Mariupol today.

Terrorism units of Kyiv region continue to destroy the enemy!

Destroyed Russian ROM 9A39 complex BUK-1M, most likely destroyed by Bayraktar.

Another three Russian BMDs were seized in Kyiv region.

The former owners of these cars are the "elite" 76th Airborne Division of Mordor

The military of the 95th Brigade shot down two Mi-8 transport and combat helicopters.

The fighters destroyed them by calculating the domestic portable anti-tank missile system "Corsair". This is, in fact, the first time that an air target has been successfully destroyed by ATGM.

The Kadyrovites' GAZ "Tiger" was defeated in Mariupol.

By now Ukraine is flooded with some of the world’s best anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons.   Every day is harder for the orcs.  Their morale and combat readiness continues to deteriorate, while the defenders of Ukraine have growing confidence and resources.

I am really not trying to be a dick, but this part of your post is laughable.

You think a poll in Russia is going to be an honest assessment? How about the opinion in DKNR, Cuba under Castro or Venezuela.  The Russians live in faux democracy..its all fake, window dressing..they support Putin b/c dissent means death.  We are not going to get a true opinion poll out of Russia, the state owns everything (that's the definition of Communism).  The people go along with everything b/c Putin has made it appear that they are westernized.  There is nothing honest about the Godless commies and the people dont know what they dont know.

You’re wrong, but maybe because you aren’t following things closely or reading enough about the situation in Russia.  First off, it’s nearly impossible to have an impartial poll in Russia, but more importantly, support for the war and blame for the west is increasing.  A trend does tell you something.  But go sit in a corner and guess instead of reading what’s available.

Look, I don’t care who you are, if your country is involved in a war and you have neighbors and family in the military, you are going to back your guys.   Like for the hot minute Argentina backed war with the UK….until they dumped the government responsible for the war when it was a disaster.

Jesus - look at our own patriotic knee jerk idiocy.   Remember “Freedom fries”?   Everyone backs our own side even in a poorly decided lie-induced shit war like Iraq II.    We were all in.   So are they.   Now.  And they had 5% of our access to a wealth of non-state driven news.   Of course they back Putin with what they are allowed to know.   Hell, “Mother Russia is being attacked” is like Pavlov’s dogs to those poor mooks.   It’s in their DNA.

Lets see how they feel in six months when they are out of work and nothing is on the shelves and 20k dead Russian family members gets known.

Russia is really doubling down on the “they hate us cause they ain’t us” messaging inside and outside of Russia.  I would expect as the shock of the war wears off and sanctions start to bite in the initial way— no Happy Meals and your trip to Europe is off— for Russians to rally round the flag.  It will take some time for broad economic malaise to set in and that’s what might spark anger with the central government.  The propaganda machine can effectively spin what is happening right now as a Western temper tantrum aimed at keeping Russia down.

Here’s a recent little pity party missive that they fired off on the Facebook of one of their European embassies.  The Russian pioneers of lightbulbs and TV did their work in the United States, BTW.

#Russia. The largest country in the world. Huge, strong, independent! And that's why she's so unloved by others. They do not want to consider us Europe and call us barbarians. But we don't care. We are good, hospitable, immobile. We share what nature has given us: resources and great minds. And all we ask in return is to respect us as we respect you. Leaders of various countries are proposing to isolate Russia. But what will you do with Russia's contribution to literature, art and science? We have succeeded in this just like you.

The world today would not be like this without our discoveries in the past. Did we not give humanity electric lamps, an electromagnetic telegraph, an electric motor, a radio, a television, a parachute and a color photograph? There is a "Russian footprint" that you are so afraid of. Today you call us aggressors and you do not want to appreciate our achievements. The WHO has not yet recognized Sputnik V, the world's first coronavirus vaccine. But at the same time, you are satisfied with what our medical scientists have given - plaster bandages, anesthesia, an artificial heart, a device for artificial blood circulation, techniques in eye microsurgery. And what about mathematics and geometry, physics and chemistry? Lomonosov, Lobachevsky, Kovalevskaya, Mendeleev, Landau, Kapica ... Do you also need to abandon their discoveries and benefits for world science, as you have set in motion a culture of abolition? You are conquering the universe and dreaming of exploring Mars. But who opened the window to space for you? Theorist Ciolkovsky and engineer Korolev, Gagarin and Titov, Tereshkova and Leonov.

We honor and appreciate what others have created. We admire, preserve and develop. This creates an amazing symbiosis. Now your ballet and Tchaikovsky, Glinka, Mussorgsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Rachmaninov, Stravinsky, Prokofiev, Shostakovich are inextricably linked - we can continue on this list for a long time.

Russian painters are exhibited in your museums: Repin in Prague, Kandinsky in Munich, Malevich, Shagal, Rerich in New York. Do you go beyond their paintings just because they are ours? Or do you admire even though they are ours?

We are Russians, we have a broad soul. We, like every other nation, love our country and support our success. And you are afraid of us. You are so afraid of us that you are even boycotting our athletes: you are suing gymnasts, you are putting pressure on figure skaters. Although, if a strong athlete plays for you, you close your eyes to his nationality.

Thank you, Europe. Thank you, West. For your hypocrisy and selectivity. For only connecting us more with your steps. We are Russians, we are strong!

And we never give up. We have overcome the greatest evil of the 20th century, although you are now denying it and rewriting history books to downplay the role of Soviet soldiers. But we remember. To give the world peace, 11 million of our grandparents have laid down their lives. We will never forget their heroism. You wonder why we organize a parade in honor of # Victory every year. We do not understand how it is possible to conduct SS marches today. You brag about your tolerance. So why don't you show us? Isn't tolerance for another worldview your new cult? You are afraid of us. You hate us. You are thinking of more and more ways to limit us. Thanks also for this. Thanks to the world leaders. By doing so, you are showing your citizens that it is not possible to ban everything from Russia and erase Russia from the world.

Let me ask you this: Why would you be surprised at Russian Boomers believing what false shit was said on state run news?

I do think, as you said, things will turn once more Russians are killed.

And plenty more are going to be killed.  They don't have unlimited APCs and tanks, and they are going to be running short.

If he tries to control those territories that the Russians rolled into, he will have to rebuild them.

Really think he's going to spend the money on that?  I could see if it was Odessa and he controlled the whole coastline, because the offshore o&g deposits could pay for it.

But these areas feel a whole lot more like "fuck you Ukraine, if I can't have it, you won't either!"

Holy shit Bucha right now, plus other areas around Kyiv.  Just straight up mass executions.  I don't think there's any way this ends well...

These events need to be carefully and meticulously documented.
Because if they are as they appear, they are crimes against humanity, and the Russian regime and state cannot be allowed to participate in the global community unless and until they face justice.
All Russian citizens abroad should face two choices: renounce your Russian citizenship and seek asylum, or be deported. All of them.
There is no going back from this.
