Thanks, that is good info.

Yes, I understand the university needs concrete evidence or they open themselves up to litigation, and that their access was limited.

Regardless, it sure does seem like they were running a clown-show of an athletic department over there.

Them, sparty, psu. Something about those large Midwest schools in small towns.

1. This falls under the “Is it that fucking hard to just rub one out?” You are willing to lose it all over something that could have been resolved with some lotion in a hot shower.

2. Michigan has been walking around like high clergy as a public Ivy who can have it all. lol. They ain’t no better than LSU or ARKY.

He doesn’t even need to rub one out.  Just be discreet and don’t be a beta when the other side ends it

Clearly Paige had an eye for talent, being so involved in recruiting.  She was so good at it that  Moore paid 45k and made her his bottom bitch.

Green is for the money, and gold is for the honey.

But he became the bitch when she dumped him?

I think her dad works fo the bears so maybe she knows some things about football?  Ir are you the type to think women have no place in sports?

As far as both Moore and his girlfriend/paid assistant not knowing they were violating any established rules here I am laughing. According to most articles there were a couple of investigations launched into his extracurricular activities. When asked in October they both lied about it allegedly. But it appears after they lied the university brought in an outside firm to further investigate. If you had no idea you were in the wrong you’d be like “yeah I’m banging her and gave her a raise. Is that wrong?” And there is no oversight from the department? Her salary doubles and no questions are asked from a financial perspective. I just call bullshit on this whole thing. Depending on what the AD knows and or has covered up for firing him could bring out even more shit. What a mess. I see no way forward other than a clean slate as much as legally possible.

He could have fucked any number of random blondes in Ann Arbor and not been fired with cause. He fucked someone on staff which is why he’s in far deeper shit. Then using university money to raise her salary. He could have cut a check to her for $50k like us regulars might loan a friend $20 but he used university funds. That and his butter knife breakdown is why he might not coach again. He could get away with straight up infidelity, it happens all the time, it’s the other shit that brought him down. And even still I bet he’s working again in college football in a few years.

Not to nitpick, but 50k is almost 1% of his annual salary.   Between being a lawyer and stating that loaning $20 is analogous to $50,000 then you sir are truly a surlyite and very much at home despite your alma mater.

Yeah one of the reasons you bring in a lawyer and HR when you dismiss an employee is they're the ones to make sure everything is appropriately documented and handled. The AD skipping that part, when he surely knows better, is a huge red flag.

Yeah. I cannot see it any other way. He has to be gone whether forced to resign or outright fired. Just wonder if other people beyond the AD will lose their jobs as well. You cannot fix it if you don’t clean house. Bring in new people. It’s not as though the Harbaugh cheating scandal or Moore’s scandal and whatever corruption falls out from that will ever be forgotten but it helps bigly to bring in a fresh new staff not connected to the previous past 5 years. Clean sweep is the best way to go. IMO. From a PR perspective and for other reasons.

Texas OnlyFans model says Michigan coach DMed her after leaving jail
What is Sherrone Moore thinking?
By Wes Wilson,
Executive Editor
Dec 13, 2025

If you're to believe a Houston OnlyFans model—one who comes with receipts—disgraced former Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore DMed her on Instagram Friday afternoon just a couple hours after getting out of jail.

Mia Sorety took to X on Friday to say that Moore turned on "vanishing texts" and then sent her a scathing message on Instagram accusing her of outing him to the New York Post. (Note: These links are technically safe for work but just barely.) Sorety took a photo of her phone but blurred out Moore's DM. You can see the timestamp but not what Moore said. Sorety said she never talked to the Post but plans to release her DMs to TMZ.

The crazy thing for Chron readers is that Sorety is from Texas—Houston specifically. I guess all roads lead to the Lone Star State. Sorety also said her family owns a "chain of businesses" in Houston and that she is now a multimillionaire thanks to her OnlyFans subscribers and investments.

Sorety has 1.7 million followers on Instagram and 526,000 on TikTok. OnlyFans does not display subscriber counts, but Sorety has more than 570,000 "likes" on the explicit platform.

The timestamp of the DM that Moore reportedly sent Sorety occurred at 5:50 p.m. CT on Friday. He was released from jail a little before 3 p.m. CT.

"I mean even with it blurred out it shows the very first thing he does is DM me fresh after getting out of jail instead of being on the phone with his wife and CHILDREN," Sorety said in a reply to a post on X.

Michigan abruptly fired Moore for cause Wednesday for an inappropriate relationship and affair with a separate woman, who was a team staff member. Losing his job will cost Moore more than $12 million in salary. Police later arrested Moore that same afternoon. He appeared in court Friday for the first time via a jail video feed and was charged with three crimes, including home invasion and stalking.

Moore—who is married with three young children—is accused of having a years-long affair with that staffer. Prosecutors say the woman ended the relationship on Monday. She then disclosed the affair to the University of Michigan. Shortly after Michigan fired Moore, prosecutors say the football coach barged into the woman's apartment, grabbed some butter knives and kitchen scissors and threatened his own life.

"My blood is on your hands. You’ve ruined my life," prosecutors said Moore told the woman. Moore pleaded not guilty Friday and was released on $25,000 bail. Sorety said it wasn't long after his release that Moore DMed her.

"He had vanishing messages turned on because he was being creepy and not trying to get caught," Sorety said.

What's even crazier is that Sorety said Moore would message her during football games, including the national championship game and the most recent Michigan-Ohio State game.

"We did engage back and forth but never were intimate because what he wanted was crazy," Sorety said on X.

As for his legal trouble, Moore's next court date is Jan. 22.

It's unlikely he'll be doing much more DMing—at least on Instagram or X. He deleted his accounts on both platforms Friday night after this story broke. No word yet whether he also deleted his OnlyFans account.

I don’t because we have a bunch of Debbie downer types who rush in to scold us for our irresponsible speculation. It’s not these scolders don’t irresponsibly speculate on other topics—they just want to appear to have higher moral ground by scolding us on a topic they are sensitive about. Peak hypocrisy. 😂 how dare you speculate on this topic! And go back to DT or the CR and irresponsibly speculate on another topic.

Some here believe the race dynamic is less consequential than the power dynamic. I think it’s important not to downplay the consequences of race in situations like this.  They guy who dragged Moore in the video clip up thread did so in a comical way but he was making a serious point about men like Moore.

Dude, it is absolutely bananas to believe that UM powers that be wanted anything OTHER than for Moore to be a highly successful Black head coach. Have folks not been on a major university campus recently?

The pretty pro forma investigation that went nowhere is fairly compelling evidence that no one on that campus was itching to ring him up for playing in the snow.

I’m just going to point out a few things.

$55,000 is the starting point.

$90,000 is the ending point.

$110,000 is double of $55,000.

$35,000 is the difference between $90,000 and $55,000. (NOT $50K.)

63.63…% is the percent increase in salary from $55,000 to $90,000.

($35K / $55K = .6363636363… or 63.63…%.)

Should have done that as soon as Harbaugh walked away, but they were worried about Moore and others flipping on them to the NCAA so they paid him off.

ETA: 2ndarily, they wanted to hold onto recruits like Underwood and hoped Moore could continue winning.

Which brings me to the firing. It has been reported that the AD fired Moore all by himself. No one else was present.
Doesn't that seem a little...strange? You have an incendiary-level situation here and you don't have a university lawyer, HR rep, or a president in the room?
Moore was fired for cause and the university trashed the fuck out of him in their press release, just as UT did with Beard. Yet, they don't have a highly-trained person from the law firm that is handling the investigation or the head of HR in the room just to cover themselves?
It honestly reminds me a little of Frederich Fromm, the poor German general who was loosely tied up in the plot to kill Hitler. Once he caught the conspirators, he had them all quickly shot, so they couldn't tell anyone about his involvement. (it ultimately didn't save him, as the Nazis figured out he was covering his tracks and shot him, too)
Why did the AD need to have his conversation with Moore as private as possible?
Thoughts?

He’s fucking her too, lol

All he had to do was follow the script:

”I’m deeply embarrassed for my actions and how they have harmed my family, friends, and everyone who loves Michigan football. I know there will be consequences and I am prepared to accept those as I work towards rebuilding some trust and showing that this failure does not define me as a person. I’m here to help my successor in every way I can and will always be grateful for the opportunities this university gave me.”

He’d have been an analyst on some staff probably before next season and a position coach within a couple years. Unfortunately breaking into houses and screaming about murder/suicide changes your future employment options.

And the script could have been provided to him had the AD, HR, PR, etc. teams collaborated on process.  Hell, they could have actually worked out a resignation with small severance had they all planned something.  "I violated UM code; I am resigning etc."

The OnlyFans and Instagram stuff could have also been embarrassing for the university, but it would have been less of a circus.  I am honestly surprised that no one in the UM admin took action to have him hide/delete/etc. his instagram.  As noted a while back, he was publicly following 100s of young women, influencers, and OF models.  Go "private" or use a burner account if you must :)

Agreed, and that shows how pear shaped this athletic department has gotten. I mean, Juwan Howard got a “one assault and battery on another team’s coach free” card.

So, she denied the allegations for quite a while (including recent direct questioning from the "independent" law firm).  And then, something triggered her to report the truth.  My irresponsible speculation is that someone wanted Moore gone, knew about the affair (sounded like common knowledge) and gave her some strong incentives to spill the beans.  If she's driving around in a new Trans Am in 6 months, we'll know how she earned it.

Maybe Moore was quickly going off the deep end she reached her breaking point and was concerned for her safety or job.  But this thing popping 1 week after national signing day sure feels orchestrated.
