Another vote for YouTubeTV. You can tell it which specific teams, leagues (NCAAF, F1, MLB, etc), events (Masters, US Open, etc) and so on you want to record, and it will record ‘em all and group them separately. DVR space is unlimited, but the catch is shows “expire” after nine months. Best part, by far IMHO, is it records until the game ends. No more “huh… do I set my recording to end 60 mins or 90 mins after it’s scheduled to end?” It knows. The apps, phone and tablet, are great, too

The WNBA has operated at a loss for almost three decades. To put that in a UT themed timeline, Ricky Williams had not won his Heisman Trophy yet and I was still in high school. The biggest reason this league has existed through those years is the millions in funding from the NBA. There has not been a day in the history of this league where they have been able to say a profit has been made. You make demands when you can show you are making bank. That new media deal ensures the players can now say they deserve a substantial raise in pay. The owners can no longer say we don’t have enough money to pay more. It’s there and it’s time to up the paycheck. I find the league entertaining. Did Caitlin Clark get me to focus MORE attention on the league? Yes. However, I do like watching some of the other young guns like Bueckers for example. More are on the way. I can take this back to 2020 as well. One day I go to a protest over on the Upper East Side. This young girl was there on her own. I think she was 11 or so. She lived in the neighborhood and I asked her what she wanted to be. She said a professional basketball player. She also asked me why WNBA players do not get more money. I told her then I hoped they would eventually make a lot more. She wanted them to make NBA money, but she was young and I wasn’t going to tell a child it was not likely to happen. That memory stood out because it showed the league was finally starting to have an impact beyond their small core fanbase.

WTF!? That is some top shelf ‘tard right there. I would add that the price they are looking for would be equal to everything an individual has. After all, it would be the last thing they ever did. -

Speaking of the revenge tour, Blondi filed a judicial conduct complaint against DC Chief Judge James Boasberg, who has been a thorn in Trump's side. The gravamen of the complaint: allegedly public comments about the Trump administration disobeying court orders. The forum for the comments: a breakfast with John Roberts during the Judicial Conference of The United States, where Chief Judges of district courts all across the nation raise issues current in their courts. An entirely private affair at which such issues are supposed to be raised and Boasberg raised them on behalf of the entire DC District Court. Unsurprisingly, a complete load of shit that Blondi didn't even have the guts to sign herself. And clearly designed to intimidate judges into capitulation. Didn't see this reported or discussed anywhere. https://www.stevevladeck.com/p/170-dojs-ridiculous-misconduct-complaint -
While I doubt we'd have won a national title by 2005, we did go 11-2 in both 2001 and 2002. Vince didn't kick ass in 2003, either. Don't overstate it.

He and Deloss totally enabled and culturally epitomized the "country club atmosphere" we became known for. If it hadn't been for striking gold with VY and Colt I think his legacy would have been very, very different and the trajectory of the program would have been quite grim.

Would that conservative "news" outlets were merely biased. As an NPR listener and former conservative one thing notable about it is there's very little "analysis," or "editorializing." Yes, you can often tell that the reporters and personalities are revolted and shocked by what they're reporting, but they rarely come out and say it, or even really imply it. And don't pretend this is some measured conservative policy. They've been bitching about it since Nixon but haven't done anything about it. This is 100% Donald Trump's revenge tour. Also, yes it is different times. But you really never know when the next Sesame Street is coming down the pike and I think there is value to having a non-profit, publicly oriented media outlet. -
Aggy only operates off of 1 blueprint…for 85 years of futility and suckage. They’ll never change.

Is anyone here watching this on Netflix? It’s getting popular again since everyone missed it when it was on TNT. Glad to see the show is finally getting the recognition it deserves.

There could be some incredible stock short selling opportunities because of this. Market zooms on fake economic numbers then individual stocks get clobbered when they report quarterly results that show the affects of tariffs and other dotard stupidity. Then again, dotard will probably tell companies to report fake results to prop up the illusion. It’s not like the SEC will go after them. -

I know I'm basically pissing in the ocean here, but the '85 Bears defense kinda sucks as an analogy any time it's used. The '85 Bears defense's front 7 were obviously amazing, but what really made it dominant was a short-term schematic advantage; most NFL offenses ran play-action, runs setting up deep passes. So the Bears put 8 in the box and blitzed like crazy. Yes, their front 7 was amazing, but their DBs were dubious; the one time they played a team that could throw and throw well, they got punked, and only dodged them in the Super Bowl because the Patriots ran 9,243 times against the Dolphins in the AFC Title Game and the Fins couldn't stop 'em. In 1986, it was Washington gettin' 186 yards on 32 pass attempts -- a huge number of attempts for the time -- that ended Chicago's playoff run in its first game. (Also, in '86, McMahon pulled a Manziel, and pretty much was never good again, which didn't help.) In other words, I put more stake in NFL offenses being dumb than in the Bears' defense being all that good. actually now that I think of it the Bears-Dolphins game is a lot like our semifinals loss against Washington but I'd really rather not talk or think about that right now -
