Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: They Can't Keep Getting Away With This

Developer is great, but it doesn't always register the same as "Players who go to Texas get rich as fuck in the draft." -

"If You Think It's A Scam, It Usually Is"
Nice Guy Eddie replied to ROFL BOX's topic in Can You Help Me With This?
It's just a fact that old people, often in mental decline, and their money are soon parted. Many scams take place in person. Scammers see a house needing repairs and knock on the door to see if the homeowner needs help. An old person answers and the scammers may offer a deal if the homeowner agrees to same-day work. The scammer only needs $1000 to go buy the materials from Home Depot. Even non-old folks have fallen for this scam. Always tell old people in your life to reach out to you whenever money is involved. I knew an retired person that bought a car over the internet. The scammer asked for a down payment to hold the car before the buyer flew to their city to finalize the deal and transfer ownership. My friend said the hell with a down payment, I will send the full amount. smh. There was no car and no one met him at the airport. He was out the full amount. -

I thought Purdue lost a ton of talent. Surprising to see them so high on that list. -
Yes and yes. I don't think he'll do anything more with Star Wars. The lightsabers and Force characters just aren't something he seems interested in. He also sees some of the characters as a burden on his storytelling like Vader and even K2SO because of how limited that can make his story. He changed this show from being more K2SO centric. He's interested more in the human aspects of Star Wars. I'll echo something I saw online, he does a great job of making the Stormtroopers actually terrifying and not the cartoonish cannon fodder they're normally written as. The screams when the Stormtroopers started walking down the steps to box the crowd into the kill zone was horrifying. Gilroy has really pushed the Empire back how they acted in the original Star Wars.

Feels like the same thing happens in basketball every year too where a regular season win over a middle of the pack conference opponent in late February feels so much bigger than a victory against a similar opponent in the Bahamas in November. I guess human nature is to see games in May as more important than games in March, but they count the same in the standings.

I guess we will find out somewhere around 2035 given his track record of over promising and under delivering. When that time does come, I wouldn’t be someone taking a dump in one. -

Like the national forests? Go while they're still there.

Aren't you the one with a house in Montana who likes to ski? You want to see the national forests and BLM land sold off and developed or clear cut? This isn't just about national parks. Maybe he could sell off the ski resort where you ski. How would you like that? Or the open space you use to recreate. -
For years all we heard was how great top to bottom the SEC was in football and baseball. We heard it for years that the SEC schedules were the gauntlet of sports. We get here and beat almost everyone’s ass and it is because we have an easy SEC schedule. Go figure.

Timing was so good as well. He was a reclamation project. He fucked up big time at his previous head coaching stops and wanted redemption. He was clearly moving in the right direction at Bama. I'm glad our coaching search saw the drive and determination, understood how his past played an indelible role in that, and siezed the moment. Always good to hire someone who is both talented and hellbent on proving the world wrong. -

Idk how you can look at those four games and say Quinn is great. But you know what, the people that matter have spoken. He was the 13th Qb taken for a reason He looked great against the waterboys at UF i suggest we all move forward and root for Arch but I can already sense some anti Arch sentiment brewing. -

Democrats often fail to understand that an issue isnt over and accepted by large groups once Dems achieve some goal like a court decision, policy adoption or new law.
