are they win.

I feel they need to just get this to 24 teams do away with this CCG weekend. Playoffs begin this week. 24 teams with no CCG weekend is really no different than 12 teams with this CCG non playoff week. This completely takes the committee out the mix. Every single deserving team gets in and slug it out in a real playoffs like the FCS has been doing forever.

Agreed.  It works in FCS and below.

This committee is clueless and borderline corrupt.

Any committee led by a University of Arkansas official should be considered suspect.

Bama got to be really pissed at us for beating aggy right about now.

The irony is that Georgia fans were rooting really hard for aggy.  They did not want to play Bama.

Not really. It was a 4 point game in the 4th quarter until Georgia went all out on some great 4th downs and a onside kick. BYU was never in the game

Yeah...scoreboard vs eye test.

We would have rolled BYU, too.

Penalizing a completely legal tackle just because it's "low" and on a QB remains one of the dumber decisions by the NCAA and NFL rules commitees.

And it's always been this way... But with 24x7 need for eyes, it's on nitrous.

Agreed.  But even the simple little 4th down sneak.  Perfectly blocked, well executed, just set up for success before the ball even snapped.

Then you have whatever clown shit QB draw Sark tried running against uga lol

That  FB run against Aggy was exquisitely blocked and perfectly executed. Time to give Sark some props.

Gave him plenty of props for that game, but I want to see it against truly elite teams.

yea, texas replacing ohio state with Texas A&M Kingsville and getting to 10 wins puts us in over Notre Dame on  resume alone

we'd be on the 10-2 graphic they just showed with numbers better than ND and Miami and better or very close to Bama.

Georgia would beat aggy worse than we did.  Like 38-13.
