  3. ^ Find a DiBella’s.
  4. Yeah I've always done that. Fuck that shit right now.
  5. According to this, they are not. https://deadline.com/2025/09/atsuko-okatsuka-reveals-riyadh-comedy-fest-censorship-rules-1236557912/
  6. Indeed. So, knowing that, maybe....just MAYBE... we shouldn't (a) cast them out on their own and say "fuck you pull yourself up by your bootstraps because anything that supposedly helps the common good by helping some particular people is COMMUNISM," and (b) maybe....just MAYBE....we should be spraying fuel directly into their mentally broken carburetors by relentlessly pounding the drums of war against those a certain group deems to be "the enemy?" You know, don't tell crazy people that every brown person in this country is an evil criminal who any second now is going to murder and rape you, and MAYBE you won't have a nutbar inspired to drive to El Paso and shoot 40-something brown people. Stuff like that. Our toxic individualism combined with the fact that spewing hate is our national ethos is a kinda sorta bad combo. A smart society would reconsider that approach.
  7. I haven't attended many Astros game in the last couple of years but they previously would play Take Me out the Ballpark followed by Deep in the Heart of Texas in the 7th inning stretch. Both of which can be fun songs to show people singing or dancing on the big screen. The only exception would be God Bless America on Sunday game's 7th inning stretch. I guess there was some connection that since it's church day and the song had God in its title. Who knows, maybe they sing God Bless America every day now. I've never understood the need to play the national anthem at sporting events. Except that now any team that didn't play it would be labeled as anti-American. Which makes zero sense. I find the song's main purpose at games is for those who want to virtue signal and don't get me started when someone goes after someone else for not removing their hat. Snowflakes who just want to get mad at someone.
  8. Pretty sure every bullpen arm outside of Garcia is a free agent.
  9. I don't feel like I've ever been to a sub place and left feeling like, "Wow that was really good!" Feels more like, "Yup, that was a sandwich for lunch."
  10. Kawhi apparently confirmed it all. "None of us did no wrongdoing. That's it."
  11. It’s a great place if you want to nonce about and hobnob with genteel decrepit families hiding a Horrible Darkness.
  12. any injuries to report? That is about all these things are good for
  13. Oh Cindy...sounds like you need to do your own research
  14. I sometimes forget that Delaware is a state.
  15. It's hard to believe that anyone would consider Oxford a more desirable locale than Highland Park. Really? It's still in fuckin' Mississippi (admittedly, I've never been there)
  16. Dana White is almost as big of a piece of shit as Trump is. He'll cradle the balls, stroke the shaft, work the pipe and swallow the gravy.
  17. Yeah fuck that guy. But anyway, I didn't know where to put this, as I'm not sure I will be going to these shows, but Hum is getting back out there again.
  18. I had completely erased the McElwain era from my mind. I saw him in a wiki article when I got curious after Napier crapped out against Miami and thought “oh yeah, they had that guy.”
  19. This is true. I know that this is part of me getting older and just not giving a shit about a lot anymore but don't find myself looking forward to football season, individual games or even really watching games.
  20. With my luck Trump will make an appearance at ACL Fest this weekend.
  21. Take a detour. Go through Cloudcroft. Enjoy the scenery.
  22. If you see a Cybertruck parked outside an art show, that art show is gonna suck.
  23. I would rent a car and do three of those days, maybe the back end, outside of Paris in the Loire Valley. Three days is enough to really feel like you did Paris. I usually advocate against over scheduling but three days is a good chunk. I enjoyed Loire much more, frankly. Blois or a village nearby would be a great base; see some chateaux and get a feel for real France. It’s a couple hour straight drive to Paris, you can drop your car and fly out.
  24. Never Enough is the best album I've heard in a while. There isn't enough volume to do it justice.
