  1. Past hour
  2. I didn't have a brother. My friends who had big brothers were subject to endless torture that played on their faults, their immaturity, their goofyness. This torture ranged from titty twisters and swirlies to dropping a loogie on their face, failing to pick them up from school when it was raining or broadcasting their crushes to the entire student body. I like to think of this thread as a manifestation of my lack of a little brother, and I will gleefully pile on at their endless failures in engaging reality. It is the most predictable thing in the world, like the flu in winter or taxes in April. I've been watching these twits fail EVEN WHEN THEY BEAT US for over 40 years. It is one of the great joys in my life.
  3. At Michigan game a Michigan fan in front of me asked if aggy was biggest rival and the df Texas fan ahead of him said yes. I had to correct him and say that is like saying Michigan State is your biggest rival. OU is our biggest rival and we hate losing to OU, we are embarrassed losing to aggy because no business ever losing to them.

OU paid a shit ton for Jadyn Ott last year, and I bet they would have killed to have Tre on the roster this year.

  6. You’re saying the same thing. He wants to win but it has to be in a way in which he gets all the credit. And it’s a huge middle finger to the fans because we don’t give a single shit about his ego and who would get credit. He would get to hold the trophy either way and he can claim credit anyway so his brain on this is seriously fucked..
  7. I wouldn’t like it if the nfl was all 1 year contracts with no cap either. The amount of annual roster changeover is massive, and it was much more than the nfl to begin with due to eligibility rules. System needs some polishing. or I guess we can treat it like any other right to work employees who leave at any time for what they feel is a better opportunity, or get fired at any time for any reason. That’s generally not how people like their sports organized though, or some league somewhere in the world would operate as such.
  8. FIFY - (His name wasn't "Fred Aker", it was "Fred Akers", as in, "FIRE FRED AKERS!") Leon Fuller was the best DC at Texas I've ever seen.
  9. I was just naming schools that popped into my head at that moment, nothing more. I honestly sat here wondering where he could land that would fit him, but as I was looking at rosters for teams just now that I mentioned he would be behind all of their RB's (outside of the SMU, TCU, etc). I think he could make money going to UCLA, and a degree from there is not a bad gig if he gets one in something that isn't bullshit. Maybe Oklahoma St? He doesn't need to go down a level, he just needs to be realistic in his choices. If he ends up at Bama, UM. Auburn, wherever, I'll cheer him on. I want him to be the best he can be no matter where he goes.
  10. I’ve sorta moved on from Reacher. The ones where Child writes with his son don’t have the same punch. I dunno, maybe I’ll try them again. SIAP ( I haven’t read all the way through this thread) but I’ve been enjoying new Jason Trapp series. Read the first two so far.
  11. Yesterday
  12. Yeah even if we lose our last two and the Colts win their last two the tiebreak would come down to strength of victory, and they’d need 6-7 games to go their way to swing that…
  13. Yeah, there's a reason why it's never been done before. But I'm sure behind the scenes there's a TrumpCo subsidiary that's about to get a couple million bucks to pretend to make the marble armrests work.
  14. If there ever was a username that fit the bill……..
  15. it's a smart move. He will stabilize a program that's fucked up every which way.
  16. That's the worst idea I ever ever heard lol
  17. Yeah I think it’s weird Utah forced him out for a HCIW if he still wanted to coach. I figured he just wanted to end on a high note so coached this season year to recover from last season which wasn’t good. He did that so I figured it was retirement. Just a weird situation. He’ll help Michigan get passed this stuff.

We'll see. If you are going to limit the list of schools to blue bloods or teams that were in this years CFP, that's significantly different than stating "I bet he ends up at a G5 school." Hell even SMU was in the CFP just last season.
  19. That tweet made me feel stupid for having read it.
  20. Yeah, they all assumed he was going to just fade into retirement.
  21. legit possibility.
  22. How many women has Elon impregnated again?
  23. No. Maybe for the next few days.
  24. ask @Brisketexan And I don't think so since their burritos are explosive whereas NM's offense is not.
  25. Jerry's actions say otherwise. He already admitted forever ago on record that he would have fired the GM of Dallas if it was anyone other than himself. He is admitting he is a failure of a GM and needs to be replaced. Except his ego won't allow him to do so because he feels he will be admitting to the world he isn't good enough and he can't have that. No one would actually give a shit, though and actually would applaud him for finally stepping aside. As long as him and his family stay in charge of running the personnel decisions of this team, he is giving the middle finger to the fanbase and doesn't care about winning.
