  2. We talking about the experts who shut down beaches during Covid?
  3. There are 8. Ohio State bests the pack and y’all do not appear to be counting them.
  4. So redistricting has to be done right now? A little over a year before the midterms? Seems strange, right? Almost like the party in power knows their policies are unpopular and will likely lose the House. So they’re panicking and scrambling to do the bidding of the president who wants to continue his power grab. You support that?
  5. We had some pretty high draft picks with Tim Nunez’ line in early Mack years. And those lines sucked. I’ve also been a bit disappointed with the line play. It hasn’t been bad. But it needs to be better.
  6. I donno man, he’s nurtured financial stability and put only the best people in charge. I don’t think they’ll have any problem navigating further elevated deficits. I mean, there’s basically no chance of any sort of global crisis that could require even more spending
  7. Man, looking over this roster, I realize that basically we are in a new era of Spurs. WIth the departure of Son, there are no more players from when I first started following the club. Son joined a few years later, but this roster is fully flipped now with both him and Harry gone. The nature of sport, I know. Still a bummer.
  8. Looks like Trump flipped on Lip-Bu. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/08/11/intel-ceo-trump-lip-bu-tan.html Another TACO case? President Donald Trump said Monday that he and members of his cabinet met with Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, days after he called on the head of the chipmaker to resign. Intel shares rose 2% in extended trading. β€œI met with Mr. Lip-Bu Tan, of Intel, along with Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, and Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessent,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. β€œThe meeting was a very interesting one. His success and rise is an amazing story. Mr. Tan and my Cabinet members are going to spend time together, and bring suggestions to me during the next week. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” An Intel spokesperson confirmed the meeting. β€œEarlier today, Mr. Tan had the honor of meeting with President Trump for a candid and constructive discussion on Intel’s commitment to strengthening U.S. technology and manufacturing leadership,” the spokesperson wrote in an email.
  9. Considering the decade we had, it's interesting we are rated about right.
  10. I agree that random fly-by-night twitter tik tok hot takes shouldn't be part of the discussion. It distracts from what is actually happening - that our current POTUS is using the military against a civilian population for political gain with false and manufactured justification. It makes me ponder on what happened to the folks worried about overuse of federal powers or the folks behind no gestapo in bastropo.
  11. β€œIt’s terrifying how little the experts actually know” says the guys who fought to take horse paste during covid. Terrifying indeed.
  12. I've seen a single asshole with an MBA boldly lead businesses into the shitter with increasing regularity, it's really wonderful America is being ran like a business by businessmen now.

  14. I'm pretty sure it was 1999.
  15. Okay, Gunner's Mate First Class Phillip Asshole.
  16. I get it but every other area of Texas' team has improved damn near exponentially since Sark's arrival. But i think the oline has not followed suit. It was easily the weak link in the position groips the last two years. I was expecting Saban/Bama type of dominance. Flood needs to do better.

  18. Texas OL drafted 2009-2023: 2 Texas OL drafted 2024-2025: 4 You can acknowledge that a position group has work to do without going full satya.
  19. Yeah, cops being able to flat out lie about anything has always been very strange to me.
  20. if its any consolation, i think the people youre arguing against also have mental health problems.
  21. This post echoes my thoughts. I'm a huge Sark fan but I thought he should've replaced Ewers w/ Manning. He could've protected Ewers draft position (moot point after the fact) by saying the totality of his lingering injuries prevent him from playing at the level needed for Texas to wina championship.
