No. Tadej is the best cyclist in the world currently, and possibly ever. That doesn't mean that he is capable of winning every stage that he wants. It's okay to admit that another cyclist was better on given day.

yeah you are supposed to be able to tap RT to abort the playaction but it doesnt always work and holding RT cancels it but holding RT makes all the defenders that are rushing shed almost instantly They had to do this to keep the QB scrambles from being too powerful, but it is kind of silly that staying in the pocket allows decent blocking (sometimes) and taking off allows all the defenders to instantly shed at the same time.

Was that a one-time, lump-sum payment, or is that the annual bill? Either way, that's quite the "deal" Trump made with the technofascist running that country, but I'm sure Bukele's ties to international gangs, including MS-13, have to play a role in the whole thing. It's funny how their partnership materialized overnight as soon as Trump was elected. Anyway, El Salvador just changed their Constitution by eliminating term limits, which undoubtedly Trump finds both inspirational and aspirational. Oh, and Bukele's got a really punchable face. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/08/01/world/americas/el-salvador-bukele-term-limits.html El Salvador’s National Assembly on Thursday approved sweeping changes to the nation’s Constitution, paving the way for President Nayib Bukele, who is in his second term in office, to run for re-election indefinitely. The legislature, in which Mr. Bukele’s party holds a supermajority, voted to end presidential term limits and extend a president’s term in office from five years to six, according to the National Assembly's X account. Mr. Bukele was first elected in 2019 and successfully ran in 2024 for a second term, even though legal scholars said at the time that El Salvador’s Constitution barred a president from serving consecutive terms. After Mr. Bukele’s legislative allies installed new judges on the Supreme Court, the court reinterpreted the Constitution and cleared the way for the president to run again. The 44-year-old president has consolidated power while in office, leading his Nuevas Ideas party to its supermajority in the legislature and cracking down on gangs through mass arrests. Killings and extortion by gangs have gone down dramatically under Mr. Bukele, but civil liberties have also deteriorated, Salvadoran human rights defenders say. In June, Mr. Bukele said he would rather be called a dictator than let criminals operate with impunity. He has also positioned himself as President Trump’s closest ally in Latin America, playing a role in Mr. Trump’s deportation plans by imprisoning immigrants expelled from the United States, in exchange for the return to El Salvador of members of the MS-13 gang who had been in U.S. custody. The amendments to five articles of the Constitution quickly passed on Thursday, with 57 votes in favor and three opposed, the National Assembly said on X. The changes will ensure that presidential elections coincide with legislative and municipal elections, Ana Figueroa, the Nuevas Ideas lawmaker who proposed the amendments, wrote on social media after the vote. She also noted that legislators and local officials, like mayors, do not have term limits. Mr. Bukele’s current term ends in 2029, but Ms. Figueroa said that it should end in 2027 to coincide with legislative elections, at which point he could run for a six-year term.

Also, those states are doing it specifically in response to Texas' cynical effort. It's not in response to "organic" urging from a "left-wing" official or party.

That sucks. Flaco was a giant in his musical genre. I read that Dave Edmunds had some sort of medical event and isn't doing well, either. We're going to be seeing a lot of these great musicians and artists passing away in the near future, unfortunately.

Officers apprehended the woman Wednesday afternoon on highway 65 after weeks of bizarre reports and near-misses. Despite her age, police say she evaded capture multiple times using her walker and disappearing into nearby woods. "She's surprisingly quick for 102," said Officer Brad Connelly. "We didn't see this one coming." The woman was taken into custody without incident. Charges are pending, though officials say they may consider leniency due to her age.

@Bozo_Casanova we are on the same journey but I’m three months ahead and three years younger. Just finished my tenth of ten lessons and they’ve helped tremendously. I am no longer a hack and just a mediocre player. I just bought new clubs after my coach did a bit of a fitting. I wanted TaylorMade but after hitting various types of clubs, it became obvious that I was so much longer and more accurate with Mizuno 925s. I tried to pretend it was politics and not pay attention to the data in front of me but coach kept directing me back to the stats so I begrudgingly went with them and now I love them (after one whole round with them). I found no one talks to you about your swing. And like someone said, pick up a ball if putting group behind pace of play. No one cares about your score at all, people just care to not slow them down. Good luck to us newbs.
